邑誌는 16세기 이후 지방의 관리나 사족이 자기가 살고 있는 고장을 대상으로 삼아 편찬한 地理志이다. 이는 행정기구 단위로 작성되었고 정치와 문화 등 다양한 정보를 담고 있으므로 지역사 연구에 자주 활용되는 편이다. 조선시대 淸州의 경우 忠淸道를 대표하는 고을인 만큼 현재 10여 종의 읍지가 남아 있는 것으로 확인되지만, 그중 일부가 해제 또는 번역을 통해서 소개되었을 뿐이고 아직 전반적인 비교 검토는 이루어진 바가 없다. 본고는 현존 청주 읍지를 수집하고 분석함으로써 지역사 연구에 활용될 수 있는 기초적 토대를 마련하고자 한다. 우선 成冊의 하한 시기는 대부분 관련 기록이 실려 있지 않아 정확히 알기 어려우나 일부 내용을 통해서 17세기 중반 1종, 18세기 후반 1종, 19세기 중반 3종, 19세기 후반 3종, 미상 5종으로 대략 추정하였다. 다음으로는 각 읍지의 편제 항목을 서로 비교하고 그에 따른 내용상의 특이점을 몇 가지 정리하였는데, 戶口와 田結의 수치에 의거한 지역 경제력의 양상이나 수록 인물의 黨色을 바탕으로 향촌 사족의 동향 등을 살펴보았다. Town chronicles were geographies compiled by the local gentry or government officials in the region, and they detailed the area they lived in. Written on the scale of administrative agencies and containing a variety of information including information concerning politics and culture, town chronicles are frequently used in the research of local history. In the case of Joseon dynasty period Cheongju, 13 different town chronicles remain because Cheongju was a town that represented Chungcheong-do although some of them have been introduced only by way of bibliographical introduction or translation without general cross-checking carried out. The present study attempted to establish a basic foundation that could be used for the research of local history by collecting and analyzing existing Cheongju town chronicles. First of all, it’s difficult to know precisely when these chronicles were created because most of them lack records specifying the latest period as to when they could have been created. Nevertheless, some of their content allow approximate estimation suggesting 1 was created in the mid-17th century, 1 in the late 18th century, 3 in the mid-19th century, 3 in the late 19th century, and 5 unknown. Next, the study compared the compilation items from each town chronicle and accordingly arranged several significant characteristics in terms of their content. Specifically, as lacking as it was, the study estimated aspects of the regional economy based on household and tax-on-land figures as well as the tendencies of Hyangchon-sajok(country aristocrats) based on the party identities of the figures included.

Experimental research has been observed to investigate stall inception characteristics in 4 stage axial compressor. To analyze instantaneous static pressure signal which was measured using a fast response pressure sensor, the signal was decomposed into shaft resolved component, periodic and aperiodic revolution components for two kinds of flow rates. In both flow rates, shaft order periodicity was confirmed by signal decomposition. However, at low flow rate, the amplitude of aperiodic revolution component was 50 percent bigger than that of high flow rate. It means that at high flow rate, circumferential static pressure field is more stable than low flow rate condition. The compressor performance test was performed in no-stall, stall onset and fully developed stall conditions. Even in stall condition, dimensionless performances of three different shaft speeds were corresponded well. The frequency of shaft order perturbation, mode and fully developed stall were analyzed by frequency analysis methods.

In this research, experimental investigation has been observed to enhance 4 stage axial compressor stability by steady air injection. By injecting air in front of 1st stage rotor tip, compressor operation range was extended about 4% based on no injection condition. The stall onset stage, signal frequency and stall cell feature were analyzed and these characters were compared with no injection condition's. Even though, no significant different was detected in steady air injection, except stall onset performance point, this results can be used as a reference for selecting injection stages in multistage compressor.
