This study seeks to explore the personal, social and cultural factors that affect the behavior of wearing a mask during Covid-19. To this research, prior studies of perceived risks, self-efficacy, collective efficacy, subjective norms, social stigma, horizontal individualism, vertical individualism, horizontal collectivism, vertical collectivism, and preventive behavior were reviewed and analysed through surveys to analyze the integrated hierarchical regression model affecting mask behavior. Studies have shown that among the factors for mask behavior, the subjective norm and self-efficacy, collective efficacy, and subjective norm have high explanation power. Horizontal individualism rather than vertical collectivism was a significant factor in mask behavior. This study would like to propose practical implications that can be applied to health communication strategies for collective preventive behavior in response to Covid-19. 본 연구는 코비드-19 마스크 착용 행동에 영향을 미치는 개인적, 사회적, 문화적 요인을 탐구하고자 한다. 이를 위해 지각된 위험과, 자기 효능감, 집단 효능감, 주관적 규범, 사회적 낙인, 수평적 개인주의, 수직적 개인주의, 수평적 집단주의, 수직적 집단주의와 예방 행동에 대한 선행 연구를 검토하고 설문 조사를 통해 데이터를 수집하고 분석하여 마스크 착용 행동에 영향을 미치는 통합적인 위계 모델을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 마스크 착용 행동에 대한 요인 중 자기 효능감, 집단 효능감, 사회적 압력 인식인 주관적 규범의 설명력이 높았으며, 수직적 집단주의 성향보다는 수평적 개인주의 성향이 마스크 착용 행동에 유의미한 요인임이 밝혀졌다. 본 연구는 코비드-19에 대응하는 집단적 예방 행동에 대한 헬스 커뮤니케이션 전략에 적용할 수 있는 실무적 의의를 제안하고자 한다.
