        Intrathoracic goiter may be defined as any thyroid enlargement that has the greatest diameter of the its mass by roentgenography inferior to the upper aperture of the thoracic cage made by the sternum, rib, and vertebral bodies. Thyroid carcinoma can be occurred in the intrathoracic goiter, but it is very rare, the incidence of which is 0.3-1.5% of thyroid goiter. The cell type is a follicular carcinoma mostly, and a papillary carcinoma is only 18% of thyroid carcinoma in intrathoracic goiter. Recently, we experienced a case of thyroid papillary carcinoma in intrathoracic goiter in 73-year old female which was removed through cervical incision and partial sternotomy without any complications. The postoperative courses were uneventful.

        번머신 트레이닝이 아마추어 골퍼의 등속성 근력 및 심폐체력에 미치는 영향

        본 연구에서는 번머신(burn machine)을 사용하여 아마추어 골퍼의 수근관절과 견관절, 슬관절 그리고 심폐체력 에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 30~50대 성인 남자 아마추어 골프동호인을 운동집단(n = 10)과 통제집단(n = 10) 두 집단으로 구성하였다. 연구목적에 따라 운동집단은 8주간 주3회씩 24회 번머신 운동을 실시하여 2way repeted ANOVA 분석을 통해 결과를 비교 분석하였다. 연구결과, 트레이닝 후 수근관절과 견관절 신근은 운동집 단이 통제집단에 비해 향상되었지만 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 하지만 굴근은 운동집단이 통제집단에 비해 유의하 게 증가하였다. 좌․우측 슬관절의 신근과 굴근은 운동집단이 통제집단에 비해 향상되었지만 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았 으며, 심폐체력도 운동집단이 통제집단에 비해 향상되었지만 유의한 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 결론적으로 번머신 트레이 닝이 아마추어 골퍼의 수근관절과 견관절 신근에 유의하게 증가하는 것으로 나타났으며, 이러한 소도구 홈트레이닝인 번머신은 트레이닝 현장에서 의미있는 정보를 제공하여 적용 가능한 운동 프로그램 개발에 기초 자료로 도움이 될 것이라 판단한다. In this study, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effects on the wrist, shoulder joint, knee joint, and cardiorespiratory fitness of amateur golfers using a burn machine. The subjects of this study consisted of adult male amateur golf society in their 30s to 50s into two groups an exercise group (n = 10) and a control group (n = 10). As a result of a study, there was no difference between the wrist and shoulder extensor after training. However, the flexor muscle was significantly increased in the exercise group(EG) compared to the control group(CG). There was no difference between the extensor and flexors of the left and right knee, and cardiopulmonary fitness. In conclusion, it was found that the burn machine training significantly increased the wrist and shoulder extensors of amateur golfers.

        유연 기판 위에 증착된 IZO 박막의 구조적 및 전기적 특성

        In this study, we have investigated the structural and electrical characteristics of IZO thin films deposited on flexible substrate for the OLED (organic light emitting diodes) devices. For this purpose, PES was used for flexible substrate and IZO thin films were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering under oxygen ambient gases (Ar, Ar+O_2) at room temperature. In order to investigate the influences of the oxygen, the flow rate of oxygen in argon mixing gas has been changed from 0.1sccm to 0.5sccm. All the samples show amorphous structure regardless of flow rate. The electrical resistivity of IZO films increased with increasing flow rate of O_2 under Ar+O_2. All the films showed the average transmittance over 85% in the visible range. The OLED device was fabricated with different IZO electrodes made by configuration of IZO/α-NPD/DPVB/Alq_3/LiF/Al to elucidate the performance of IZO substrate. OLED devices with the amorphous-IZO (a-IZO) anode film show better current density-voltage-luminance characteristics than that of OLED devices with the commercial crystalline-ITO (c-ITO) anode film. It can be explained that very flat surface roughness and high work function of a-IZO anode film lead to more efficient hole injection by reduction of interface barrier height between anode and organic layers. This suggests that a-IZO film is a promising anode materials substituting conventional c-ITO anode in OLED devices.

