In order to measure the minute amount of Cu(II) in our environment, cyclic voltammetry (CV) and square-wave stripping voltammetry (SWSV) were performed for a trace copper assay using bismuth immobilized on a carbon nanotube paste electrode. An analytical working range of 30 to 240 μg/L Cu(II) was obtained for CV and SWSV. The SWSV precision obtained was 0.47 % (n = 15) RSD in 30.0 μg/L Cu(II). The detection limit obtained was 3.1 ng/L Cu(II) using SWSV, while the CV yielded the nano-range detection limit through the pre-concentration step. By using this research method, Cu(II) value could be determined in the urine of human sample and in the brain of fish sample. This research can be effectively applied to other cases of measuring minute amount of Cu(II) in living organisms.

Diagnostic image sensing of chrono thinking currents is detected with voltammetric asay using a cadimum sulfide photo sensing electric eye circuit (EEC). Optimum results indicated when chrono cyclic and stripping voltammogram was used, Here, the working potential from -2.0 v initially to a 2.0 v switching potential, scan rate used 5.0 v/sec. The developed methods can be applied to muscle strength in nerve systems and thinking image diagnostics. EEC neuro specturms can be used for brain computer interfacing controls and other required interfaces.

간추림 토끼 고양이 돼지 및 사람의 latex 심방조형을 제작하여 심방내강의 형태를 관찰한 바 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 동물에 따라 차이는 있으나 대체로 심방귀 조형은 여러 개의 가지 모양의 구조로 되여 있다. 고유심방의 조형은 한 개의 둥근 latex덩어리로 되어 있었으며 latex 덩어리로부터 나온 가지들은 2~3차에 걸쳐 다시 작은 가지로 나누어져 있고 가지의 표면에는 주름이 잘 발달되어 있으며 맨 끝 가지는 손가락과 같은 몇 개의 구조로 갈라져 끝났다. 동물에 따라 오른쪽과 왼쪽의 심방귀의 조형은 일정한 모양의 구조로 되어있으며 왼쪽은 오른쪽의 것보다 길고 잘 구분되는 가지 모양의 구조를 갖고 있어서 오른쪽과는 차이가 있었다.

DNA를 고정한 탄소나노튜브 페이스트 전극으로 옥시테트라싸이클린 항생제의 분석조건을 연구하였다. 사각 파형 벗김 전압전류법과 순환 전압 전류법을 사용하여 최적조건에서 1-10 ngL?1의 정량 가능 범위에 도달하였다. 벗김법 0.1 mgL?1 농도에서 15번 반복 측정하여 0.068%의 상대표준편차였으며, 벗김법 최적 분석 조건에서 0.4 ngL?1의 검출 한계를 얻었다. 개발된 결과를 양식어류의 세포에서 응용하였다. A simple prepared paste electrode (PE) of DNA immobilized on a carbon nanotube was utilized for monitoring the antibacterial agent oxytetracycline (OTC), using square-wave anodic stripping voltammetry (SWASV) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). Given these conditions, SWASV and CV working ranges were observed within 1-10 ngL-1 OTC. In the SWASV and CV for OTC concentrations of 0.1 mgL-1, the relative standard deviations (n=15) were 0.068 and 0.067, respectively. At the optimized condition, the detection limit was found to be 0.4 ngL-1 OTC. This method was applied to the hatchery fish tissue.

The cell growth and antioxidant activity of Bacillus polyfermenticus SCD were studied in tryptic soy broth (TSB) medium and whey protein concentrate (WPC)-based medium. Overall, higher lactose contents in WPC-35 medium (up to 2.0%), and longer culture times correlated with greater cell viability. In WPC-35 medium with 1.5% and 2.0% lactose, the cell growth of B. polyfermenticus SCD was similar to growth in TSB medium. The 1,1-diphenyl-2-picyrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging activity of culture supernatant of B. polyfermenticus SCD in WPC-35 medium was measured to assess antioxidant activity. The antioxidant activity increased up to 32 hr of culture, reaching a maximum of 75.57% DPPH radical scavenging activity. The antioxidant activity seemed to follow the typical kinetics of primary metabolite synthesis. The antioxidant activity of B. polyfermenticus SCD supernatant in WPC-35 medium was more effective and stable than supernatant from TSB medium. These results suggest that WPC-35 medium is effective for the production of antioxidant by B. polyfermenticus SCD.

In any future, neuro sense interfacing is bound to become augment brain controls. Here, circuits are dependent on the neuro detection by in vivo or in vitro signals. For this purpose, neuro assay was performed using an electro chemical three-electrode system with cyclic voltammetry (CV) and chrono amperometry on the muscle surface. Under these conditions, amplified sensing signals were searched, and developed results can be applied to brain computer interfacing and Chinese character recognition.

This paper deals with the crack propagation life assessment of T-joint welded structure where typical fatigue cracks have been frequently initiated when the marine vessels experience the storm load. Welding residual stresses are calculated to investigate its effects on the fatigue life. Thereafter the residual stress distribution was applied to the AFGROW life prediction program, which incorporated the loading, the welding residual stress, and the geometric shape of the structure. The fatigue tests of the T-joint welded specimen under storm loading show the beach mark clearly generated on the fractured section of the weldment. The crack propagation life estimated based on the beach mark is compared with that of AFGROW to validate the life prediction. Based on the results, the evaluation method of the remaining fatigue life for T-joint fillet weldment of marine vessel's cargo hold with random load or storm load was established.

The electric circuit of an infrared photo diode electrode (IPDE) was utilized for the monitoring of artist`s painting pigments such as white blue and red (Zn, Fe, Hg) color ions by voltammetry. Here, red color were optimized using stripping and cyclic voltammetry. Analytical parameters were determined as follows: pH 3.5 electrolyte solution; deposition potential of 0.0 V; and accumulation time of 160 sec. Working ranges were observed within the concentrations of 100.900 ugL-1 and 3-30 mgL-1, and the relative standard deviations in measured concentrations of 12 mgL-1 (n=15) was found to be 0.2%. The analytical detection limit was attained at 80.0 ugL-1, to which the IPDE method was found to be applicable to pigment sensor or color variation in painting art image.
