        다환방향족탄화수소 (PAHs) 에 노출된 굴, Crassostrea gigas의 생리 반응 변화

        PAHs (Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons: PAHs) is the hydrophobic inorganic material composed of carbon and hydrogen that is easily adsorbed biological organisms in the ocean. Bivalves is the indicator of environment monitoring because of reflect growth, physiological response of bivalve followed their habitat environment. The aim of research is understand the change of oysters (Crassostrea gigas) physiological response under exposed PAHs concentration for control, 1, 10 and $100{\mu}g/L$. We investigated induced immune change response for oyster hemocyte and effect of tissue RNA/DNA ratio for mantle, gill and adductor muscle individually. As a result of experiment change of immune response the oyster hemocyte when exposed PAHs showed that viability and adhesion is no significant difference (ANOVA test, p < 0.05). However phagocytosis decreased under the over $10{\mu}g/L$ of PAHs concentration and ROS increased with the increase of PAHs concentration. The change of RNA/DNA ratio is R/D ratio decreased with the increase of PAH concentration in adductor muscle. However gill and mantle showed no change of R/D ratio with PAHs concentration. The oysters when exposed inorganic pollutant that decreased of physiological condition and damaged protein synthesis of adductor muscle.

        중성어혈 약침치료를 병행한 요골신경마비 환자 치험 4례

        Objectives: This study was to investigate the clinical effect of additional Jungsongouhyul Pharmacopuncture on radial nerve palsy patients. Methods & Results: The patients were hospitalized or outpatients in Department of traditional korean medical hospital, Dongshin University from 28th, Oct. 2009 to 25th, Aug, 2010. All patients were treated by additional Jungsongouhyul Pharmacopuncture. To evaluate the wrist drop and numbness of fingers, coding result, Verbal numerical scale (VNS) were used. As the result, symptoms are improved remarkably according to improvement of coding result, VNS score. Conclusions: Patients were treated during 3.5 weeks in average. All cases were excellent results by additional Jungsongouhyul Pharmacopuncture. But further studies are required to investigate exact effects.

        가미통성산(加味通聖散)이 자발성 고혈압 흰쥐에 미치는 영향

        Objective : This study was examined to investigate the effect of Gamitongseong-san(GTS) extract on spontaneous hypertension. Methods : After administering GTS extract to SHR for 4 weeks, we measured anti-oxygen effects, weight of body, heart and kidney, blood pressure, heart rate, aldosterone, catecholamine, electrolyte, uric acid, and BUN. Results : 1. GTS increased 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl(DPPH) scavenging activity and superoxide dismutase(SOD) similar activity depending on the concentration. 2. GTS significantly decreased heart weight in spontaneously hypertensive rat. 3. GTS significantly decreased blood pressure and heart rate in SHR. 4. GTS significantly decreased aldosterone. 5. GTS significantly decreased norepinephrine and epinephrine. 6. GTS significantly decreased $K^+$. 7. GTS significantly decreased BUN. Conclusions : These results suggest that GTS may be usefully applied for the treatment of hypertension.

      • 다변량분석법을 활용한 농업용 저수지 수질유형분류

        In order to manage the water quality in reservoir, it is necessary to understand the temporal and spatial variation of reservoirs and to classify the reservoirs. In this research, agricultural reservoirs are classified according to physical characteristics (depth, residence time, shape of the reservoir etc) and water quality using multivatriate analysis (PCA and CA). CA (Cluster Analysis) method classify reservoirs into several groups as a similarity of the reservoirs, but it is difficult to indicate a full list to the one table. In case of PCA (Principle Component Analysis) method, it has the advantage for the classification on the reservoirs depending on the water quality similarity and also it is useful to analyze the relationship between related factors through correlation analysis. However PCA is limited to classify into several groups based on the characteristics of the reservoirs and each user should be classified as randomly subjective according to the relative position of the reservoir in the figure. In conclusions, compared to conventional reservoirs classification methods, both CA and PCA methods are considered to be a classification method that describes the nature of the reservoir well, but classification results has a restriction on use, so further research will be needed to complement.

      • 농업용저수지 수질인자간 상관성 및 획귀분석

        In order to effectively manage the reservoir, reservoir water quality management should be based on physicochemical and configurational characteristics. In this research, correlation between factors affecting the reservoir water quality was examined. Chl-a and COD shows the highest positive correlation. Chl-a and T-P also has a high positive correlation, however Chl-a and T-N show lower correlation relatively. Even though T-N is an important factor for phytoplankton growth which increase Chl-a concentration, corelation of Ch1-a and T-N shows that enough nitrogen in the reservoir isn't no longer limiting factor. The age of reservoir can cause of increasing COD and SS. Embankment height and elevation of reservoirs shows strong negative correlation to water quality. That means reservoir which is higher embankment height and locate in higher elevations is less contaminated. Regression expression was derived with Chl-a and water quality parameters, and height of reservoir. Finally Chl-a was simulated using regression expression and it was a good approach to predict the Chl-a concentration.

        Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis(ALS) is Motor Neuron Disease(MND) that reveals muscle relaxation, bulbar palsy, extremities weakness, Pneumonia, in severe case, leads to death. Objectives : Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis is one of the incurable disease. In Oriental medicine, Wei symptom is similar as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, so we diagnosed it as Wei symptom and treated in Oriental medical system. Methods : The patient was treated by acupunture, moxibustion, herb medication, physical treatment. The improvement of the patient was judged by Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Functional Rating Scale (ALSFRS), Grasping power on right arm, circumference of thigh and calf. Result : The patient had better condition for a while but the sputum irritated breathing and the day before he discharged vital sign was not stable and could not breath well. Conclusion : It is necessary to have more examination about the incurable syndromes such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, and keep the patient's life better and expand their lives.

