N/A We evaluated the usefulness of Tc-99m-HMPAO SPECT in 21 Patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage due to ruptured intracranial aneurysm and in 3 patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysm. SPECT study could detect the bilaterally hypoperfused cases in 10 patients(48%), but CT/MRI showed the bilateral abnormalities in only 3 patients(14%). The number of abnormal lesions were 56 in SPECT and 25 in CT/MRI. The lesions found in SPECT were well correlated with the neurological signs of the patients such as aphasia or hemiplegia. SPECT study during Matas test was helpful in evaluating the risk for carotid artery occlusion therapy. We thought that Tc-99m-HMPAO brain SPECT is helpful in evaluating the functional changes in patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage.

In automobile, the introduction of electronically commutated motors has been accompanied by a proliferation of electronic devices. with this proliferation of electronic devices, an emphasis has been placed on EMC issues. This paper is proposed to use SRM as a radiator cooling fan in automotive applications To drive SRM, Energy efficient C-dump converter is applied It is verified more efficient than other converters through simulation and experiments And also SRM is valid automotive applications that have strict EMC standards. It is compared SRM with BLDC and DC motor by experiments.<br/>

The construction accidents in temporary structures have ceaselessly happened and these mostly lead to serious disasters associated with public criticism. Recently, the accidents under construction due to incomplete or faulty design has repeatedly occurred such as the overturned girder accident in Jangnam Bridge, the submerged incident in Noryangjin and the slab collapse in Banghwa Bridge. In order to prevent such accidents due to the faulty design in temporary structures, it’s important to set up the solid construction management system which allows the reasonable design change if necessary. In this regard, this study provides the basic data for the reasonable design change in temporary structures by conducting a question investigation to the construction, design, and supervising companies. From the survey results, the kind and range of the temporary structures which should considers the design change were suggested by the deduced reasonable processes.

Acute renal failure is a grave complication in patients with intracranial lesions such as severe bead injuries, intracranial hemorrhage, and space occupying lesions. Experimental and clinical data have suggested that altered renal function can be occured by lesions of the brain through a mechanism of renal vasoconstriction. Recently we experienced three cases of acute renal failure in one patient with intracerebral hematoma and two patients with cerebral contusion. So we discussed the significance of this relationship.
