      • 상용촉매를 이용한 바이오매스와 바이오오일 distillation residue의 혼합열분해

        바이오매스의 급속 열분해를 통해 얻어지는 바이오오일은 액체연료로의 다양한 발전 가능성으로 수십 년간 많은 관심을 받고 있으며 바이오오일의 고품질화를 위한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 특히, 바이오오일의 개질방법 중 한가지인 증기상 촉매 크래킹반응이 널리 연구되고 있지만, 이러한 방법을 통해 생산된 바이오오일 또한 높은 산소함량과 유용한 물질이라고 여겨지는 BTEX의 함량이 낮은 문제점이 있다. 이에 따라, 수소함량이 부족한 바이오매스를 수소함량이 높은 다른 물질과 혼합하여 열분해하면 훨씬 안정적인 바이오오일을 생산할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 목질계 바이오매스인 굴참나무와 굴참나무오일을 증류하고 남은 residue를 혼합하였고 다양한 SiO2/Al2O3 비율을 가진 상용촉매(HZSM-5, HY, HBeta)를 이용하여 열분해를 하였다. 전 공정에서 버려지는 물질이 없어 zero waste process라는 장점이 있다. 또한, 개질된 바이오오일의 성분분석 및 BTEX 정량에는 GC/MS를 이용하였다.

        대학생의 수면과 감각처리 특성의 상관관계

        Objective : This study was to investigate the relationship between sensory processing patterns and sleep quality for poor sleepers enrolled in universities. Methods : The participants are 191 students, aged 18 to 25, at the 6 universities located in Busan, Daegu, and other Gyeongsang Provinces. These participants completed the Korean version of Adolescent/Adults Sensory Profile (AASP) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Results : The group with lower sleep quality of this study participants suggested low but positive correlation with sleep disturbance which is one of sleep quality components of the PSQI. Low sensory registration suggested high positive correlation and Sensory sensitivity suggested low positive correlation with daytime dysfunction. Conclusion : We identified that sensory processing patterns and sleep quality may influence each other and sleep quality can be more significantly influenced by specific sensory processing pattern. More studies requires on sleep quality and sensory processing patterns in children, adults, and elders. 목적 : 본 연구는 비숙면군 대학생의 감각처리특성과 수면의 질의 상관관계를 알아보고자 한다. 연구방법 : 부산광역시, 경상남도, 대구광역시, 그리고 경상북도에 소재한 6개 대학의 만 18세~25세 대학생 191명을 대상으로 하였다. 연구도구는 한글판 청소년/성인 감각 프로파일(Adolescent/Adults Sensory Profile; AASP)과 피츠버그 수면의 질 지수(Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index; PSQI)를 사용하였다. 분석방법은 감각처리특성과 수면의 질의 관계를 알아보기 위해 Pearson 상관분석을 사용하였다. 결과 : 본 연구의 참가자들 중 비숙면군에서 감각처리특성과 수면의 질의 상관관계검증 결과, 등록 저하, 감각민감성, 감각 회피, 감각 추구의 모든 감각특성이 수면의 질 항목 중 수면 방해와 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 수면의 질 항목 중 주간 기능장애는 등록 저하와 감각 민감성과 정적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 결론 : 대학생의 수면장애와 감각처리특성을 이해하는데 도움을 제공하며, 관련 연구의 기초 자료로 사용할 수있다. 앞으로 대학생만이 아니라 아동, 성인, 노인을 대상으로 수면과 감각처리특성에 관한 연구가 필요하리라생각된다.

