The Dance magazine, Monthly Choom is a eading specialist magazine in Korea. Monthly Choom commemorates its 40th anniversary in 2015. Cho Dong-Hwa, the founding publisher of Monthly Choom who published the magazine every month since its foundation, passed away on April 22, 2014 at the age of 92. Cho Dong-Hwa shared his fate with Korea's history of publication and of specialist magazines through Monthly Choom. To hold up its founding mottos, ‘intellectualization of dance’ and ‘consolidation of social prestige of dance,’ Monthly Choom opened an era of professional dance criticism in Korea and pivoted efforts to sophisticate, intellectualize, and record Korean dance. Above all, Cho Dong-Hwa produced first generation dance critics through Monthly Choom, emphasizing the magazine's role as a specialist magazine that commences an age of culture criticism in Korea. This research analyzes how an indigent individual sustained a specialist magazine for 40 years in the dance world, a market void of an advertising market.

Due to the change in the educational environment caused by the worldwide spread of COVID-19, all non-face-to-face lectures were conducted. As non-face-to-face education is recognized as a representative type of education, the importance of non-face-to-face learning is expected to grow even more in the post-corona era. Online non-face-to-face lectures have many advantages in terms of temporal and spatial convenience, flexibility, efficiency of knowledge transfer, reduction of education costs, and alleviation of inequality in educational opportunities; however, it still has a weak aspect to promote social competence through interaction-based communication or experiential learning. On the other hand, it will be difficult to strengthen the critical thinking skills, communication and collaboration skills that talents in the era of the 4th revolution need to have through offline, face-to-face lectures that deliver knowledge mainly based on existing textbooks. In this respect, interest in blended learning, a lecture type that can supplement the limitations of the existing face-to-face classes and the inherent limitations of non-face-to-face classes, is increasing. Therefore, in order to explore the use of blended learning in flipped learning-based discussion lectures, this study takes the “Social Responsibility and Business Ethics” lecture as an example and analyzed the characteristics and the constituent factors of flipped learning-based blended learning lectures with ADDIE model. Giving autonomy over face-to-face or non-face-to-face participation methods to students participating in lectures as participants or panelists was judged to be an important factor for designing effective blended learning lectures. In the case of difficulties in participating in a lecture in real time, it has been shown that there are advantages in the aspect that the LMS is activated by providing an alternative to check the discussion contents using the recorded materials shared in the LMS lecture data room and to share opinions or related materials in the discussion room. In addition, when designing blended learning, it would be desirable to conduct the evaluation in a direction that can reduce the burden on students by considering various aspects of evaluation such as fairness, diversity, and autonomy. The average lecture evaluation score of the four lectures in which the flipped learning-based discussion lectures were conducted non-face-to-face was 92.6, which was higher than the lecture evaluation score of the five lectures in which the same lecture was conducted face-to-face which was 90.1. Despite the difficulties and limitations of non-face-to-face discussions, it is inferred that students are satisfied with the non-face-to-face discussion lectures using Zoom, and the satisfaction and support of the lectures are high compared to the existing face-to-face lectures. These results can be used as useful information to find a design method for blended learning. The discussion in this study is developed with a specific lecture at a specific university as a case, and thus, it is difficult to generalize the presented model to all lectures regardless of major or lecture type. However, it is of great significance in that respect of suggesting the efficient and useful university lecture model in the post-corona era. It is expected that the results of this study can be systematically used to study the educational model that reflects changes in the educational environment from a convergence point of view and to seek alternatives.

Consumer damages have been rapidly increasing as the kinds of financial investment become various and derivative securities are increasing owing to the development of financial engineering. Derivative securities have been developed with complex profit structures calculated from financial engineering perspectives. Since similar kinds of items are developed and circulated worldwide almost at the same time, the types of consumer damages tend to be very similar. In Korea, there have been several incidents of consumer damage including close manipulation incident(2009), KIKO (2010), damaging consumers many times due to unfair transaction related with derivatives as well as ELS(Equity-Linked Securities) related ones. This study analysed the level of understanding of financial products, investment goals, the expectation level for product explanation, and regulation measures through focus group interviews with 13 consumers purchasing ELS products. The goals of this research are to analyse what is the better way of information offering to financial consumers and judge the effectiveness of current information offering with mandatory explanation. The research result showed that the contents and order of prospectus are organized to induce investment by evaluating the danger of ELS investment low rather than offering neutral and understandable information systematically. Consumers are surveyed to want to know the essential information: expected earnings rate, loss degree of risk, statistics of loss estimation by empirical result, and fees, which should be appropriate for consumer``s eye level. The amount of information should be considered for financial consumers and the processing of information for the actual application of consumers should be considered as an important factor, resulting in the enhancement of financial consumers`` competence. Regulations for the products and investment organizations and duties of them are necessarily essential, while related law-making, amendments, and the reinforcement of the efforts of supervisory organizations are also required. This study could be used as baseline data for practical and effective information offering model, which could evaluate the effectiveness of current information offering for financial consumers and enhance their financial literacy.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the impact of the married women`s employment on household expenditures for time-saving services based on the review of the household production approach to consumer demand by Becker. The data was collected with a questionnaire in 1997 and the sample of this study consisted of 397 married women which was selected from Seoul and metropolitan area considering age and work status. The review of literature in this research suggested that the expenditures of time saving services were specified as a function of labor income, nonlabor income, hours of market work of the homemaker, the education and the age of homemaker, household size, household composition and homeownership. The empirical specification was measured by tobit and a simultaneous system was adopted by using hours of homemaker`s market work as an instrumental variable. Most of these variables showed signifiacnt effects on the expenditures for time-saving services although there were differences across the models. In addition, total market response is more likely to be explained by the entry and exit of households into the time-saving services market, than by the extent to which households use such services.

The purpose of this research was to introduce the method on the utilization of linear programming into the model of family resource management. Although various problems to set up mathematical model for family resource management can be considered, there are many family resource decision situations to which mathematical models may be fruitfully applied. Within this context, this research provided several examples chosen to represent a few family decision-making situations which lend themselves to mathematical analysis. For this purpose, linear programming which is a mathematical procedure for determinig optimal allocation of scarce resources was utilized. This exercise provided useful experience in applying managerial concepts of fmaily resource amangement model in practical situation and an interactive framework that facilitates discussions of linear porgramming, family resource management behavior, and mathematical application.
