In the industrial field, various type of fuel have been used for product processing facilities. Recent for 10 years, the usage of natural gas (NG) was gradually increased. Because it has many merits; clean fuel, no transportation, storage facility and so on. There are common safety concept that strict explosion protection approaches are needed for facilities where explosive materials such as flammable liquid, vapor and gases exist. But some has an optimistic point of view that the lighter than air gases such as NG disperse rapidly, hence do not form explosion environment upon release into the atmosphere, many parts has a conventional safety point of view that those gases are also inflammable gases, hence can form explosion environment although the extent is limited and present. In this paper, the heating equipments (Hot Oil Heater) was reviewed and some risk management measures were proposed. These measures include hazardous area classification and explosion-proof provisions of electric apparatus, an early gas leak detection and isolation, ventilation system reliability, emergency response plan and training and so on. This study calculates Hazardous Area Classification using the hypothetical volume in the KS C IEC code.
EFDC 모형을 이용한 댐 붕괴류 수치모의 및 매개변수 민감도 분석

In this study, a series of numerical simulation of dam break flow was conducted using EFDC model, and input conditions including cell size, time step, and turbulent eddy viscosity were considered to analyze parameter sensitivity. In case of coarse mesh layout, the propagated length of the shock wave front was △χ longer than that of other mesh layouts, and the velocity results showed jagged edge, which can be cured by applying fine grid mesh. Turbulent eddy viscosity influenced magnitude of the maximum velocity passing through gate up to 20% and the cell Peclet number less than 2.0 ensured no numerical oscillations.
제설기반 취약지역 보행자의 전기안전발판(융설용) 최적설계에 관한 연구

This paper describes an optimal design of electric snow melting mat on vulnerable walk zone. In order to design an optimal electric power of snow melting mat and protect pedestrians with a nonslip mat, with considering protection of environmental pollution from abusing of the de-icing salts added calcium chloride. We analyzed nine snow melting mats through verification experiment in the condition of -5℃, depending on three different kinds of heating material, electric heating cable, carbon heating film and carbon textile film . As a consequence, the 150 W/m<sup>2</sup> carbon textile film mat for snow melting was identified as an optimal power input and functional performance for pedestrians` safety on vulnerable walk zone. It is expected that the 150 W/m2 carbon textile film mat would be useful to reduce slip down accidents by human error.

본 연구는 국내 안전보건경영시스템인 건설업 분야의 KOSHA 18001 위험성평가 적용 사업장의 실무자들을 대상으로 자가기입식, Self-administered, 설문을 배포하여 위험성평가 도입시 문제점과 안전보건활동과의 연계성 및 실효성을 분석하여 위험성평가 제도의 조기 정착에 시행착오를 제거하고 개선방안을 찾고자 실시되었다. 연구결과 위험성평가 시스템 도입시 주된 문제점은 전문 인력과 정보의 부족, 위험요인 도출 및 개선대책의 수립 등, 위험성평가 기법에 대한 교육적인 측면에 어려움이 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 위험성평가 제도를 조기에 정착하여 원활한 시행을 위해서 는 실질적으로 필요한 위험성평가 기법에 대한 정보 및 자료, 교육과 역할연기 등의 훈련이 선행 되어야 할 것으로 판단되며, 정부에서는 이를 지원할 수 있는 전문가의 육성과 재정적인 지원을 정책적으로 반영하여야 할 것으로 사료된다. This research was executed to establish the quick settlement of risk assessment through the Self-administered questionnaires to the workers at the Constructor field``s. According to this research, main problems of risk assessment system was analysed that it has the shortage of experts and information, and difficulty in educating a risk assessment technique. To settle the risk assessment system earlier and execute it smoothly, it is estimated that it requires an education and training of risk asses sment technique actually necessary, and the government should execut e the assisting policy promoting experts and supporting finance.

Soil properties, drain conditions and numerical analysis technique have great influence upon consolidation behavior. In relevant to the above described fact, this paper aims to examining the applicability of prediction model of consolidation as well as deformation characteristics for soft clayey foundation improved by sand drain. A case study for actual foundation of Kwangyang steel works was performed. Single drain consolidation model proposed by Hansbo and Biot's consolidation theory coupled with modified Cam-clay model developed during the research were employed for the FEM numerical analysis of the foundation. Both smear effect and drain capacity were taken into account for the analysis. Finally the applicability of the newly developed technique to the behavior of foundation composed of soft clay proved satisfactory.
