        개에서 땀샘 암종, 유선종양 및 방광 이행상피암종의 동시 발생

        A 7-year-old female Pointer dog with multiple masses in the axilla, mammary gland, and bladder was submitted to the Pathology Department of the College of Veterinary Medicine in the Jeju National University. Grossly, mass between right axilla and 1st mammary gland, 15 × 10 cm in size, was well delineated and firm, slightly soft center, oval shape. And masses in right 1st, 3rd and 5th mammary gland were well delineated and sulphur yellow in color on the cut-surface. Numerous round to oval shaped masses, 0.3 to 2 cm in diameter were existed in the lung. Urinary bladder mucosa had rough and thick and round to oval papillary masses, 0.1 to 2 cm in diameter, on surface. Microscopically, masses in right axilla, 1st mammary gland, lung and axillary lymph node were composed of poorly differentiated tubules originated from apocrine gland. Lining neoplastic epithelium showed high mitotic figures, typical apical secretory blebs, and PAS-positive diastase-resistant cytoplasmic granules. Masses in 3rd and 5th mammary gland were confirmed as mammary complex adenoma and simple adenoma respectively. The masses in the urinary bladder were covered with stratified transitional epithelium with marked cellular atypia and high mitotic figures. Some neoplastic cells showed focal invasion into substantia propria of bladder. Immunohistochemaically, neoplastic transitional epithelium demonstrated positive reactions for cytokeratin 7, AE1/AE3, and MNF116. Based on the gross, histopathologic and immunohistochemical characteristics, this dog was diagnosed as apocrine carcinoma, mammary gland tumor including simple adenoma and complex adenoma and bladder transitional cell carcinoma. And distant metastases of apocrine carcinoma in right axilla were observed in axillary lymph node and lungs. This is the first report for concurrent occurrence of apocrine carcinoma, mammary gland tumor, and transitional cell carcinoma in a same dog.

        라그랑지안 입자추적법에 의한 유출유 확산모델링

        To predict the oil-spill dispersion in marine waters, the oil-spill dispersion model based on Lagrangian particle-tracking method was developed and applied to Kwangyang and Jinju Bay. The tidal current movements to be required as input data of the oil-spill dispersion model were obtained by a two-dimensional numerical tidal model. Evaluation of tidal current movements using mean tide was successful. Modelling results were compared with the field data obtained at spill site. There were some descrepancies between modeling results and field data. However, the general pattern of modelling results was similar to that of field data. Provided the real-time tidal currents and more accurate wind data are supported, more favorable results can be obtained.

        입자추적법을 이용한 해양방류구 모델링

        오염물질 확산모델링시 기존의 유한차분모델의 단점을 보완하기 위해 입자추적법이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Princeton Ocean Model에 결합하여 사용할 수 있는 3차원 입자추적모델을 개발하였으며 이를 다양한 수치실험을 통해 검증하였다. 또한 미국 플로리다 주 템파만의 해양방류구 모델링에 적용하므로써 모델의 유용성을 확인하였다. 예상대로 입자추적모델은 기존의 유한차분모델에 비해 적은 확산범위를 나타내었으며, 이는 기존의 유한차분모델이 안고 있는 수치확산에 따른 오차로 추정된다. 새로이 개발된 모델은 다양한 해양확산모델링에 유용하게 응용될 것으로 기대된다. To overcome the weaknesses of conventional finite difference model in pollutant dispersion modelling, the particle tracking method is used. In this study, a three dimensional particle tracking model which can be used in Princeton Ocean Model was developed and verified through the various numerical tests. Usability of the model was also confirmed through the ocean outfall modelling in Tampa Bay, Florida. As it is expected, random walk model showed the less dispersion in a range compared to the conventional finite difference model and its reason is estimated due to an error from numerical diffusion which the conventional model holds. This newly developed model is expected to be used in various ocean dispersion modelling.