      • 악성 종양환자의 혈청,흉막참출액 및 뇨의 Insulin-like growth factor-I, 2 의 발현

        Purpose : Insulin-like growth factors are known to be involved in cell cycle and also in the proliferation of cancer cells. In the study,we investigated the concentration on IGFs of pleural effusion,serum, and urine in both malignant tumor group and non-malignant tumor group. Materials & methods : Among 37 patients with pleural effusion on plain chest X-ray, 28 patients who were diagnosed having either lung cancers or other malignant tumors were designed as malignant tumor group and the remaining 9 patients were used as control group. The pleural effusion,serum, and urine were sampled for both groups and quantitative analysis was done using immunoradiometric assay. Results : The levels of serum IGF-I in malignant tumor group and control group were 86.6±68(6(ng/ml) and 80,5 土 117.51 respectively but those results were within normal limits, with malignant tumor group showing higher levels with no statistical difference. The levels of IGF-1 from pleural effusion in the malignant tumor group were higher than the control group with no statistical difference(l 12,9土59,96 vs 97.1 土45.07). The levels of IGF-II from serum and pleural effusion in the control group were higher than the malignant tumor group with no statistical difference(狀rum:359.8 土275.23 vs 344,4 土 138.58, pleural effusion:275.4 土 202.03 vs 162.7土 55,86 respectively), but the level of IGF-I from the pleural effusion of lung cancer patients,adenocarcinoma( 155.9 土 53.78) showed higher than small cell carcinoma(73,4 土51.60) with statistical difference(p<0.03). In comparision of pleural effusion between non-small cell carcinoma and small cell carcinoma,non-small cell carcinoma showed higher values of IGF-I,with statistical difference(p<0‘04). Conclusions : The values of IGF-IJI from pleural effusion,serum, and urine did not show significant differences between malignant tumor and control groups. Among lung cancer patients, the values of IGF-IJI from pleural effusion of non-small cell carcinoma were higher than those of small cell carcinoma in pleural effusion and serum respectively. IGF-1 showed higher levels in pleural effusion and IGF-II shows higher levels in serum, IGF-IJI are similar in structures but differs in their expressions. Clinically, it is very important for chemotherapy and further treatment that differentiation between small cell carcinoma and non-small cell carcinoma in lung cancer patients. Especially, in lung cancer patients with pleural effusion it is important because the treatment is delayed due to the difficulty of lung tissue biopsy. So according to the results of the levels of IGF-IJI from pleural effusion in non smalt cell lung carcinoma were higher than small cell carcinoma,I think IGF-IJI would be a marker of the differentiation,

        u-헬스케어 환경에서 환자의 무결성을 보장하는 RFID 보안 프로토콜

        최근 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 기술 분야 중 사용자의 정보 속성이 매우 민감한 u-헬스케어가 의료분야에서 각광을 받고 있다. u-헬스케어는 개인 건강/의료 정보를 포함한 극히 개인적인 정보를 다루고 있기 때문에 보안 및 프라이버시 측면에서 다양한 취약점 존재 및 위협에 노출되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 환자가 소유하고 있는 휴대장치(PDAs나 휴대용 컴퓨터)를 제 3자가 불법적으로 악용하여 환자의 정보를 훼손하는 것을 예방하기 위한 RFID 기반의 환자정보 보호 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안 프로토콜은 사전에 관리 서버에 등록된 병원(의사, 간호사, 약국 등)의 권한 정보에 따라 환자의 개인정보에 접근할 수 있도록 병원(의사, 간호사, 약국 등)의 권한을 계층적으로 분리하여 병원이 최소한의 업무를 수행하도록 한다. 특히, 게이트웨이 역할하는 관리 서버는 접근 허가가 승인된 환자 정보 이외에 허가받지 않은 정보에 대해서 제 3자가 쉽게 접근하지 못하도록 주기적으로 접근 허용 키를 생성하여 환자의 인증 및 관리의 효율성을 향상시키고 있다. Nowadays u-healthcare which is very sensitive to the character of user's information among other ubiquitous computing field is popular in medical field. u-healthcare deals extremely personal information including personal health/medical information so it is exposed to various weaknees and threats in the part of security and privacy. In this paper, RFID based patient's information protecting protocol that prevents to damage the information using his or her mobile unit illegally by others is proposed. The protocol separates the authority of hospital(doctor, nurse, pharmacy) to access to patient's information by level of access authority of hospital which is registered to management server and makes the hospital do the minimum task. Specially, the management server which plays the role of gateway makes access permission key periodically not to be accessed by others about unauthorized information except authorized information and improves patient's certification and management.

        An Action Select Reinforcement Learning Model in Multi Agent Environment

        Reinforcement learning is concerned with how an agent ought to take actions in an environment so as to maximize some notion of long-term reward. In particular, a multi-agent system consisting of multiple interacting agents has increased state and action space as compared to a single agent system, so it must have an effective action selection mechanism. Reinforcement learning is used to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of a robotic soccer agent's action selection. That is, an agent that chooses its actions according to a certain action selection policy receives feedback regarding whether the chosen actions are desirable or not, and the agent learns to find optimal actions for various states in simulated soccer games based on the feedback. Possible states were identified by analyzing various situations/conditions arising in simulated soccer games, and then action selection policies were defined based on the analysis of a soccer agent's behavior patterns. In this paper can be exploited to develop optimized strategies and tactics for robot soccer systems, and it is also applicable to other multi-agent learning environments similar to the robot soccer game environment. In such environments, it is significant to acquire a policy that enables intelligent agents to work cooperatively to win the game.
