Design Tool을 이용한 음계 비례론의 건축실무 적용에 관한 연구

Throughout the architectural history, there has been a quest for a formal ordering-system that facilitates aesthetic requirements of a design. The specific formal ordering-systems such as axes, grids, symmetry, proportion, etc., can help to maintain unity, to avoid chaos and then to achieve harmony in a design. Of those, proportion systems have been considered as a basis for answering how harmony is achieved in an architectural design. In particular, harmonic proportions derived from musical scales played a central role in the minds and designs of Renaissance theorists and architects. In this paper, a new review of the musical proportion is provided and a design tool is proposed, which generates and evaluates on architectural designs, using the analytical proportion of music in a CAAD (Computer-Aided Architectural Design) system. This tool is implemented in the AutoCAD environment and is applied to the "Museum der Moderne" in Salzburg, Austria. In short, the proposed design tool shows a formal and explicit way to integrate an architectural theory into a CAAD system.

It is true that commercial applications used in architectural offices have mainly focused on CAD as a drafting tool, although primary functions of computers in architecture have been changed from computer-aided drafting to its 2D or 3D graphic representation and in recent years to the collaborative design among different specialists, such as architects, engineers, construction managers, acoustical experts, and so on. There are still few computer-aided tools to help a designer in selecting the best suited design strategies, in particular satisfying the design aesthetics, and in connecting the design up to the collaboration. This paper shows how architectural design rules, in particular architectural rhythm, can be joined into a CAAD system and how the data of the applied design can be integrated into product modeling environment, providing the appropriate solution to the upcoming needs of the construction industry.

BIM기반 설계도서 최적화 기준 및 적용기술은 BIM 환경구축에 필수적인 요소이다. 국내 건축사무소는 인허가 동의 행정절차를 위해 2D 설계도서를 추가로 작성하여 시간과 능률에서 많은 손실을 보고 있는 실정이며 따라서 도면 및 문서정보의 정보축적, 정보의 재활용에 어려움이 있다는 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 인허가용 설계도서 표현의 다양화, 복잡화로 인한 BIM 기반 설계도서 생산성 저하 및 오류발생을 해결하기 위해 정부주도의 BIM 설계도서 작성기준 및 견본도면/도서세트를 개발 보급하여 민간사의 BIM 발주 대응 능력을 향상시키고자 한다. 본 연구를 통해 도출되는 성과물은 다음과 같다. ? BIM 기반 표준설계도서 추출 및 연동 소프트웨어 Open BIM based construction document optimization standard and applied technology are essential elements in the construction of the BIM environment. It is reported that many domestic architecture firms have made a loss of more efficiency and time in creating additional 2D design documents for administrative procedures, such as licensing and etc. Consequently, it has a problem that there is difficulty in both storage and re-use of information of drawings and document information. In accordance with diversification and complexification in construction document for licensing. BIM based document also has decreasing productivity and error occurrence. Solving these problems, Government lead research and development (R&D), in BIM based optimized drawing standards and guidelines and in sample drawing and document-set in BIM standard document, is now in progress. As a result, it brings for private enterprise to improve the response capacity for BIM ordered construction. Outcomes that are derived in this study are as follows. ? This paper describes an automation of architectural design processes and the direction between this automation and robotic system in building construction using the concept of the object-oriented design in architecture. The research starts from the premise that many computer-aided design systems are mostly aimed at serving as drawing tools which are used only after a design formal solution has already been established by the architect. If the computer is well applied to the architectural design process, many positive things such as standardization of design detail, increasing productivity and collaboration, minimizing construction costs etc. can be done. To support an early design solution in the computer-based environment, the proposed automation was developed and tested in a real building project, using the object-oriented design concept such as product model. This design automation gives various design alternatives from the early design phase to the final stage of design details, according to musical harmony. This paper shows how architectural design process can be automated and how the data of the applied architectural design can be integrated into product model environment, in relation to robotic system in building construction.
건축적 조화를 위한 디자인 방법론 -유사성에 의한 통일성을 중심으로-

Architectural theories in western architecture have been considered as a basis for answering the fundamental questions of architectonics: proportion, symmetry, color, harmony and so on. Among those the architectural design theory is significant, since it affects the aesthetic evaluation of human perception. This paper gives an outline in applying the traditional design principles of architecture to contemporary architecture by 'unification through similarity' of architectural components such as form, scale, texture and color. As we see from this research, unification can be achieved in a design by the combination of the four components; that is, to balance between the four above-mentioned components in buildings, through the similarity of one or more of these components.
