        CAPILLARYS 2 FLEX Piercing HbA1c 검사 성능 평가

        Background: The hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level is widely used to monitor glycemic control in diabetes mellitus patients, and various methods are used for its determination. The CAPILLARYS 2 FLEX Piercing (Sebia) is a fully automated, high-throughput glycohemoglobin (HbA1c) analyzer based on capillary electrophoresis. Methods: The analytical performance of the CAPILLARYS 2 FLEX Piercing analyzer was evaluated for its precision, linearity, correlation with the Variant II Turbo (Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc.) analyzer, and its vulnerability to interference by carbamylated hemoglobin. We also investigated its agreement with National Glycohemoglobin Standardization Program (NGSP) targets. All evaluations were performed according to CLSI guidelines EP05, EP06, and EP09. Results: The coefficients of variation (CVs) for within-run and total imprecision were 1.7% and 1.8% at low concentrations and 1.2% and 1.3%at high concentrations, respectively. Linearity was excellent, with R2=0.9882 in the range of 5.13-13.83%; these results highly correlated with those produced by Variant II Turbo (R2=0.9978). The 95% confidence interval (for differences from the NGSP target) was -0.3618-0.3343%. No significant interference of carbamylated hemoglobin was noted. Conclusions: The CAPILLARYS 2 FLEX Piercing analyzer showed excellent precision and linearity. Its results correlated with those obtained by the Variant II Turbo analyzer, and were agreement with the NGSP target. Therefore, its analytical performance is satisfactory for diabetes diagnosis and treatment monitoring.

        After a long period of preparation, the new accounting system (IFRS17, IFRS9 and K-ICS) will be implemented from 2023. It is clear that innovative changes will be made to the existing accounting system, such as market valuation, accrualism, and principled valuation of debt. Therefore, it is necessary to estimate the changes in the capital at the time of the transition, the size of the profit and loss by year after implementation, etc., and to carry out a comprehensive response to ensure the proper size of the solvency margin and the continued maintenance of profit and loss. In this article, the process by which insurance companies respond in preparation for the introduction of the new accounting system is described in a business example. The main review tasks of insurance companies related to the reference book are examined, the profit test of the product is used to determine the pros and cons of the current sales product, to determine whether to concentrate the sales power or improve the product, and in the financial impact analysis, the basic direction of the future business strategy is also examined by deriving the optimal proposal of various optimal assumptions and settlement methodologies, and the level of solvency margin and the size of profit and loss at the time of the transition and the subsequent period. The business impact was analyzed and responses were made. The channel strategy redefined the operating plan in conjunction with the directionality and channel-customer-commodity strategy, the product strategy focused on profitability and capital efficiency-oriented product development and product research and development capacity enhancement, asset management and risk management promoted the improvement of ALM-based processes, and management considered the improvement of long-term value-oriented and management systems. In the master plan, we gave examples of the establishment of action plans by work area, organizational implementation measures and system construction by area. On the other hand, based on the management accounting system, the main contents related to the management system were divided into management plan formulation, profit and loss management, and performance analysis, and some examples were presented, and in the conclusion the opinions related to considerations and overall response were presented.

        Identification of Two Novel NPM1 Mutations in Patients with Acute Myeloid Leukemia

        Background: Genetic abnormalities in adult AML are caused most frequently by somatic mutations in exon 12 of the NPM1 gene, which is observed in approximately 35% of AML patients and up to 60% of patients with cytogenetically normal AML (CN-AML). Methods: We performed mutational analysis, including fragment analysis and direct sequencing of exon 12 of the NPM1 gene, on 83 AML patients to characterize the NPM1 mutations completely. Results: In this study, NPM1 mutations were identified in 19 (22.9%) of the 83 AML patients and in 12 (42.9%) of the 28 CN-AML patients. Among the 19 patients with NPM1 mutations, type A NPM1 mutations were identified in 16 (84.2%) patients, whereas non-A type NPM1 mutations were observed in 3 (15.8%) patients. Two of the 3 non-A type NPM1 mutations were novel: c.867_868insAAAC and c.869_873indelCTTTAGCCC. These 2 novel mutant proteins display a nuclear export signal motif (L-xxx-L-xx-V-x-L) less frequently and exhibit a mutation at tryptophan 290 that disrupts the nucleolar localization signal. Conclusions: This study suggests that novel NPM1 mutations may be non-rare and that supplementary sequence analysis is needed along with conventional targeted mutational analysis to detect non-A types of NPM1 mutations.

        손상성ㆍ수리성 향상을 위한 범퍼 스테이 사례 연구

        In the FY2003, the number of registered vehicles in Korea reached 14 million. which is 7.7% increase from the previous year. The increase of number of vehicles has caused a lot of social problem with enormous costs. The social costs related to the vehicles includes environmental costs resulting from pollution and scraping of vehicles. those resulting from life-saving and repairing from car accidents and so on. There have been many efforts to reduce the social costs in many areas. As a part of the efforts. there arc recent growing interests on the damageability & repairability in related industries.<br/> In this study, we investigated the cases of two different types of bumper stay. Futhermore. we analyzed their effects on damageability & repairability and reduction of repair cost. So we found that if the manufacturers design new cars with good damageability & repairability. then the total repair cost in crash will be reduced.

      • 동시공학 설계 개념을 이용한 자동차 현가 장치의 최적 설계

        동시동학 설계 방법은 보다 짧은 개발기간과 저렴한 생산비용으로 보다 우수한 품질을 갖는 제품의 개발을 위해 적용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 동시공학 설계개념을 이용하여 자동차 현가 장치의 최적 설계에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 동시공학 설계 개념을 이용한 자동차 현가 장치의 최적 설계 과정은 전처리 설계 단계, 해석 단계, 후처리 단계로 구성된다. 또한 본 논문에서는 현재 독립식 현가 장치 중에서도 전륜 현가 장치로 널리 쓰이고 있는 맥퍼슨 스트럿 현가 장치에 대해 기구학적 민감도 해석과 함계 이를 통한 최적 설계를 수행함으로써 최초 현가장치를 설계 시, 레이아웃(layout) 결정에 유용하게 적용될 수 있는 새로운 접근법을 제시한다. Concurrent engineering design methods can be applied to meet the demand for the quality product with lower production cost and time. In this paper, the optimal design of the automotive suspension system using concurrent engineering design concept is studied. The optimal design process of the automotive suspension system is composed of a pre-processing design stage, and analysis stage and a post-processing stage. In this paper, optimal design with kinematic sensitivity analysis for a McPherson strut suspension system which is widely used for a from wheel suspension is proposed and new approach method which can be applied usefully to determine the layout of suspension system is proposed when a engineer designs the suspension system at the first stage.