        Optimization of Operation Conditions for Improving the Nitrogen Removal Efficiency in Wastewater Treatment Plant

        네덜란드 브리젠빈 하폐수처리장 최종방류수의 $NH_4$-N 및 TN(Total Nitrogen)농도를 방류수 수질기준인 각각 4 mg/L와 10 mg/L에 맞추기 위한 최적의 운전조건을 도출하기 위해 다양한 제어시스템이 시뮬레이션 되었다. 본 연구에 사용된 모델은 IWA(International Water Association) 활성슬러지 모델 No.1 (ASM No.1)이었고, GPS-X가 시뮬레이터로 사용되었다. 모델링을 위한 매개변수 민감도 분석결과 ASM No.1의 총 19개 매개변수 중 8개 변수 ($Y_H$, ksh, koh, $b_H$, ${\mu}_a$, $k_{NA}$, kh, ka)가 방류수 수질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었고 이들 매개변수에 대해 보정을 수행하여 사용하였다. SRT, 호기/무산소기간, 외부탄소원 주입시간 변화에 따른 방류수질 변화를 시뮬레이션하였는데, 호기/무산소 11h/1h인 조건에서 SRT가 20일에서 25일로 증가되면 $NH_4$-N가 5.0 mg/L에서 2.9 mg/L로 감소되었고 호기/무산소 2h/1h의 조건에서는 SRT증가에 따라 $NH_4$-N은 큰 감소를 보이지만, 바이패스되는 유입수량의 감소로 탈질율이 낮아 방류수 TN이 11.1~11.5 mg/L로 예측되는 결과가 도출되었다. 탈질율을 높이기 위한 아세트산 주입은 동일한 양의 아세트산을 무산소 전기간 (1h)동안 균일 주입하는 것 보다는 무산소 초기 15분내에 주입하는 것이 효율적인 것으로 나타났다.

        한국형 낙상 위험 사정도구의 타당성 평가연구

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test the predictive validity of the Fall Assessment Scale-Korean version (FAS-K) and to find the most appropriate cutoff score to screen high-risk fall groups in adult patients in general hospitals in Korea. Methods: We performed a prospective evaluation study in medical and surgical ward patients at two major general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected from Nov. 1, 2018 to Feb. 28, 2019, nurses performed 651 observation series. The researcher measured the fall risk assessment score by applying FAS-K, MFS (Morse Fall Scale), and JHFRAT (Johns Hopkins Hospital Fall Risk Assessment tool) to the patients twice a week between 10 am and 12 noon. Data were analyzed using Pearson's corelation coefficients, and the sensitivity, specificity, predictive value, and the area under the curve (AUC) of the three tools. Results: The FAS-K was positively correlated with the MFS (r=.70, p<.001) and the JHFRAT (r=.82, p<.001). According to the receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve analysis of the FAS-K, sensitivity, specificity, and positive and negative prediction values were 85.3%, 49.4%, 8.5%, and 98.4%, respectively, when the FAS-K score was 4. Therefore, the cut-off score of the FAS-K to identify groups with high fall risk was 4. Conclusion: The FAS-K is a valid tool for measuring fall risk in adult inpatients. In addition, the FAS-K score, 4, can be used to identify high-risk fall groups and know specific points in time to provide active interventions to prevent falls.

      • 논문 - 바이오가스화 도입을 위한 양돈농가 가축분뇨 발생 및 특성분석

        The 21 livestock farms considering future installation of biogas systems were studied. These farms were examined how to raise the livestock, to treat manure, to operate facility with respect to manure characteristics. The 15 farms out of 21 farms have applied to the marine dumping and consignment treatment for treating manure and even farms which have equipped liquid fertilizing system have less capacity facility than legal standards. Characteristics of manure were affected by the scale of swine barn, clean water usage, frequency of cleaning, cleaning method, feces-urine separating method, etc. Retention time in storage (over 20 days) has resulted in lower concentration of organic matter which could reduce biogas production. This indicates that systematic barn management system is required. Inhibition tests showed that disinfectant and citric acid did not affected digestion rates at 10 times higher concentration than recommendation. However hypochlorous acid is likely to affect the anaerobic microbial activity.

        지역단위 미이용 바이오매스 발생량 추정

        This study was carried out to evaluation of biomass generation mechanisms and to propose the estimation method of biomass generation. Agricultural by-product biomass is generated during crops cultivation and after harvest. However these are not uniformly generated yearly and these depending on the seasons. For planning of biomass utilization, accurate information of the biomass resources is needed, especially characteristic and productivity of biomass are necessary. Agricultural by-product biomass are generated in a wide area being scattered and it is one of the major reason why agricultural biomass utilization is not activated compared with other waste biomass. In this study, estimation and evaluation biomass generation is achieved in specific spatial and temporal boundary, A-city in Gyeongi-do and september to November respectively. Quantity and quality of by-product biomass show big difference depending on the crop species and cultivation periods and these difference bring up that accurate biomass estimation should be considered during planning of biomass utilization and technology selecting for biomass converting to energy and other forms.
