In the aspects of economics, it is often used to weld dissimilar materials. In the present study, dissimilar materials, SS400 and STS 304, are welded by CO2 welding, and carried out the Hardness test, tensile test and fatigue fracture behavior. The result of the study shows: 1) The weld ability of dissimilar materials, SS 400 and STS 304, is good and the cutting face in tensile test and fatigue test is shown in the region of SS 400 HAZ. 2) Hardness was the highest in HAZ of STS 304 and decreased to the bond of SS 400 gradually and the average hardness in HAZ of SS 400.
poly-GaAs 채널을 갖는 3D NAND flash memory 전기적 특성 연구

In this paper, we investigated the threshold voltage (VT) dispersion and on-current in poly-GaAs used for a channel material in 3D NAND flash memory. Using simulation, stings of NAND flash memory with 12, 24, 36, and 48 cells were implemented and electrical properties were extracted. It is revealed that the on-current in poly-GaAs channel is larger than in poly-Si channel due to the difference in mobility. In addition, the VT dispersion tends to decrease as the numbers of stacked layers increase in case of poly-GaAs channel.

This paper was conducted to study the conditions for the manufacture and operation of artificial snow removal and ice-making test facilities so that the test equipment can be tested in a low-temperature environment using the polar environment performance test facility. The polar environment performance test Facility is designed to artificially simulate extreme environments up to -65 ℃, and is a mid-to-large low-temperature environment test facility that can perform performance tests on offshore plant equipment, ships, leisure, and offshore structures. To verify the safety of deck work of ships operating in polar environments, artificial snow removal and artificial ice making devices were manufactured, and we conducted research on various operating environments using these facilities. For the efficient operation of artificial snow and ice making facilities, it is important to continuously supply dry air, and it has been found that installing an additional heater at the tip of the nozzle is effective in preventing freezing.
경사 냉각판법에 의한 A356 알루미늄 반응고금속 제조와 성형특성

Semi-solid metal fabricated by a continuous casting apparatus characterized with the inclined cooling plate. The primary α size, aspect ratio and hardness of an A356 Al alloy was investigated. Crystal seeds of the primary α were believed to nucleate on the cooling plate. The seeds of primary crystal separated from the cooling plate were consider to result in a fine and equiaxed microstructures. The minimum size of primary α at 630℃ of pouring temperature was 65㎛ when using a BN coated cooling plate and 53㎛ in BN uncoated cooling plate. Primary α size and aspect ratio were increased with increasing isothermal holding time. Among the several steps of the semi-solid forging process, the heating step of the billet prior to semi-solid forging step is necessarily to obtain a globular microstructure. The microstructural variation of semi-solid A356 at various specimen heating temperatures and mould temperatures was also investigated.

Atlas Ci 4000 Weather-Ometer & GrretagMacbeth Color-Eye 7000A was used in order to simultaneously simulate and accelerate outdoor weatheing conditions for the evaluation of the outdoor durability of glass fiber/vinylester composites. The test mehod for monitoring the effect of artificial weathering included flexural strength measurement and colour difference. Clear crazing phenomena were not observed after long exposure to Weather-Ometer and also the mechanical properties were not decreased nearly by the Weather-Ometer and QUV exposure. The main reason to decrease UV effects has been characterized by using the UV stabilizer.
