        직접 접촉식 막 증발공정에서 무기 막오염 특성 분석 및 저감방법

        This study was aimed to examine inorganic fouling and fouling reduction method in direct contact membrane distillation(DCMD) process. Synthetic seawater of NaCl solution with CaCO3 and CaSO4 was used for this purpose. It was found in this study that both CaCO3 and CaSO4 precipitates formed at the membrane surface. More fouling was observed with CaSO4(anhydrite) and CaSO4・0.5H2O(bassanite) than CaSO4・2H2O(gypsum). CaCO3 and gypsum were detected at the membrane surface when concentrates of SWRO(seawater reverse osmosis) were treated by the DCMD process, while gypsum was found with MED(multi effect distillation) concentrates. Air backwash(inside to out) was found more effective in fouling reduction than air scouring.

        MZ세대의 명품 브랜드 소비 특성에 관한 연구

        In this study, we examined the luxury brand consumption characteristics of the MZ generation and conducted a cluster analysis based on this. As a result of the analysis, it was divided into four groups: 'group seeking symbolic consumption', 'group seeking fusion of material and symbolic consumption', 'group seeking neutral utilitarian consumption', and 'group seeking material consumption'. It was confirmed that there was a significant difference in consumer perception evaluation scores for lifestyle, loyalty and luxury brands. As a result of analysis of differences by group, it was found that the MZ generation had the highest consumer evaluation of luxury brands in the ‘group seeking convergence of material and symbolic consumption’. Based on these empirical results, practical implications for luxury brand marketing communication strategies targeting the MZ generation were presented.

        Experimental Evaluation of Shape Memory Alloy Retrofitting Effect for Circular Concrete Column Using Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity

        The seismic performance of a concrete column retrofitted with an iron-based shape memory alloy (Fe-SMA) was evaluated under cyclic loading. In addition to structural behavior, internal damage was monitored using an ultrasonic pulse velocity test. The round shapes of three reinforced concrete (RC) columns were tested: a non-retrofitted RC column as a control, a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) column, and an Fe-SMA retrofitted column. During the cyclic loading test, the degradation of the column was defined based on the decrease in compressional wave velocities. The experimental results demonstrated a maximum improvement of 175% in seismic performance of the Fe-SMA retrofitted RC column compared with the controlled column. This is primarily owing to the active constraints of the SMA, which were quantified based on ultrasonic velocities. Furthermore, the surface degradation process was identified using external cracks, which were not visible in the CFRP retrofitted RC column.

        케이슨 안벽의 장기 거동 모니터링 시스템 구축 연구

        본 논문에서는 항만 계류시설 중 대표적인 구조형식인 케이슨식 안벽의 장기 거동 특성을 분석하기 위하여, 센서 기반 모니터링 시스템을 구축하고, 약 10개월간의 데이터를 검토하였다. 문헌을 바탕으로 항만시설물의 피해 원인 및 유형을 분류하였으며, 이에 적합한 센서및 계측 시스템을 선정, 현장에 설치하여 주기적으로 데이터를 확보하였다. 확보한 데이터는 LTE 통신망으로 서버에 전달 및 저장된다. 현장상황을 고려하여 경사계, 이격거리계, 침하계를 설치하였으며, 서로 다른 케이슨간의 비교를 위하여 2개 함을 대상으로 센서를 부착하였다. 계측된 센서 데이터와 기온 및 인근 해역에서 계측된 조위 데이터의 상관성을 비교하였다. 이격거리계와 침하계의 경우 온도에 따른 영향이 지배적으로 나타난 반면, 경사계는 상대적으로 덜 민감한 경향을 보였다. 온도가 약 50도 변화 할 때, 변위는 10mm, 침하는 2mm, 기울기는 0.1도 가량 변화하였다. 한편, 조위 데이터와는 뚜렷한 상관성을 보이지 않았으며, 추후 심도있는 분석이 필요하다고 판단된다. 계측된 데이터의 특성을 바탕으로 중력식 안벽에 이상상태가 발생하였을 때 이를 탐지할 수 있는 알고리즘을 개발할 수 있으며, 이를 위한 데이터베이스를 구축하였다. 중력식 안벽 대상 지속적인 장기 데이터 확보 및 분석을 통하여, 재해 및 재난 발생 시 구조물의 안전성 및 사용성을 객관적으로 평가할 수있을 것으로 기대된다. In this paper, a sensor-based monitoring system was established to analyze the long-term behavioral characteristics of the caisson quay wall, a representative structural type in port facilities. Data was collected over a period of approximately 10 months. Based on existing literature, anomalous behaviors of port facilities were classified, and a measurement system was selected to detect them. Monitoring systems were installed on-site to periodically collect data. The collected data was transmitted and stored on a server through LTE network. Considering the site conditions, inclinometers for measuring slope and crack meters for measuring spacing and settlement were installed. They were attached to two caissons for comparison between different caissons. The correlation among measured data, temperature, and tidal level was examined. The temperature dominated the spacing and settlement data. When the temperature changed by approximately 50 degrees, the spacing changed by 10 mm, the settlement by 2 mm, and the slope by 0.1 degrees. On the other hand, there was no clear relationship with tidal level, indicating a need for more in-depth analysis in the future. Based on the characteristics of these collected database, it will be possible to develop algorithms for detecting abnormal states in gravity-type quay walls. The acquisition and analysis of long-term data enable to evaluate the safety and usability of structures in the event of disasters and emergencies.

