Purpose: Advances in modern ultrasonography combined with a dimercaptosuccinic acid(DMSA) renal scan have permitted the diagnosis of a multicystic dysplastic kidney(MCDK) with a high degree of certainty. Most multicystic dysplastic kidneys undergo spontaneous involution during follow-up, as demonstrated by serial ultrasonography. The purpose of this study was to contribute to a better understanding of the natural history of a MCDK, and suggest guidelines for follow-up of a MCDK. Materials and Methods: Between November 1988 and May 2004, 142 children with a MCDK were diagnosed at our institute. A retrospective data analysis was carried out on 38 patients who were conservatively managed and followed for more than 6 months. Follow up ultrasonography examinations were performed every 6 months until patients were 5 years old, and annually thereafter. Patients were divided into simple and complex MCDK based on postnatal physical examination and renal ultrasonography. A simple MCDK was defined as unilateral renal dysplasia without genitourinary abnormalities. Complex MCDK included patients with unilateral renal dysplasia, but with other genitourinary abnormalities. Results: The follow-up periods ranged from 6 to 76 months, with a median of 21.5 months. Partial and complete involution of the affected kidney was observed in 6(15.8%) and 8(21.1%) patients, respectively. There was no significant difference in the median involution time between the groups. The median time to involution in all patients was 36 months. Conclusions: Conservative management for a MCDK appears to be a safe option. Because of a complex MCDK has a high incidence of UTI, prophylactic antibiotics may be required. We recommend the long-term follow-up of a MCDK using ultrasonography monitoring.
GPS, Galileo 위성항법시스템 환경에서의 이온층 신호지연 보정

위성항법 이온층 신호지연은 L밴드 항법신호가 이온층을 통과하면서 자유 전자들에 의해 굴절이 일어나기 때문에 발생하는 현상으로 항법신호를 이용한 위치 결정 시 가장 큰 오차요인으로 작용하고 있다. 평상시는 약 수 m에 이르는 오차를 발생시키지만 불규칙한 태양활동 및 지자기 폭풍 등의 영향으로 이온층 변화가 급격히 변화할 경우 곳에 따라 위치오차가 수십 m에 이르게 하는 경우도 있다. 이러한 이온층 신호지연은 이중 주파수를 사용할 경우 대부분 보정할 수 있지만 단독 주파수 수신기를 이용하는 다수의 사용자의 경우 별도의 이온층 신호지연 예측모델이 요구된다. GPS의 Klobuchar 모델과 Galileo의 NeQuick 모델이 대표적인 예이다. 현재까지 NeQuick 모델이 상대적으로 정확한 것으로 알려져 있으나 이온층 상태가 불안정한 상태에서는 오히려 Klobuchar 모델이 보다 더 나은 추정 성능을 보이기도 한다. 본 논문에서는 앞서 언급한 Klobuchar 모델과 NeQuick 모델에 대해 실측 데이터를 기반으로 시간적 변화 경향 및 추정 성능을 비교하고 두 모델의 장점을 살린 선형 결합한 새로운 모델을 제안한다. The ionospheric delay is the major current source of potential range delay for single frequency GNSS users. Therefore, single frequency GNSS users are in most need of an ionospheric model to eliminate the ionospheric delay to a high degree of accuracy. In this paper, we propose the novel linear combination based ionospheric delay estimation model to improve the performance of GPS Klobuchar model and Galileo NeQuick model.

This study examined the effects of the system operator’s franchise on the realization of locality by broadcasting. It investigated how the issues of weakening of the meaning of franchise resulting from the development of digital technology, the replacement of the functions of local channel service based on franchise, provision of lower value of local channel contents and providing same service to a local channel zone were actually carried out in reality. According to the results, although wideband broadcasting services such as the Internet and satellite broadcasting were spreading it was necessary to invigorate small district-based broadcasting services on the basis of the franchise of cable broadcasting for the realization of locality by broadcasting. Even when local terrestrial broadcasting, local newspaper and local internet media existed in a district, they could not replace the local service of cable broadcasting. Although the services provided by cable broadcasting in a district were not fully satisfying for viewers, the services were found to realize the value of locality in the market-oriented and center-oriented media market. Cable broadcasting provided the same service as its competitors, satellite broadcasting and IPTV, but the local service based on franchise could be hardly defined as the same service as it was different. These results found that the realization of locality by broadcasting is the value which cannot be given up among the values aimed and sought by broadcasting.
노인의 운동 정보 컨텐츠 선호 현황 및 운동 문해력 관련 요인 분석

[PURPOSE] The purpose of this study was to investigate the preference for exercise information in the elderly. We also analyzed physical literacy related factors. [METHODS] Face-to-face survey and exercise performance evaluation were conducted by trained investigator. The subjects in this study were 289 people aged 65 to 79 years, living in Seoul. Statistical analysis has been operated by SPSS [RESULTS] The subjects preferred the form in which text, numeric data, and diagrams were presented together as a type of exercise information. For examples of action, photographs, Asian, and young women were the most preferred information to conduct exercise. We examined physical literacy related factors using multiple regression model. The final regression model was shown that age(β=-0.269, p<0.000), educational level(high: β=0.220, p<0.001; college or higher: β=0.159, p=0.009), understanding of terms(β=0.118, p<0.042), interest of excercise information(β=0.191, p<0.013) was significantly associated with physical literacy in the elderly. [CONCLUSIONS] The present study suggests that excercise information for elderly has to consider the elderly. preference and degree of difficulty for better understanding
