To overcome shortcoming of autogeneous, allogenic, xenogenic and alloplastic bone grafts, various growth factors related to bone regeneration have been identified and developed. Among them, rhBMP 2 is regarded as the most potent osteoinductive growth factor and it can trigger the differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells to osteogenic cells for accelerated new bone formation And several commercial products of rhBMP 2 are available in Korea. It is applied to maxillary sinus augmentation, guided bone regeneration and preservation of extraction socket. In this review, the development, action mechanism and clinical applications of rhBMP 2 will be described.
산연협력에서의 협력적 행동 및 만족에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect satisfaction in Industry-Public Research Institute (IPR) cooperation. This study selects IPR's dependence, IPR's trust, IPR's cooperation commitment and IPR's cooperative behavior as factors influencing IPR's cooperation satisfaction based on resource dependence theory, interpersonal relationship theory and interorganizational relationship theory. The structural relationship between these constructs was established with nine hypotheses. A total of 277 data for hypothesis testing were collected from Daedeok Innopolis through a survey. The survey subjects were the managers of firms, which are technology receivers, and university professors and researchers at public research institutes, which are a group of technology providers. In the empirical analysis results, it was found that IPR's dependence has a positive effect on IPR's trust, IPR's cooperation commitment and IPR's cooperative behavior. And IPR's trust has a positive effect on IPR's cooperation commitment, IPR's cooperative behavior and IPR's cooperation satisfaction. In addition, IPR's cooperation commitment has a positive effect on IPR's cooperative behavior and IPR's cooperation satisfaction, and IPR's cooperative behavior has a positive effect on IPR's cooperation satisfaction. Additionally, in the technology receiver group, the effect of IPR's cooperation commitment on IPR's cooperation satisfaction was not significant, but all other structural relationships were found to be significant. On the other hand, in the technology providers group, IPR's trust was found to have a significant effect on IPR's cooperation commitment, IPR's cooperative behavior and IPR's cooperation satisfaction, and the rest of the structural relationships were found to be nonsignificant. As a result, the factors affecting the IPR's cooperation satisfaction of the businessmen group and the researcher group were found to be different.
기술혁신능력 및 기술사업화역량이 경쟁우위에 미치는 영향: 대덕연구개발특구 수출기업을 중심으로

본 연구는 대덕연구개발특구내 수출기업을 중심으로 기업의 기술혁신능력, 기술사업화역량 및 경쟁우위간의 관계를 분석하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 수출기업의 기술혁신능력과 경쟁우위간의 관계에서 기술사업화역량의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 본 연구모형은 기업의 기술혁신능력, 기술사업화 및 경쟁우위에 관한 기존 문헌연구와 실증연구에 기초하여 설정되었으며, 이 연구모형 검증을 위해 대덕연구개발특구내 수출기업을 대상으로 수행한 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 설문조사는 2015년 1월 5일부터 2월 4일까지 약 1개월간 수행되었으며, 수집된 103개 수출기업 자료는 PLS분석에 활용되었다. 본 연구에서 기술혁신능력은 2차 구성개념으로 1차 구성개념인 학습능력, 전략계획능력, 연구개발능력, 제조능력 및 마케팅능력으로 측정되었으며, 2차 구성개념인 기술사업화역량은 1차 구성개념인 상용화속도, 시장범위 및 기술너비로 측정되었다. 본 연구의 실증분석결과에서 수출기업의 기술혁신능력은 기술사업화역량에 정의 영향을 미치고, 수출기업의 기술사업화역량은 경쟁우위에 정의 영향을 미치며, 수출기업의 기술혁신능력은 경쟁우위에 직접적으로 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 수출기업의 기술사업화역량은 기술혁신능력과 경쟁우위간의 관계를 매개하는 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. This study aims to investigate the structural relationships between technology innovation capability, technology commercialization competence, and competitive advantage, focusing on the export firms in Daedeok Innopolis. In particular, this article attempts to analyze the mediating effects of technology commercialization competence on the nexus between a firm’s technology innovation capability and competitive advantage. The survey of 103 export firms was conducted from January 5, 2015 through February 4, 2015. Partial Least Squares analysis was applied to test the relationships between constructs set in the study. The commonality found in the results of the study is that a firm’s technology innovation capability has a positive effect on its technology commercialization competence and competitive advantage. The study also finds a solid evidence that a firm’s technology commercialization competence mediates the relationship between its technology innovation capability and competitive advantage while its technology commercialization competence used as mediating variable directly affects its competitive advantage, indicating that the null hypothesis of the non-existence of mediation effect can be rejected at the 5% significance level.
순무(Brassica rapa L.)의 TNF-α 자극에 의해 유도된 혈관염증 개선 효능

본 연구에서는 TNF-α에 의해 자극된 혈관세포에서 순무추출물이 염증매개인자 및 세포부착인자에 미치는 영향을 평가함으로써 초기 동맥경화를 예방 및 완화할 수 있는지 평가하였다. 그 결과 HUVECs 세포에 순무 추출물을 처리했을 때 농도 500 μg/mL에서 독성을 나타내어 25, 50, 100μg/mL 농도를 이용하여 혈관 내 염증 억제 효능 실험을 수행하였다. 염증 유발에 의해 유도되는 케모카인(IL-8, MCP-1)과 세포부착인자(ICAM-1, VCAM-1) 유전자와 단백질 발현량은 순무 추출물에 의해 억제되었고, TNF-α 발현 유도 및 IL-8, MCP-1 전사조절에 관여하는 NF-κB의 활성이 순무 추출물에 의해 억제되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 TNF-α에 의해 감소한 NO 생성량이 순무 추출물에 의해 농도 의존적으로 증가하였고, 혈관 확장 및 NO 생성 효소 eNOS 유전자와 단백질 발현을 증가시켰다. 이상의 연구 결과에서 TNF-α로 유도된 혈관내피세포 염증에 순무 추출물을 처리한 결과 eNOS의 발현 증가에 의해 NO가 증가하고 NF-κB의 활성은 억제시킴으로써 TNF-α에 의해 증가한 IL-8, MCP-1과 ICAM-1, VCAM-1의 발현이 감소하였다. 따라서 본 연구 결과에 의해 순무 추출물은 초기 동맥경화 질환예방 및 개선을 위한 기능성 소재로의 활용 및 건강기능식품으로의 개발 가치를 확인하였다. A high cholesterol diet, tobacco usage, and other negative life style elements are all factors that cause intravascular inflammation by interfering with the flow of blood and damaging vascular tissues. Recent cases of vascular diseases are gradually increasing due to these physical and chemical factors and the vascular inflammation persists, then the early symptoms of arteriosclerosis may occur. Turnip (Brassica rapa L.) is known to be a commonly consumed vegetable that has various physiological properties such as anti-inflammation and anti-cancer activities, among other activities. Therefore, this study investigated the anti-inflammatory effect of turnip extract in tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) stimulated human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs). The mRNA and protein expressions of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1) of the turnip extracts treated group, as compared to that of the TNF-α only treated group, were significantly inhibited at various concentration turnip extract treatment. The RNA of pro-inflammatory chemokines induced by the TNF-α expression were decreased by the turnip extract, and the turnip extract also inhibited NF-κB activity involved in inflammatory signaling. Nitric oxide (NO) was decreased by TNF-α treatment and significantly increased to 10.9 μM in the 100 μg/mL turnip extract treatment groups. Further, the mRNA and protein expressions of endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) were increased by the turnip extract in a dose-dependent manner. These results suggest the applicability of turnip extracts, because of their anti-inflammatory and vasodilatation functions, could be used to develop functional treatments to prevent the early onset of arteriosclerosis.
