In this paper, the method to make lossless image compression that holds considerable part of total volume of mobile game has been proposed. To increase the compression rate, we compress the image by Deflate algorithm defined in RFC 1951 after reorganize it at preprocessing stage before conducting actual compression. At the stage of preprocessing, we obtained the size of a dictionary based on the information of image which is the feature of Dictionary-Based Coding, and increased the better compression rate than compressing in a general manner using in a way of restructuring image by pixel packing method and DPCM prediction technique. It has shown that the method increased 9.7% of compression rate compare with existing mobile image format, after conducting the test of compression rate applying the suggested compression method into various mobile games. 본 논문에서는 모바일 게임의 전체 용량 중 상당 부분을 차지하는 이미지를 무손실로 압축하기 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 이미지의 압축률을 높이기 위해 실제로 압축을 수행하기 전에 전처리 과정에서 이미지를 재구성 한 후 RFC-1951에 정의된 Deflate 알고리즘으로 압축하였다. 전처리 과정에서는 이미지의 정보를 바탕으로 사전 기반 부호화의 특징인 사전의 크기를 얻고, 픽셀 패킹과 DPCM 예측 기법을 사용하여 이미지를 재구성하는 방법을 사용하여 일반적인 방법으로 압축할 때 보다 압축률을 향상시켰다. 제안된 압축 방법을 다양한 모바일 게임 이미지에 적용하여 압축률을 실험한 결과 기존 모바일 이미지 포맷에 비해 약 9.7%의 압축률이 향상됨을 보였다.

Calcifying odontogenic cyst(COC) is comparatively rare in occurrence. COC represents about 1% of jaw cysts, and although it may occur in soft tissue, it is most commonly found within bone. Both the intraosseous and extraosseous forms occur with about equal frequency in the maxilla and mandible, mainly in the incisor and canine areas The most notable features of this pathologic entity are histopathological and include a cyst lining demonstrating characteristic "ghost" epithelial cells with a propensity to calcify and the occasional association of this finding with certain odontogenic tumors including the odontoma and the ameloblastoma. In this case, COC was associated with anterior wall of the maxillary sinus which appeared in the anterior maxilla of 64-year-old woman, was reported. We report that the clinical experience of COC with review of literatures.

Arsenic trioxide is one of the 'tooth pulp devitalizing agents' used through the dental history when anaesthesia was not available. But owing to its capacity to kill cells in surrounding tissues, the use of arsenic trioxide in vital pulpotomy has been reduced. Arsenic trioxide can cause necrosis of gingiva, bone which can cause osteomyelitis of the jaws. But some dentists still continue to use arsenic trioxide in their endodontic practices. The purpose of this article is to present arsenic trioxide induced osteomyelitis on maxilla and treatment process.

Maxilla is located in midfacial area and has intimate relationship with adjacent anatomical structure such as nasal cavity, orbit, oral cavity, and zygoma. Skeletal defects of maxillary antral wall may be developed by various postoperative causes for comminuted maxillary fractures, tumors of head and neck area or cystic lesions of maxillary sinuses. If these bony defects are left untreated state, this results in several postoperative complications such as soft tissue impingement into bony defects or dysfunction of sinus mucosa. Hence, these defects should be pertinently treated as possible. The main purpose of such surgery is to preservation of normal physiologic function of maxillary sinus. In the past, a variety of materials have been used to reconstruct defects of the maxillary antral wall. Alloplastic materials are popular today because of availability without an additional operation and their ease of use. With favorable results and review of related literatures, we report the availability of lyophilized collagen implantation and microplate fixation as the reconstructive surgical methods on the defects of maxillary anterior wall resulted from various reasons.

A new method for the production of a disjoint products form of a fault tree output function is presented. It can be done by transforming a fault tree output function into a Binary Decision Diagram and failure rate can be directly calculated from it. The proposed method requires relatively fewer arithmetic operations in its evaluation.

This paper presents a test generation technique to detect faults in LSI circuits. An LSI circuit is modeled as network of functional modules. The functions of the individual modules are described using binary decision diagrams. Binary decision diagrams have proven to be a concise means for completely defining the logical operations of digital devices. A generalized D-algorithm is used for generating tests to detect stuck-at faults and functional faults.
복합적인 공유데이타 오브젝트를 갖는 병행프로그램의 동기구조

본 논문에서는 모니터의 구조를 표시하기 위한 고급의 표기법을 제시하고자 하였다. 복합적인 공유 데이터 오브젝트를 갖는 모니터의 경우 프로세쥬어들이 병렬로 수행할 수 있는 경우가 존재한다. 그러나 Hoare의 monitor에서는 하나의 프로세쥬어만이 수행될 수 있다. 논문에서는 이를 해결하기 위하여 저급의 표기법을 사용하였기 때문에 가독성이 떨어지게 되었다. 이를 극복하기 위하여 본 논문은 새로운 구조 방법을 제시하였다. In this paper, high level notation for structuring monitor is presented. In monitors having composite shared data objects, procedures may be executed parallel. But, only one procedure can be executed in Hoare's monitor. Somewhat low level notation is adopted to solve this problem in paper(4), which results in poor readability. To overcome such restrictions, a new structuring method is proposed in this paper.
