In this paper, a novel compact broadband dual frequency microstrip antenna is presented. The meander type patch has been designed to have dual resonant frequencies, and the ground with slot was employed to expand the bandwidth in WCDMA band. The simulated results were obtained using HFSS, and the measurement on the proposed antenna was conducted in an anechoic chamber equipped with a network analyzer and a far field measurement system. As a result, measured maximum gain of antenna is 2.07~2.87 dBi in the GSM band and 3.91~5.61 dBi in the WCDMA band.

This paper describes the design of single body type repeater antenna for isolation enhancement between donor and receptor antennas. The antenna system consists of cavity, triangular patch antenna and cavity reflector. The antenna satisfies return-loss and isolation specifications in the desired band while the broadside gain is a little bit short from the spec.

This paper presents an analysis of microwave device component. An H-Plane waveguide component with arbitrary shape is analyzed using finite element method (FEM) cooperated with boundary element method(BEM). The finite element method (FEM) is applied to the junction region and the boundary element method(BEM) to the waveguide region. For the application of BEM in the waveguide structure, a ray representation of the waveguide Green's function is used. The proposed technique was applied to the analysis of the waveguide inductive junction to compare the numerical result with the result of the mode matching technique. The comparison showed good agreements between the two results. Transmitted powers were also computed in T-junction waveguides for the various shape of the junction area.

본고에서는 먼저 모멘트법(MoM)을 도입하기 위해 기본적인 수학적 개념을 다루었고 이로부터 모멘트법을 소개하였다. 다음으로 정전장에서 어떻게 적용되는지를 알아보기 위해 단일 도체판에 대해 모멘트법을 적용하여 전하분포와 캐패시턴스를 계산하였따. 전자파에서 적용을 알아보기 위해 short dipole 안테나[13]를 해석하였다. 논의를 간단히 하기 위해 point matching법[14]을 사용하였다.

This letter presents a measurement methodology of the complex permittivity of liquid using a partially open cavity in narrow band. The partially open cavity (POC) can measure dielectric small changes caused by the temperature variation of the liquid inside the cavity as well. Using the resonance frequency and unloaded quality factor of the proposed POC, the complex permittivity is evaluated. The apertures on the walls of the cavity are designed to circulate the liquid inside to outside of the POC and located at the corner area of the cavity to minimize the disturbance of field distribution at the dominant mode. The results measured by the proposed POC were compared with those by the conventional open-ended probe and Cole-Cole equation. The POC showed better performance in measuring small dielectric constant changes than the open-ended probe.
선형배열안테나에서 LSMI알고리즘을 이용한 저부엽 적응빔 형성

적응형 빔형성(Adaptive Beamforming) 방식은 원하는 사용자 신호 대 간섭 신호의 비를 최대화하도록 사용자의 위치에 따라서 가중치(Weighting)를 계속 갱신하는 방법이다. 적응형 알고리즘을 통하여 간섭신호의 방향을 추정하는 동시에 간섭신호의 영향을 최소화하는 빔형성을 할 수 있다. 동시에 좁은 빔폭과 낮은 부엽(Sidelobe level)세기를 만족 시키는 Taylor 가중치를 적응형 알고리즘의 가중치와 함께 적용하여 보다 낮은 부엽세기를 갖는 빔형성을 한다면 재머(Jammer)나 클러터(Clutter)에 대한 영향을 최소화 할 수 있다.

By noticing that most waveguide devices were connected to power source through coaxial line, three dimentional finite element analysis using TEM mode incident was tried. When tEM mode was used, being dissimilar to TE$_{10}$ mode incident, analysis model of TEM mode incident has almost the same geometry with real products. Therefore, the degree of trust about analysis result is improved. Reflection coefficients of coaxial line, W/G adaptor, magnetron obtained by simulation was compared with experimental results.
