        셰익스피어 영화에 있어서의 자기반영성: <햄릿>(2000)과 <야연>(2006)을 중심으로

        Self-Reflexivity in Shakespearean Films:On Hamlet (2000) and The Banquet (2006)This paper examines two recent film adaptations of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and discusses these two films as offering new understanding of adapted films as essentially self-reflexive media. Hamlet is one of canonical Western literary works that has most vigorously been re-interpreted and re-produced all over the world. Among the countless versions of this classical drama, this paper especially pays attention to the most recent and high-profile adaptations, Michael Almereyda’s Hamlet (2000, US) and Feng Xiaogang’s The Banquet (2006, China). While most screen versions of Hamlet try their best to preserve the “essence” of the classical work in their themes, plots, characterization, and dialogues, these two films are quite unique in their daring attempts to take wild liberties in recreating the Shakespearean drama. Almereyda’s Hamlet is thrown into twenty-first century New York City, and is a filmmaker. In the Chinese version, the story is set in ancient China in which Hamlet is a martial arts expert and Gertrude’s lover. Applying Barbara Hodgdon’s concept of the “expectational text” as an important critical framework to analyze these films, this paper explores the meaning of these two films’ defying of such audiences’ expectations toward the original work. In the process, it is argued that borrowing Shakespeare’s cultural authority and creating complex intertextual webs of cultural signs, these two films open spaces in which to comment more on the current status of the American and Chinese film industries than the Shakespearean past.

        동성애 영화에서의 ‘보는 즐거움’의 정치학: <브로크백 마운틴>, <서양골동양과자점 앤티크>, <쌍화점>을 중심으로

        This paper examines the specific cinematic tactics with which films dealing with homosexuality appeal to heterosexual audience. In discussing this issue, the study compares an American film, Brokeback Mountain, and two Korean films, Antique and Ssanghwajǒm. Although these films apparently seem to signal a new era in American and Korean film culture when homosexuality is less tabooed than before, a deeper observation of the films’ cinematic techniques and audience demographic reveals that they actually ignore homosexual audience by mainly focusing on heterosexual spectatorship. To find out how the homosexual films attract different groups of audience, the paper first traces the specific visual pleasure that each film generates. Brokeback Mountain parades beautiful American landscape to familiarize the gay story to heterosexual audience in general, whereas the two Korean films feature extremely beautiful male actors(kkotminam) to draw the attention of female audience. In both cases, homosexuals themselves are hardly considered as the target audience. Therefore it is revealed that the success or proliferation of gay films do not necessarily prove or contribute to the elevation of homosexual status in society. Instead, homosexual films produced in the mainstream film industry such as these three films can become deceiving markers of the social change regarding homosexual reality that has not yet come.         I have taken an enquete on the primary school students living in Eusung-gun, Kyung-buk Province from Mar. 1, 1984 to Jun. 31, of the same year. Questioning the boy and girl students, 2,400 on the Brushirg-Time during a day, an average daily Bsushing-frequency on ages and sexes, and Brushing-Percent on Brushing-Tim. And then, I got the following conclusion below. 1. An average daily brushing frequency of all the primary school students was l.9 times a day. 2. An average daily brushing frequency according to the ages was in the tendency inverse proportioned with the ages. 3. An average daily brushing frequency through the sexes was more exceeded in the female than the male. 4. The brushing proportion before breakfast of a13 the primary school students was 3.87%, and the proportion after breakfast was 68.15%. 5. Among the education on the hygiene of the mouth through all the primary school, the education to revise the brushing time was examined especially to be emphasized.

        부가적 산부식 시간에 따른 자가 산부식 접착제의 법랑질 전단결합강도

        이 연구의 목적은 유치와 영구치의 법랑질에 자가 산부식 접착제 적용 전 부가적인 산부식 시간을 달리 하였을 때, 전단결합강도에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위함이다. 각각 65개의 발거된 건전한 유치와 영구치 협, 설면 법랑질 시편을 제작하고 두 종류의 자가 산부식 접착제를 적용하였다. 실험군은 Clearfil SE bond, Adper Prompt L-pop으로 처리한 두 개 군으로 나누고, 이를 다시 산부식 시간에 따라 여섯 군(0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 30초)으로 분류하였다. 대조군으로는 total-etching system인 Multi-purpose plus를 사용하였다. 접착제 처리면을 복합레진으로 충전하고 24시간 경과 후 전단결합강도를 측정하고 Mann-Whitney test와 Kruskal-Wallis test를 사용하여 통계분석 하였다. 결과는 자가 산부식 접착제를 적용한 군은 유치, 영구치 모두에서 total etching system에 비해 낮은 전단 결합강도를 보였다. 자가 산부식 접착제 사용 군내에서 산부식을 추가로 시행하였을 때 유치와 영구치 모두에서 결합강도가 증가하였으며, 10초 이상 산부식을 시행한 경우 결합력의 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 유치와 영구치간 결합력의 차이는 인정되지 않았다. 결론적으로, 자가 산부식 접착제의 법랑질에 대한 전단결합강도는 유치, 영구치 모두에서 10초 이상의 부가적 산부식이 결합력의 증가에 유리하게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. The aim of this study was to evaluate the bonding ability of two self etch systems to human primary and permanent enamel and the effect of additional acid etching time. Exfoliated, caries free human primary molar(n=65) and permanent molar extracted (n=65) were used. prepared enamel specimens were randomly divided into 2 test groups and a control group. The control group(n=10) were treated with 35% phosphoric acid gel and Scotchbond Multi-purpose adhesive. Experimental groups(self-etching systems) were subdivided into 6 groups(each n=10) according to additional etching time(0s, 5s, 10s, 15s, 20s, 30s). The result were as follows : 1) The shear bond strengths of the self-etching adhesives(Clearfil SE Bond, Adper Prompt L-pop) without additional etching were lower than control group(Scotch Bond Multipurpose). 2) Between the same self-etch adhesive groups, additional etched groups showed higher shear bond strength 3) There was no significant difference between primary and permanent enamel. In conclusion, bond strength of self-etch adhesives to enamel could be increased with additional etching.

        The validity of new building prototypes must be confirmed to support the design process for comparable future projects. This project invovled a post-occupancy study at a new women's health center that provides LDR/P (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum). The study's objectives were to test whether the intentions of the designers were effectively executed, to provide feedback to the hospital about the new facility, and to provide design guidelines.