        수영만의 해수순환 및 확산에 관한 수치모델링

        The water-quality control for coastal waters is continuously required in view point of the environmental protection. The purpose of this study is to simulate the hydrodynamic process and the dispersion phenomena of several pollutants in Suyeong Bay, Pusan. The present study employs the depth-averaged 2-dimensional model for nemerical simulation of the hydrodynamics and diffusion. The nemerical solution is obtained by ADI(Alternating Direction Implicit) scheme which is frequently used for tidal current and diffusion computations in the coastal zone. To verify the numerical results, the field observations of various water quality parameters such as COD, SS and nutrients were performed during the spring tide. In the results of this study, the computed tidal currents show the clockwise flows for ebb tide and counter-clockwise flows for flood tide. In comparison with the water-qualities in ebb tide and flood tide, there seems to be slightly deteriorated in ebb tide and especially near the estuary of Suyeong River. In flood tide, however, the water-quality near Kwangan Beach is deteriorated. The computed distributions of COD and SS are in god agreements with the observed ones, while those of PO^(3-)₄-P and NO^-₃-N show slight differences due to the complex transformation processes.

      • 비정렬격자 모델에 기반한 콜럼비아 강에서의 유출유 모델링

        본 연구에서는 유한체적법과 함께 비정렬 격자(Unstructured Grid) 를 채택한 SELFE 모델을 기반으로 운영되는 유출유 확산 모델을 개발하였다. 모델의 적용성을 검토하기 위해 미극 오레건주 콜롬비아 강의 유출유 모델링에 적용하였으며 양호한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 앞으로 이 모델은 하천, 호수 및 해양을 포함한 다양한 수계에 적용이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

      • 한국 게임 산업의 발전 전망

        This paper is about the development and forecast of the game industry which will play an important part in knowledge-based society and discuss what is the best way to raise the national competitive power in the 21th century when electronics industry is combined with multimedia technology and information technology. To develop the knowledge-based industry is an important problem for Korean government to solve because we don't have enough natural recourses and a trade barrier becomes higher. And also the game industry is beyond the ordinary industry because it has the cultural contents. The game industry had an great effect on Korea as it made popular the internet and the on-line game. But the technology development to improve the competitive game industry is not active because the game industry concentrates on an only on-line game. And the game industry still don't have the national competitive power compared with its importance because most of the game developers are small-scale businessmen. So it is necessary to develop the required technology and make a social consensus to improve the competitive game industry. Most of all, we should foster the game industry by means of a close cooperation between the government and the industrial circles and an educational institution. The government should encourage the investment to improve the system and foster the technology by a continuous revision of the related regulations. The industrial circles should support various type of investment including the research investment to improve the game industry. And the educational institution should cultivate the professional manpower who could be fitted for a specific position. To succeed in the game industry it is necessary to undergo various changes in the domestic game industry that has concentrated on only on-line games. 1 suggest the synergy effect through the image project(영상사업) based on gam contents and the database to make the game by means of the Korean characteristics contents. A3so we should fill up programing specialist and make a study of the 3-dimension technology. The educational point will be important for the game in the future so it will be necessary to graft various real world situation on to the game, for example, virtual reality and human sensibility engineering. It will be greatly needed to develop the game technology that is applicable to various contents.

      • 부산항 실시간 해양예보시스템 구축을 위한 기초연구

        근래 컴퓨터 수치모델이 급속하게 발전함으로써 다양한 분야에서 수치예보기술이 응용되고 있다. 실시간 해양예보시스템도 그중의 하나로 관측시스템, 정보제공시스템, 그리고 모델링시스템으로 구성되며, 이는 실시간 해양정보를 제공함으로써 해상교통의 안전과 연안환경의 보호에 기여한다. 본 연구에서는 부산항 실시간 해양예보시스템의 구축을 위한 기초연구로써 부산항 모델링시스템을 개발하였으며 그 결과를 제시한다. 기존 관측자료가 부족하여 M2조석 모델링만으로 시스템의 테스트를 수행하였으나 앞으로 관측시스템이 완비되면 종합적인 테스트가 요구된다. 아울러 앞으로 관측시스템 및 정보제공시스템이 계속해서 구축될 예정이며 이들 시스템이 모두 완비되고 나면 인터넷을 통한 실시간 정보제공이 이루어지게 될 것이다.
