6ㆍ25이후, 서구의 실존주의 사상이 본격적으로 도입되면서 논의되기 시작한 참여와 순수의 논쟁. 사회를 의식하여 반영해야 한다는 참여, 현실의 반영보다는 읽는 이에게 감동을 주어야 한다는 순수. 이들 중 어느쪽이 더 정당하고, 어느쪽이 더 부당하다는 것은 잘못된 견해이다. 또한 일반적으로 시라 하면 순수시를 꼽고, 참여시는 마치 시의 큰 범주의 아류인 것으로 또는 특수부류의 대변으로서의 시로 인식하는 것도 잘못된 생각이다. 문학은 작가가 당대를 살아가면서 경험하고 상상한 것을 언어라는 매개를 통해 자신의 인식체계를 구조화한 것이다. 그러기에 문학의 속성에는 의미전달기능과 감동을 주는 기능을 모두 지니고 있다. 순수시라 하여 의미전달기능이 전혀 없지 않으며 참여시라 하여 감동이 전혀 없지 않다. 이는 흔히 순수시라 일컫는「진달래꽃」에서는 인간은 영원한 자연을 지향한다는 의미를 전달하고 있고 참여시라 일컫는「껍데기는 가라」에서는 시인의 의도처럼 마음의 동요를 느낄 수 있음에서도 이러한 사실은 확인된다. 단지 두시는 앞서 보았듯 추구하는 세계가 달라서 그에 따른 화자와 독자에게 수반되는 행동이 달랐던 것이다. 그 결과 문학의 두 기능 중에서「진달래꽃」은 감동을 주는 기능에,「껍데기는 가라」는 의미 전달기능에 더욱 비중을 두었던 것으로 보인다. 따라서 두 시인의 많은 공통점에도 시인이 각기 추구하는 세계의 차이로 인하여 순수와 참여의 구분을 두어야 한다고 생각된다.

옻씨 추출물의 항산화 활성과 옻씨 추출물을 첨가한 발효유의 품질특성

This study was carried out to investigate the quality characteristics of fermented milk containing Rhus verniciflua seed (RVS) extracts (0.0%, 0.1%, 0.3% and 0.5%) and antioxidant activity of RVS extracts. The proximate composition of RVS was moisture (4.76%), crude ash (1.40%), crude fat (5.33%) and crude protein (11.10%). A total polyphenol content of 70% ethanol extract of RVS (554±2.64 mg/g) was higher than that of RVS water extract (145±3.47 mg/g). 70% ethanol extract (1103±6.42 mg/g) of RVS showed higher content in the total flavonoids (37±2.30 mg/g) and activities on DPPH free radical scavenging (73.23%) and ABTS free radical scavenging (83.47%) when compared with water extracted of RVS. The quality characteristics, such as pH, titratable acidity, and the number of lactic acid producing bacteria were not remarkably different between the fermented milk samples subjected to treatments with and without the addition of RVS extracts.

