소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트 제어를 위한 재작업 지표의 적용

소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트는 성공률이 30% 밖에 되지 않는 어려운 과제이다. 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트가 실패하는 이유는 여러 가지가 있을 수 있으나, 체계적인 관리 소홀이 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. 특히, 완성도가 떨어지는 산출물을 다음 단계로 진행시키는 것은 많은 시간과 노력을 허비하여 프로젝트를 실패로 이끌 수 있다. 이를 방지하기 위해 채택되고 있는 방식은 동료 검토(Peer Review) 또는 인스펙션(Inspection) 등과 같은 산출물들에 대한 검토활동이다. 문제가 발견된 산출물들은 다시 개발자에게 돌아가서 수정하게 되는데, 이 과정을 재작업 (Rework)이라고 한다. 프로젝트 관리자가 완성도가 떨어지는 산출물들을 다음 단계로 넘겨서 오류에 대한 막대한 비용을 지출하고 기간을 지연시키는 등의 사고를 막기 위하여, 본 연구에서는 재작업의 충실도를 높일 수 있는 방법을 연구하였다. 즉 프로젝트의 재작업 시에 작업분석을 시행함으로써 재작업된 결과의 검토 수준을 달리하는 재작업지표를 개발하였고, 이에 대한 검증을 위해 4개의 프로젝트를 선택하여 개발된 지표의 적용 여부를 관찰하고 그 효율성을 입증하였다. It is reported that the success ratio of software development projects has been only 30%. Many causes lower project's chance of success, particularly lack of systematic project management. Especially, moving on the next phase of project with unsatisfactory outputs can be very problematic because it can cause much waste of resource, time and even lead to the failure of the whole project. Peer review and inspection are some of the practices designed to prevent such waste and possible failure. When defects are identified through such progress, each developer has to work on the product component again and fix the problem. This process is called rework. In this paper, we propose a method for improving quality of reworked product component to prevent excessive cost and time consumed caused by moving on the next phase of a project with a problematic product component. More specifically, this paper suggests a rework indicator that measures the level of rework based on its complexity and severity and is used to choose appropriate checking method on reworked product component. The research also confirmed the method's usefulness and effectiveness by applying the suggested method on four projects.
일차 인공 슬관절 전치환술에서 자가 배액혈 재주입법과 무배액법의 비교

Purpose: Primary total knee arthroplasty is associated with considerable blood loss, and allergenic blood transfusions are frequently necessary. Because of the cost and risks of allogenic blood transfusions, the autologous drainage blood reinfusion technique has been developed as an alternative transfusion technique. A number of studies have compared the reinfusion techniques with standard suction drainage, but few reports have compared the reinfusion technique with the technique that uses no drain. We analyzed the early results after primary total knee arthroplasty with using autologous drainage blood reinfusion and no drain. Materials and Methods: We selected 30 patients who underwent primary total knee arthroplasty with using no drain between November 2005 and March 2006 and they were matched for age and gender with 30 patients who underwent primary total knee arthroplasty with using the autologous drainage blood reinfusion technique between January 2003 and October 2005. All the operations were done under a pneumatic tourniquet and meticulous hemostasis was performed after deflation of the tourniquet. We have retrospectively reviewed the preoperative data (age, gender, the body mass index, the diagnosis, a history of knee surgery, infection and/or anticoagulant therapy, and the medical cormorbidities) and the postoperative data (the hemoglobin level, the hematocrit and the platelet count during hospitalization, the amount of allogenic blood transfusion and narcotics, the complications, the rehabilitation process and the clinical scores). Results: The amount of allogenic blood transfusion in the autologous drainage blood reinfusion group was greater than that of the no drain group, but the difference was not statistically significant. The hemoglobin level and hematocrit during hospitalization were higher in the autologous drainage blood reinfusion group, which was significant at the postoperative second and seventh days. There was a case of deep infection in the no drain group. Conclusion: The autologous drainage blood reinfusion method when performing primary total knee arthroplasty did not show any significant clinical benefit over the no-drain method with regards to allogenic blood transfusions, the amount of narcotic used, the rehabilitation processes and the clinical scores. However, the incidences of wound complication and infection were higher in the no drain group.

It is necessary to have measurement and analysis activity for managing software project. At least, every project measures time and cost in order to figure it out whether it will finish within its deadline. CMMI has Measurement and Analysis process in Maturity Level 2. In Measurement and Analysis process, Indicators for decision making in project management are defined and analysis procedure of the measurements to get the indicators are specified. Also, the way of collecting the data and storing them is also planned. Establishing efficient and effective measurement and analysis process in the organization by improving existing process is very important for project success. In this paper, we provide a method for analyzing the measurement and analysis process and improving it based on IDEAL model. It will support the organizations which are trying to adopt CMMI to establish measurement and analysis process.
슬관절 전치환술에서 대퇴치환물의 회전정렬 -수동조작 시 연부조직 긴장을 고려한 방법-

Purpose: This study was undertaken to introduce a modified gap technique using manual distraction for achieving proper rotational alignment of the femoral components in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and we compared the accuracy of the rotational alignment of the femoral components in TKAs when using a navigation system with that of another conventional technique. Materials and Methods: We randomly used three different methods and implants (group 1: 3˚ external rotation from the posterior condylar axis method, group 2: a modified gap technique using manual distraction and group 3: a navigation system, Orthopilot(R)) in 92 patients. We measured the posterior condylar angles (PCA: the angle between the posterior condylar line and the transepicondylar axis) on computed tomography before and after surgery. Results: The analysis showed no significant differences of the demographic data (age, height, weight, body mass index) and of the mean PCAs for the rotational alignment of the femoral components between the three groups (preoperative PCA: 5.45˚ vs. 5.34˚ vs. 5.24˚, respectively; postoperative PCA: 1.91˚ vs. 1.17˚ vs. 1.37˚, respectively, p>0.05). However, the conventional 3˚ external rotation method showed a higher frequency of outliers (p=0.028). Conclusion: The modified gap technique using manual distraction showed a higher accuracy of the femoral rotational alignment compared with that of the 3˚ external rotation method by reducing the outliers, and the modified gap technique using manual distraction showed similar results compared with those of the navigation method.

The SNS(Social Network Service or Social Network Sites), the concept which came along with the Web2.0 is on-line service which focuses on building social network communities of people which used to be established off-line. Foreign SNS sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter and domestic SNS sites such as Cyworld, Me2Day are getting popularity continuously and became one of the most important application in internet environments. Since these SNS sites have the purpose of providing infrastructure which enable all the people to share his/her interests with all the other people, it is necessary to appraise whether these sites provide convenient interfaces with proper accessibility to handicapped people and old people who are considered having difficulties in using internet. Web accessibility refers to the practice of providing equal access to people of all abilities and disabilities. If the web accessibility of a SNS site is so low that handicapped people and old people cannot use it properly, those gaps between user groups may become social problems. Therefore, the paper appraised web accessibility of Facebook and Cyworld using automatic tool, KADO-WAH 2.0 and Standard guideline, WCAG 2.0 and suggested the improvement opportunities based on the results of the appraisal.
