A Study on Eco-friendly Sponge by Mixing Natural Polymer Resin and Polymer

In the industrial field, many researches are being conducted on the application of eco-friendly polymers using natural polymer materials that can be continuously supplied from nature and biodegradable polymer materials that can decompose themselves in nature when molded after being molded. In this study, composites were prepared by blending α-olefin-based EVA and eco-friendly biodegradable materials, which are generally used as foam foam materials, at a constant composition ratio. The prepared composite was molded by atmospheric foaming process. The tendency was analyzed by measuring the foam form and mechanical strength of the molded foam. By analyzing the internal particle state of the foam through SEM analysis, it was possible to analyze the foam molding form according to the blend ratio of the biodegradable material and the EVA-based material.

The aims of this study were to establish the effect of gender and age on number of fungiform papillae and electrogustometric thresholds of the tongue, and to determine the relation between number of fungiform papillae and electrogustometric threshold. Sixty-two healthy subjects of 20 to 39 years old were enrolled in this study. Examination areas were defined as center, anterior, left lateral, right lateral, and posterior on the dorsal surface of the tongue, which was stained with methylene blue dye and photographed with a scale bar on it. The number of fungiform papillae within $1\; cm^2$ square area of each examination site was counted twice. The counted values were averaged to produce means. Taste thresholds were measured three times on each examination area using an electrogustometer. Means of the threshold values were calculated. 1. The number of fungiform papillae was the largest at the anterior examination area, followed by right lateral, left lateral, posterior and central. Women had more fungiform papillae than men at anterior, right lateral, and center areas. Subjects in twenties showed more fungiform papillae than those in thirties at anterior, right lateral, and left lateral areas. 2. Anterior area of the tongue measured the lowest electrogustometric threshold, followed by left lateral, right lateral, posterior and center. The threshold was higher in men at anterior and right lateral areas. The subjects in thirties had higher threshold only at right lateral area than those in twenties. 3. Electrogustometric threshold was inversely correlated with the number of fungiform papillae at anterior and posterior areas. The results showed that the number of fungiform papillae and taste threshold varied according to tongue locus, and they were influenced by age and gender. The results also suggested that the number of fungiform papillae was related to electrogustometric threshold inversely.

There are several methods for shaping foams, but the most commonly used methods involve the use of resin mixed with a foaming agent, which is then foamed under high temperature and pressure in the case of compression foaming, or foamed under high temperature without applying pressure in the case of atmospheric foaming. The polymers used for foaming require design and analysis of optimal foaming conditions in order to achieve foaming under ambient pressure. Environmentally friendly bio-based polymers face challenges when it comes to foaming on their own, which has led to ongoing research in blending them with resins capable of traditional foam production. This study investigates changes in the characteristics of bio-based polymer-EVA blend foams based on variations in the content of bio-based polymers and explores the optimal foaming conditions according to crosslinking. The correlation between foaming characteristics and mechanical properties of the foams was examined. Through this research, we gained insights into how the content of bio-based polymers affects the properties of foams containing bio-based polymers and identified differences between ambient pressure and high-pressure foaming processes. Additionally, the feasibility of commercializing bio-based polymer-EVA composite foams was confirmed.

Distribution of zooplankton was studied based on the zooplankton samples from collected 15 stations in Deukryang Bay in July and September, 1992 and January and March, 1993. Zooplankton biomass $(mg/m^3)$ showed maximum in March and minimum in July, whereas abundance $(inds./m^3)$. showed maximum in September and minimum in March. Variation in biomass depended on changes in body size of Sagitta crassa. S. crassa of large body size resulted in high biomass in March. Noctiluca scintillans and copepods in September showed high abundance but low biomass. Species composition and abundance were closely related to seasonal variation of water temperature. Of the dominant zooplankton taxa, decapod larvae were predominant in July, copepods in September and January, and coelenterates 3n March. Three copepod species, Paracalanus indicus, Acartia pacifica and Pseudodiaptomus marinus were dominant in July and March, September, and January, respectively.

Tunnel blasting has been performed with V-cut to investigate the characteristics. Blasting vibrations were measured at two directions, the proceed direction and side direction. Propagation characteristics were determined by regression analysis; square root scaled distance and cube root scaled distance with maximum charge per delay of the blast. Testing result, The cross point was 62m in the allowable vibration velocity of 3mm/sec and 46m in 5mm/sec. Also, vibration level with measuring point was highest and decayed fastest, adapting to cube root scaled distance, for the proceed direction on ground.

Lately, there are a lot of buildings are built with earthquake-code design included. But in the instance of earthquakes, it is very effective in reaching the performance standard, but economically it will bring huge downside as it will destroy the building itself. Therefore researches are actively proceeded to reduce problems on the basis of anti-earthquake performance will not go down. This research will be using model buildings that are built with the dual system, from korean criteria for anti-earthquake, and this member model will be designed with the grounding of KOREAN BUILDING CODE AND COMMENTARY 2006. The designed model will be tested with pushover analysis and get data for power change due to displacement. also it will be evaluated with the capacity spectrum method which is one of the tools for anti-earthquake performance evaluation.

An ACC driving simulator is a virtual reality device which designed to test or evaluate vehicle control algorithm. It is designed and built based on the rapid control prototyping(RCP) concept. Therefore this simulator adopt RCP tools to solve the equation of a vehicle dynamics model and control algorithm in real tim, rendering engine to provide real-time visual representation of vehicle behavior and CAN communication to reduce networking load. It can provide also many different driving test environment and driving scenarios.

일반적인 히스토그램 기법은 용선과 골로 이뤄진 지문 영상을 개선하는 효과가 미미하다. 히스토그램 스트레칭 기법은 명암 분포를 확장하여 전체 영상의 명암을 확장시키며, 히스토그램 스트레칭은 국소적인 명암 개선 효과에 탁월하므로 지문 영상 개선에 적합하지 않다. 따라서, 이 논문에서는 지문 영상을 개선하기 위해 평균과 표준 편차를 이용한 방법을 제안한다.
