This study aims to explore the roles of the labor unions in Korea and in Taiwan in establishing and reforming the national pension systems. The findings based on the examinations through three temporal stages - under the authoritarian regime, democratic transition, and developed democracy - show that although the roles of labor unions were trivial under the authoritarian regime in both countries, their contribution to the expansion of social policies, including the national pension system, got greater since the democratization in 1980s. However, since the late 1990s, the roles of labor unions and the strategies they adopt show a divergence: while the labor union in Korea, which could not find a political channel, stuck to the militant strategy, the labor union in Taiwan successfully established a political alignment. The results suggest that the labor union in Korea may have a limitation as a political actor in the development of welfare state considering their restricted role in establishing and reforming the national pension system, while the labor movement in Taiwan demonstrates a potential of a more active role in the development of welfare state.

본 연구에서는 과학기술혁신이 중국의 지역발전에 미치는 영향에 대해서 분석하고자 31개성급 행정구역을 분석대상으로 하였으며, 지역의 경제발전을 나타내는 객관적인 기준으로서 지역내총생산을 종속변수로 사용하였고, 지역의 경제발전에 영향을 미치는 독립변수는 선행연구에 대한 검토 및 중국의 경제발전상황을 고려하여 인구, 교육, 문화, 경제, 과학기술혁신 등 5개의 요인을 선정하였다. 지역발전 수준을 나타내는 지역내총생산에 대한 요인분석을 통해서 성시별 상주인구, 문화·체육·위락업 분야의 고정자산 투자액, 지역별 재정지출에서 교육예산의 비중은 사회문화영역적 요인으로 분류되었다. 외국인 투자기업의 투자 총액, 종합과학기술혁신수준지수는 경제혁신영역적 요인으로 분류되었다. 다중회귀분석결과를 살펴보면 지역에서 보유한 풍부한 노동력, 문화분야에 대한 적극적인 투자, 외국인 투자기업의 투자 규모, 과학기술분야의 선도적인 혁신 등의 요인이 지역의 경제발전에 대해서 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 특히 지역 경제발전에 대해서 외국인 투자기업의 영향력이 가장 크고, 과학기술분야 혁신의 영향력은 아직까지는 가장 작은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 지역 경제적 발전에 있어서 사회문화영역적 요인으로 분류된 비경제적 요인들도 상대적으로 중요한 영향요인으로 작용하고 있다. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the effects of scientific and technological innovation factors on regional development in China. This paper analyzes 31 regions in China, used the Gross Regional Domestic Product(GRDP), which is an objective benchmark indicating a region’s economic development, as the dependent variable, and selected 5 factors, i.e. population, education, culture, economy and scientific and technological innovation, as independent variables affecting the regional economic development in consideration of previous findings and China’s economic development. Based on the factor analysis of GRDP which is the benchmark of the size of a regional economy, permanent resident population, fixed assets investment in culture, sports and entertainment industry, proportion of education expenditure out of a regional government’s total budget spending were grouped into socio-cultural factors. Total investment of foreign invested enterprises and aggregate scientific and technological innovation indicators were included in the economic innovation factor. The multiple regression analysis indicated abundant local workforce, aggressive investment in culture, total investment of foreign invested enterprises and scientific and technological innovation were the factors that had positive effects on regional economic development. Most of all, regional economic development was most affected by the total investment of foreign invested enterprises, but least affected by scientific and technological innovation. Also, non-economic factors which were grouped into the socio-cultural factors in regional economic development served as relatively important influence factors.
Formal Asymptotic Expansion기법을 이용한 복합재 보의 단면거동 해석

The initial three-dimensional problems can be split into microscopic 2D and macroscopic 1D problems with scaling coordinate. And then, equilibrium equation, constitutive equation and strain-displacement relationship in linear elasticity become recursive forms by applying the formal asymptotic expansion method. From equilibrium equation, the finite element formulation can be constructed by virtual work concept. For the microscopic 2D problems, the solution at each order consists of the fundamental and warping solutions. The warping solutions implement nonclassical cross-sectional deformation of beams. The variation about the fundamental solution leads to formulate the macroscopic 1D problems. In case of the macroscopic 1D problems, the proper boundary conditions should be applied to obtain the solutions. Finally, the accuracy of solution is demonstrated by comparing with 3D finite elements solution in the numerical examples.
다공성 나노/마이크로 구조물의 열탄성 거동에 대한 멀티스케일해석

Nano scale structures exhibit different mechanical behavior compared with macro scale structures. It is known that its characteristic is caused by surface effects. Generally, this size effect can be investigated by the atomistic simulation. However, the atomistic simulation has many limitations due to computational resources and time. For this motivation, it is required that a continuum based model considering surface effects should be developed. In this paper, the bridging technique between atomistic simulation and continuum models is introduced and then, the homogenization method is applied to micro/nano structures in order to analyze the thermomechanical behavior.
