With the increasing demand for seafood and technological advancement in aquaculture, the industry has continuously grown. On the other hand, digital twins have been actively applied to various industries. Aquaculture deals with live aquatic animals that are sensitive to growth environment management. Hence, applying a digital twin to smart aquaculture may lead to a substantial economic benefit because it enables the optimization of different variables. We analyze the status of digital twin development in agriculture. The services of the aquafarm digital twin are divided into 1) data management, 2) optimization, and 3) intelligence. Standardization related to the aquafarm digital twin is also discussed. Based on the analyses, the development stage of aquafarm digital twin is defined, and directions of technology development are suggested.

Mathematical modeling is the process of representing physical phenomena using equations, and it often describes various scientific phenomena through differential equations. Numerical analysis, which is capable of approximating solutions to partial differential equations representing physical phenomena, is widely utilized. However, in high-dimensional or nonlinear systems, computational costs can substantially increase, leading to potential numerical instability or convergence issues. Recently, Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) have emerged as an alternative approach. A PINN leverages physical laws even with limited data to provide highly reliable predictive performance and can address the convergence issues and high computational costs associated with numerical analysis. This paper analyzes the weak signals, research trends, patent trends, and case studies of PINNs. On the basis of this analysis, it proposes directions for the development of PINN techniques in the agricultural field. In particular, the application of PINNs in agriculture is expected to be more effective than in other industries because of their ability to reflect real-time changes in biological processes. While the technology readiness level of PINNs remains low, the potential for model training with minimal data and real-time prediction capabilities suggests that PINNs could replace traditional numerical analysis models. It is anticipated that the research and industrial applications of PINN will develop at an increasing pace while focusing on addressing the complexity of mathematical models in agriculture, mathematical modeling and the application of various biological processes; securing key patents related to PINNs; and standardizing PINN technology in the field of agriculture.
클라우드 컴퓨팅환경에서 Ganglia 를 활용한 성능분석 방법론

가상화 기반 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경은 비용 효율성과 자원 활용 측면에서 강점을 갖고 있으나 주어진 응용의 행태에 따른 적절한 자원할당 방법이 필요한 상황이다. 그러므로 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서 다양하게 구성된 가상클러스터와 응용 특성을 서로 비교 분석해야 한다. 이를 위해 본 논문의 목적은 OpenStack 기반 가상화 자원을 사용하여 생성된 클러스터 환경을 상태분석 도구인 Ganglia 를 이용하여 분석한다. 분석에 사용되는 Utility 함수의 결과는 각 응용에서 요구되는 성능을 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경이 만족시키는지 판단할 수 있는 자료가 될 것이다.
症例(증례) : 간헐적으로 육안적 혈뇨를 동반한 Nutcracker Syndrome 1예

Nutcracker syndrome (renal vein entrapment syndrome) refers to compression of left renal vein between aorta and superior mesenteric artery that results in elevation of pressure in left renal vein and development of collateral veins. This syndrome occurs in relatively young and previously healthy patients and is characterized by intermittent gross hematuria due to left renal vein hypertension, at times associated with flank pain, abdominal pain or varicocele. We report a 22 year ole male patient with this syndrome presented with intermittent gross hematuria, proteinuria for 2 months. Urinalysis revealed protein (3+), blood (++), and RBC (many/HPF). Excretory urography in resting state and cystoscopy showed no remarkable finding. Renal venography showed the pressure gradient between left renal vein and inferior vena cava was 6 mmHg. The nutcracker syndrome should be considered as one of the causes of nonglomerular hematuria. All patients with unexplained severe left flank or abdominal pain, or unilateral hematuria from the left on cytoscopy, should be studied by selective renal venography and pressure measurement in inferior vena cava and renal veins. The paitent with this nutcracker syndrome could be treated with conservative treatment.