        Association of Complex Fractionated Electrograms with Atrial Myocardial Thickness and Fibrosis

        Background and Objectives: Although ablation of complex fractionated atrial electrograms (CFAE) in atrial fibrillation (AF) is one of the strategies for atrial substrate modification, the mechanism behind CFAE as an electrophysiological substrate remains unclear. We investigated structural differences between CFAE sites and their matched non-CFAE sites by comparing their histopathologic characteristics in canine AF models. Methods: Atrial electrograms of four dogs were obtained from the epicardial site. AF was induced through burst atrial pacing at 600 bpm for 30 min. CFAE sites were identified during AF according to patterns visualized on the electrograms, and their matched non-CFAE sites were selected in the adjacent region, within 5 mm of each CFAE site. Tissues were harvested from CFAE sites and their matched non-CFAE sites at various locations in both atria. Histopathologic differences were identified between CFAE and non-CFAE sites. Results: A total of 24 atrial tissues (12 with CFAE, 12 with non-CFAE) were evaluated. The atrial myocardium was significantly thicker at CFAE sites (1757.5±560.5 μm) than at non-CFAE sites (1279.5±337.2 μm) (p=0.036). At CFAE sites, it was filled with a significantly larger amount of fibrotic tissue than at non-CFAE sites (22.8±6.9% versus 7.2±4.7%, p<0.001). Results were consistent across various tissue locations. The distribution of autonomic nerve innervation was similar between CFAE and non-CFAE sites. Conclusion: This study provides a better understanding of histological characteristics of CFAE sites, namely a thicker wall and greater amount of fibrosis. These findings may be associated with the development of CFAE and its pathophysiological contribution to AF.

        비소세포성 폐암 환자에서 Amivantamab의 피부 부작용에 대한 연구

        Background: The cutaneous adverse effects (AEs) of amivantamab, a novel monoclonal bispecific antibody against the epidermal growth factor receptor and mesenchymal-epithelial transcription factor, have not been investigated. Objective: To analyze the type and prevalence of cutaneous AEs in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) treated with amivantamab. Methods: A single-institution retrospective medical record review was conducted on patients with NSCLC who were treated with amivantamab between January 1, 2021, and June 30, 2023. A total of 37 patients receiving amivan- tamab monotherapy for NSCLC were included in this study. Demographic data (age, sex, body mass index, age at cancer diagnosis, age at amivantamab therapy initiation, and duration of amivantamab use) and the types and severity of cutaneous AEs were evaluated. Results: Cutaneous AEs occurred in 59.5% of the patients. The most common AEs were maculopapular eruptions (37.8%), paronychia (24.3%), pruritus/xerosis (16.2%), acneiform eruptions (13.5%), pustulosis (5.4%), and scalp rashes (5.4%). No Grade 3 cutaneous AE, which led to the discontinuation of amivantamab therapy, was observed. Conclusion: Our data describes an extensive review of cutaneous AEs caused by amivantamab. Further research with a larger patient population is necessary to reliably predict and manage cutaneous AEs associated with amivantamab.