볶은 옻씨를 첨가한 차 음료의 품질특성 및 저장 중 산화방지 활성의 변화량 측정

본 연구는 옻씨의 볶음 시간을 선정함으로써 관능적 특성을 분석하고, 볶은 옻씨를 함유한 차 음료를 제조하여 품질특성을 조사하였다. 또한, 저장기간에 따른 항산화활성 변화를 알아보고자 저장 온도(4, 25 및 40oC)를 달리하여 28일간 저장하면서 7일 간격으로 항산화 활성을 측정하여 저장시 발생할 수 있는 변화를 살펴보았다. 차 음료를 제조하고자 기호도 조사를 통하여 가장 높은 점수를 받은 15분 볶은 옻씨로 결정되었다. 선정된 볶음군을 함유한 차 음료에 대한 pH는 A 차 음료는 7.12, B 차 음료는 7.21, C 차 음료는 7.20, D 차 음료는 7.38로 나타났다. 당도는 모든 차 음료에 대하여 0.1-0.2oBx의 범위로 나타났다. L값은 A 차 음료는 16.90, B 차 음료는 17.62, C 차 음료는 18.85, D차 음료는 18.96로 나타났고, a값은 A 차 음료는 −0.12, B 차 음료는 −0.45, C 차 음료는 −0.22, D 차 음료는 −1.17로 나타났으며 b값은 A 차 음료는 8.84, B 차 음료는 7.45, C 차 음료는 6.03, D 차 음료는 6.40으로 옻씨 자체의 색이 엷은 적갈색을 보이며 옻씨의 추출물 색으로 가까운 황색을 나타낸 A 차 음료가 가장 비슷한 값을 나타내었다. 또한, 관능검사를 통하여 맛과 전체적인 바람직성에서 A 차 음료가 높은 점수로 평가되어졌다. A차 음료에 대하여 저장 중 총 폴리페놀 및 총 플라보노이드 함량 변화는 시간이 경과함에 따라 조금 감소하였다가 증가하였지만 초기값과 비교시 비슷한 값을 나타내었다. 저장기간과 온도에 따라 관계없이 비슷한 값을 나타내어 항산화력도 높을 것으로 보인다. 저장 중 DPPH 라디칼 및 ABTS 라디칼 소거활성은 저장기간이 길어질수록 큰 변화가 없었으며 초기값과 비교시 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 저장 중 미생물학적 안전성 검사에서는 모든 시료에서 미생물이 검출되지 않아 저장 안전성을 유지하는 것으로 나타났다. While manufacturing blended tea, the temperature for pan-firing Rhus verniciflua seed (RVS) is important. The pan-firing duration was fixed to 15 minutes according to a sensory test. We then prepared four types of blended teas with varied ratios of RVS; all the four types showed similar pH, oBx, and hunter’s color values with no significant difference. According to the sensory test, A-type tea blended with RVS was the most preferred. The antioxidant activity of A-type blended tea was evaluated during storage. The changes in the total polyphenol, total flavonoid, and antioxidant activity by DPPH and ABTS assays were monitored during storage at 4, 25, and 40oC for 28 days. After 28 days of storage, values for total polyphenol content, total flavonoid content, and antioxidant activity were similar to the initial values. Moreover, microbial growth was not observed during that period.

옻나무-두충추출혼합물(ILF-RE)의 간기능 개선에 대한 유효성 및안전성을 평가하기 위한 무작위배정 이중눈가림 인체적용시험

Objectives:The purpose of this study is to determine whether Rhus verniciflua Stokes with Latin name Lacca Sinica Exsiccata, and Eucommia ulmoides Oliver with Latin name Eucommiae Cortex Extract Combination (ILF-RE) improves laboratory test results in participants with liver function disorder. Methods:This study was conducted at Woosuk university Korean medicine hospital where participants with high serum alanine transaminase (ALT) levels from 45 to 135 U/L were enrolled. Subjects received ILF-RE 3.6 g (1.2 g/day as ILF-RE) or placebo 3.6 g for 12 weeks. It was confirmed that urushiol was not detected in ILF-RE. The primary outcomes were the decrement degree of serum ALT and gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) levels between two groups. The secondary outcomes were the decrement degree of serum aspartate transaminase (AST), alkaline phosphatase (ALP), lactate dehydrogenase (LD), total bilirubin, total cholesterol, triglyceride (TG) and fatty liver index (FLI) levels between two groups. Adverse events, skin prick tests, laboratory tests, and vital signs were observed and analyzed to confirm the safety of ILF-RE. Results:In the ILF-RE group, the liver function index ALT, GGT, lipid metabolism index TG, and fatty liver index FLI were significantly decreased compared to the placebo group. There was no significant difference in ILF-RE group in terms of adverse events, severe adverse events, skin prick test, laboratory test, and vital signs compared with placebo group. Conclusions:ILF-RE was found to be effective in improving liver function. In addition, no clinically significant adverse events or body changes were observed during this study.

Background : Angelica acutiloba is a perennial herb from the family Umbelliferous. The root was used as a substitute for the crude drug. As a by-product of making cheese from whey, it has many proteins and nutritional components, but it has a drawback in that it must be stored in a refrigerator because the storage facility is short. In order to solve such problems, an attempt is made to solve the environmental and economic problems by producing a liquid fertilizer fermented with a large amount of whey. Methods and Results : In this study, we studied the fermentation of wheat germ with lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus brevis) and yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae). The preliminary experiment was conducted to determine the test concentration of 300 fold dilution and 500 fold dilution. As a result, the application of 300 times dilution liquid prepared by fermentation of whey using lactic acid bacteria showed higher growth and higher growth rate with higher number of leaves and branches. Growth response of the 500 fold dilution was higher than that of the control, but the growth of 300 fold dilution showed the highest. Conclusion : Therefore, it is considered that the 300 fold dilution of Lactobacillus can be used as a substitute for compost when cultivating medicinal plants.