        Upgrading of pyrolysis bio-oil using WO3/ZrO2 and Amberlyst catalysts: Evaluation of acid number and viscosity

        Tungstated zirconia (WO3/ZrO2 with WO3 loadings of 9.9 (WZ9.9), 15.5 (WZ15.5), and 15.7wt% (WZ15.7)) and Amberlyst (15, 35, 36, 39 and 45) catalysts were employed to upgrade pyrolysis bio-oil of acacia sawdust through an esterification reaction using methanol at atmospheric pressure and room temperature or 80 oC. The upgrading efficiency was evaluated by measuring the total acid number (TAN) and viscosity. The viscosity and TAN of the resulting upgraded bio-oil were found to be dependent on the calcination temperature of the WO3/ZrO2 catalysts. At room temperature, the largest decrease in viscosity and TAN of the bio-oil and methanol mixture was obtained using WZ9.9 tungstated zirconia calcined at 900 oC. An increase in reaction temperature to 80 oC improved the flowability and TAN of the methanol-added bio-oil using WZ9.9 activated at 900 oC. The product distribution of the bio-oil upgraded using methanol revealed esterification to be the dominant reaction pathway under the reaction conditions of this study. When the ether extracted bio-oil was upgraded at 80 oC using methanol over catalysts, the Amberlyst catalysts were found more effective than tungstated zirconia catalysts in enhancing the esterification reaction and reducing TAN.

        중년여성 요가참여자의 객체화된 신체의식과 요가만족 간의 구조적 관계 연구

        This study aimed to confirm the effect of objectified body consciousness perceived by middle-aged female yoga participants on yoga satisfaction, examining the mediating effect of self-esteem, yoga commitment, and the moderating effect of self-monitoring on the relationship between objectified body consciousness and yoga satisfaction. In addition, this study provides a basis for exploring strategies to improve middle-aged female yoga participants yoga satisfaction by addressing their objectified body consciousness. This study conducted a Google online survey on 500 middle-aged women in S city and K region from June 13 to July 12, 2022, analyzing a total of 409 data among the collected data. Descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, and PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling) analysis were conducted to verify the hypotheses of this study. As a result, the following research results were derived. First, the objectified body consciousness perceived by middle-aged female yoga participants had a significant effect on yoga satisfaction. Second, yoga commitment perceived by middle-aged female yoga participants had a significant effect on yoga satisfaction. Third, the objectified body consciousness perceived by middle-aged female yoga participants had a significant effect on self-esteem. Fourth, the objectified body consciousness perceived by middle-aged female yoga participants had a significant effect on yoga commitment. Fifth, middle-aged female yoga participants self-esteem had a significant effect on commitment. Sixth, yoga commitment revealed a significant mediating effect in the relationship between objectified body consciousness and yoga satisfaction recognized by middle-aged female yoga participants. Seventh, self-esteem and yoga commitment showed significant dual mediating effects in the relationship between objectified body consciousness and yoga satisfaction perceived by middle-aged female yoga participants. Eighth, in the structural relationship between objectified body consciousness, self-esteem, yoga commitment., and yoga satisfaction, self-monitoring showed a significant moderating effect in the majority of structural model pathways

        수학과 체육에서 중학생의 자기효능감의 타인 기반 원천, 자기효능감, 수업참여의 구조적 관계

        This study aimed to examine the relationship among other-based sources of self-efficacy (such as by family, teachers, and peers), self-efficacy, and class engagement in mathematics and physical education. To this end, data of 396 middle school students were used to verify the six-factor structure of other-based sources of self-efficacy, comprising vicarious experiences and social persuasion of family, teachers, peers; and structural relationships among self-efficacy, its sources, and class engagement. The results revealed that the six-factor source model that distinguishes social models by family, teacher, and peer, fits the data better than the two-factor model, both in mathematics and physical education. Additionally, in mathematics, only social persuasion of family significantly impacted self-efficacy, whereas in physical education, peer vicarious experience influenced self-efficacy. Furthermore, in mathematics, self-efficacy had a complete mediating effect on the relationship between family social persuasion and class engagement. In physical education, it had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between peer vicarious experience and class engagement. This study is meaningful in that it examined the independent and discriminatory influence of family, teachers, and peers as sources of self-efficacy for middle school students. It also clarified the relationship between other-based self-efficacy sources, self-efficacy, and class engagement considering the characteristics of mathematics and physical education. Educational Impact and Implications : This study showed that information provided by others, such as social persuasion of trusted people and vicarious experiences of people similar to oneself, can act as a source of self-efficacy, which may affect class engagement. This process can vary depending on the subject area. To improve self-efficacy, it will be helpful if families provide praise and encouragement in mathematics; in physical education, organizing classes to observe peer efforts and performance would be helpful.

