Fuzzy logic control(FLC) has been studied extensively and has been applied in various applications. The most popular control strategy takes the Fuzzy Proportional-Integral(FPI) form. While systematic methods have been developed to derive the fuzzy rules and membership functions, the choice of the scaling factors remains an open problem. In this paper, an analytical FPI scaling factor determining method is derived, based on the functional equivalence of the PI and FPI controllers. Simulations have been carried out with a brushiess DC motor drive system as test-bed, the obtained results have verified that the derived method is applicable to both the initial choice and further tuning of the FPI scaling factors.

The conventional PI controller are fragile in parameter variation and load-variation. Therefore, in this paper, a speed control algorithm based on the Fuzzy PI controller is proposed for the high performance speed control of a voltage ?? inverter to drive 3-phase induction motors. The computer simulation and experiment results show that the proposed controller are more excellent control characteristics than conventional PI controller in transient-state and steady-state response.

Average-current mode controlled boost rectifier is most universally used at present, While the method gives high power factor, low harmonics distortion, has drawbacks such as 3-feedback loop, complex component, difficulty of control-circuit design, and high cost. Research for improving these problem has been carried out, and Nonlinear Carrier(NLC) Control method is representative. This control method has easy algorithm for control, and its feedback loop and control components are reduced. In this paper, the control method was evaluated by simulation through Matlab/Simulink, and experimented with 550W boost rectifier. As the result, that can get high power factor above 0.95 and low harmonic distortion was confirmed. Also, a good dynamic response on line and load variation was confirmed.

This paper described control of induction motor using voltage source inverter applied to orientation vector control which was indiract vector control. IGBT which has good switching characteristic was used to compose of converter, and speed response characteristic was improved, because of doing speed and current control. And processing speed and reliability was improved, using TMS320C31 and EPLD to compose of controller.

In this paper, we adapted BLDC motor to PV water pumping systems to maintain high efficiency in the wide speed area. Also to design confidence, we adapted the vector control that drive the maximum torque at each speed limit. We designed optimal gain value of current, speed and pressure PI controller. Inverter gate pulse used Space Vector PWM to reduce torque pulsation of BLDC motor. Finally it was improve general matters of high water storage tank method by direct water supply pumping method.
