The purpose of this study is to explore a difference in crisis between media and parties. This research examined political crisis situation, crisis response, and media coverage using a case. Two main political parties in Korean faced the illegal fund raising case during the 16th presidential election. They used types of crisis response strategies for restoring or maintaining their reputation. This study found that a party's crisis response was consistent with news media, but another party's message was significantly different from news media. Such match or mismatch between a party and news media will influence on public evaluation toward a crisis response. This study has meaningful contribution in that the difference between an organizational crisis response message and news media coverage is significant.

The Influence of Social Identification and Persistent Communication Activities on Interpersonal Trust in the Virtual Community

The current study investigated how interpersonal trust is developed in online communities, where most of individual identities are unknown or doubtful. To better understand and theorize the underlying mechanism, a survey was conducted integrating the literature on computer-mediated communication (CMC) and extending previous research on social identify model. The findings confirmed that integrity, benevolence, and openness are essential components in the concept of trustworthiness, which is predicted by social identification and persistency of communication activities in the virtual community.

Clipping 기반의 무선 인터넷 사이트 구축용 변환 서버 구현

현재 유선 인터넷 컨텐츠와 비교할 때 무선 인터넷 컨텐츠가 크게 부족하여 유선 컨텐츠들을 무선 인터넷 컨텐츠로 변환시키고자 하는 요구가 높다. 본 연구의 변환 서버는 사용자 단말기로부터 요청을 자동적으로 인식하여 대상 URL 서버상의 원본 문서를 검색하여 이들을 중간 언어인 metaXML 문서로 생성하고 이를 사용자 단말기에 적합한 무선 마크업 언어 문서로 변환 출판한다. 또한, 본 변환 서버는 이미지 변환을 위하여 이미지 변환기와 기존 웹 페이지들의 재구성 저작 도구인 Clipper와 연동하여 동작한다. 대상 URL의 정적/동적 웹 페이지를 처리하는 변환 서버의 처리 능력에 대하여 성능 실험을 수행하였으며, 동적 문서에 대한 변환 실험 결과에 따르면, 변환 서버내 스레드 풀의 스레드 개수를 5개로 유지할 때 변환 서버가 가장 나은 처리량을 나타내었다. Because a quantity wireless internet contents is much less than wired internet contents, it exist high necessities that wired internet contents should be converted into wireless internet contents. The conversion server implemented in this paper, automatically recognizes the type of user agents when they request, retrieves source documents on the web site specified by an URL, generates metaXML documents as an intermediate form, and converts them wireless markup documents appropriate for user agents. The conversion server interoperates with the image converter for image conversion and the clipper which is an authoring tool for clipping existing wired internet documents. We performed experiments about capability of the conversion server transcoding static/dynamic web pages specified by an URL. According to performance results on dynamic web pages, the conversion server showed better throughput when a thread pool in the terror maintains 5 threads compared with 1 and 10 threads.

개인의 정치적 성향이 국가 위기 대응 평가에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 정부의 위기대응평가에 대한 요인의 한 가지로 위기 평가자 개인의 성향을 측정하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 2010년 3월 26일 발생한 천안함 침몰 사건을 중심으로 정부의 위기대응방식에 대한 개인의 평가, 이러한 평가와 6ㆍ2 지방선거 간의 상관관계, 개인의 정치적 성향에 따른 정부의 위기대응평가를 묻는 설문조사를 진행하였다. 그 결과 천안함 침몰 사건과 관련한 정부의 위기대응을 평가하는 응답자의 태도는 부정적이었으나 이것이 6ㆍ2 지방선거에 미친 영향은 그다지 유의미하지 않아 정부의 위기 대처 능력과 선거 간에 상관관계가 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 개인의 정치적 성향과 정부의 위기대응평가간의 관계에 있어 개인의 정치적 성향이 정부의 위기대응평가에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 보수 성향자는 정부의 위기대응이 적절하였거나 보통이라고 평가한 반면, 진보 성향자는 부적절했다고 평가하였다. 따라서 위기 대응을 평가하는데 있어서 평가자의 개인적 성향이 편향적 요소로 작용하고 있음을 알 수 있다. This study explores how an individual political position influences his/her evaluation on government’s crisis response. The case of Cheonam occurred in March 36, 2010, was analyzed for investigating government’s crisis management and public’s response to the government. We also looked at how government’s crisis management of Cheonam was associated with local election held on June 2, 2010. The findings showed that individuals’ political positions significantly affected their evaluation on government crisis response. The more conservative, the more supportive on government crisis response on Cheonan.

Moral Judgment and Blame in Crisis Management

본 연구는 위기유형 및 조직의 위기대응과 관련하여 공중이 어떻게 도덕적 판단을 하는가에 관한 연구이다. 공중의 위기평가에 있어서 도덕적 판단은 조직에 대한 비난에 주요한 요인으로 작용될 수 있다. 이를 검증하기 위해서 본 연구는 요인설계 2(통제 가능한 위기유형 vs. 통제 불가능 위기유형) × 2(변명 vs. 사과)를 통한 실험을 실시하였다. 그 결과 공중은 위기유형과 위기대응에 따라 도덕적 판단을 달리하며, 도덕적 판단은 조직비난에 유의미한 변인임이 밝혀졌다. This study investigated how people make moral judgments toward an organization involved in a crisis based on crisis types and crisis response types. To test it, the study employed 2(control vs. uncontrolled) crisis types × 2(excuse vs. apology) crisis response types between-subject design. The findings indicated that crisis types and crisis responses influenced participants’ moral judgment, and excuse in both crises type was judged much immoral than using apology. In addition, moral judgment significantly predicted blame.

This paper deals with the issue of robust position tracking control and energy-saving control for a valve-controlled cylinder system using speed-controlled fixed displacement pump. The whole feedback control system is composed of a pair of interconnected subsystems, that is, valve-controlled cylinder system and load-sensing control system. From experiments it is shown that position tracking control in the load sensing control system can accomplish significant reduction in input energy to pump comparing to a conventional valve-controlled cylinder system, while exhibiting the same position tracking control accuracy.

적응제어 기법을 이용한 전기-유압 액츄에이터의 위치제어

This paper deals with the issue of simple adaptive position control for a pump-controlled cylinder system. A fixed displacement pump is utilized instead of servo valve and its speed is controlled by AC motor. The whole control system is composed of a pair of interconnected subsystems, that is, a feedback control system and a feedforward control system. From experiments it is shown that position control using simple adaptive control can accomplish significant reduction in position tracking error comparing to a conventional PID control.

다국적 기업의 위기 후 사회적 책임활동에 대한 소비자의 진정성 인식에 관한 연구

본 연구는 다국적 기업의 위기 후 기업의 사회적 책임활동에 대한 소비자의 진정성 인식에 대한 연구이다. 기업의 사회적 책임활동 진정성 인식에 영향을 미치는 변인으로 기업의 이미지와 위기에 대한 기업의 책임정도를 고려하였다. 토요타의 사례를 통하여 살펴본 결과 기업의 이미지와 위기 시 책임정도는 사회적 책임활동의 진정성 인식에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 더불어 기업 이미지는 기업의 위기책임정도와 사회적 책임활동의 진정성 인식 변인들 사이에서 조절변인으로서 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. This study examined a consumer`s perception toward authenticity of CSR activity after multi-national company`s crisis by using Toyota case. The research considered corporate image and crisis responsibility as main factors influencing consumer`s perception toward authenticity of CSR. The findings showed that crisis responsibility and corporate image significantly affected participants` perception toward authenticity of CSR activity. In addition, a corporate image worked as moderate variable between crisis responsibility and their perception toward authenticity of CSR activity.