        The effect of metformin on culture conversion in tuberculosis patients with diabetes mellitus

        Background/Aims: Patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) and tuberculosis (TB) have increased morbidity and a high risk of treatment failure or recurrence. It is important to manage both diseases simultaneously. Among anti-diabetic drugs, metformin inhibits intracellular growth of mycobacteria. Therefore, we examined the effects of metformin on TB treatment, especially in patients with DM. Methods: This retrospective cohort study included patients with culture-positive pulmonary TB diagnosed between 2011 and 2012. The primary study outcome was sputum culture conversion after 2 months of treatment. Results: Of 499 patients diagnosed with culture-positive pulmonary TB, 105 (21%) had DM at diagnosis. Among them, 62 (59.5%) were treated with metformin. Baseline characteristics, except for the presence of chronic renal disease, were not significantly different between the metformin and non-metformin groups. Metformin treatment had no significant effect on sputum culture conversion (p = 0.60) and recurrence within 1 year after TB treatment completion (p = 0.39). However, metformin improved the sputum culture conversion rate in patients with cavitary pulmonary TB, who have higher bacterial loads (odds ratio, 10.8; 95% confidence interval, 1.22 to 95.63). Conclusions: Among cavitary pulmonary TB patients with DM, metformin can be an effective adjunctive anti-TB agent to improve sputum culture conversion after 2 months of treatment.

        지적장애학생을 위한 자기·장애이해교육 과정에서 나타난 학생의 변화와 특수교사의 실천적 지식

        The purpose of this study is to provide self & disability understanding education to students with intellectual disabilities and to find out the changes of students and practical knowledge that teachers gain in the process. To this end, an implementation study was conducted, and the participants in the study were teachers as researchers and implementers, six students with intellectual disabilities, and four class observers. By analyzing the data collected during the course of class execution, four upper categories, 11 lower categories, and 37 semantic units were derived. The results of the study are as follows. First, students with intellectual disabilities looked at themselves objectively and positively through the self & disability understanding curriculum. Second, teachers needed to understand others as well as themselves. Third, teachers needed to apply various teaching and learning methods based on empathy and communication. Based on the results of the study, the importance and necessity of education on understanding disabilities for students with intellectual disabilities, support for this, and the development and distribution of educational programs were discussed. 이 연구의 목적은 지적장애학생에게 자기·장애이해교육을 실시하고, 그 과정에서 나타난 학생의 변화와 교사가 얻게 되는 실천적 지식을 알아보는 데 있다. 이를 위하여 실행연구를 진행하였고, 연구 참여자는 연구자이자 실행주체로서의 교사, 지적장애학생 6명, 수업 관찰자 4명이었다. 수업 실행 과정에서 수집된 자료를 분석하여 4개의 상위범주, 11개의 하위범주, 37개의 의미단위가 도출되었다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 지적장애학생은 자기·장애이해교육 과정을 통해 자신을 객관적으로 그리고 자신의 장애를 긍정적으로 바라보게 되었고, 둘째, 자기장애를 이해하기 위해서는 자기에 대한 이해뿐만 아니라 타인에 대한 이해가 함께 이루어져야 함을 알 수 있었으며, 셋째, 교사는 장애학생의 이해와 참여도를 높이기 위해 공감과 소통을 바탕으로 한 다양한 교수·학습 방법을 적용할 필요가 있고, 넷째, 이 과정을 통해 교사 또한 수업과 장애를 다시 바라보는 계기가 됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 지적장애학생을 위한 자기·장애이해교육의 중요성과 필요성, 이를 위한 지원과 교육 프로그램 개발·보급에 대해 논의하였다.
