The purpose of this study was to examine the determinants of job crafting among government offices, financial institutions, non-profit foundations and private companies located in Gangwon province, South Korea. The data were obtained by questionnaire from a sample of 458 members. The results of the study were as followed: First, leader-member exchange(LMX) is positively related to job crafting in three sub-dimensions that is, task crafting, relational crafting, cognitive crafting. Second, work overload is postively related to relational crafting but isn’t related to task crafting and cognitive crafting. Third, job autonomy is postively related to relational crafting but isn’t related to task crafting and cognitive crafting. Fourth, proactive personality is positively related to task crafting, relational crafting and cognitive crafting. Based on the results, implications of these findings, limitations, and the recommendation of future studies were discussed.
