Modified Hwanglyunhaedoktang has been used against allergic disease for generations, and still occupies an important place in Oriental medicine. In this study, the author investigated the effect of Modified Hwanglyunhaedoktang on immunoglobulin E-mediated anaphylaxis activated by anti-dinitrophenyl immunoglobulin E antibody. Modified Hwanglyunhaedoktang potently inhibited passive cutaneous anaphylaxis when intradermally, intraperitoneally, and orallly administered. On the other hand, it showed poor inhibitory activity when intravenously administered. Moreover, Modified Hwanglyunhaedoktang inhibited anaphylactic histamine release from peritoneal mast cells activated by anti-dinitrophenyl immunoglobulin E antibody. These results indicate that Modified Hwanglyunhaedoktang inhibits the passive cutaneous anaphylaxis by inhibition of histamine release from mast cells in vivo and in vitro and also suggest that the differential activity following prescription routes may be caused by the difference of bioavailability.
혈관신생 및 이식암세포증식 억제를 통한 가미소암산의 항암작용연구

Gamisoamsan is a prescription originated in Soamsan which is known as an anti-cancer remedy in the traditional Korean Medicine. To enhance the synergic effects of anti-cancer activity of Soamsan, this study reconstituted the original components of Soamsan with a slight modification and produced a novel herbal remedy, namely Gamisoamsan. To investigate the effects of Gamisoamsan on anti-cancer reaction, I studied the effects of Gamisoamsan on angiogenesis via chorioallantoic membrane (CAM) assay, corneal neovascularization assay and the effects on expression of growth factor which are VEGF, TGF-β, bFGF and IMUP-1. Anti-cancer effects of Garnisoamsan was also abserved through hematological parameters, tumor volume and survival rate in mice. Gamisoamsan inhibited embryonic angiogenesis of blood vessels in CAM assay and inhibited neovascularization of rat cornea. Gamisoamsan reduced cell proliferation in HT1080 cells and IC50 was 2.18 mg/ml. Gamisoamsan reduced the expression of VEGF, TGF-β, bFGF and IMUP-1 which was known as vascular growth factor and this effects of Gamisoamsan was predominant than VP-16. The treatment of Gamisoamsan decreased the CT-26 cell inoculated-tumor volume in mice colon adenocarcinoma and increased mice survival which was inoculated CT-26 cells. The results of the present study suggest that Gamisoamsan extracts has a potential anti-tumor activity and may be an useful remedy to prevent and/or treat cancer.
가미소암산(加味消癌散)의 혈관신생(血管新生) 억제에 관한 항암효과 연구

Soamsan is known as an anti-cancer remedy in the traditional Korean Medicine. To enhance the synergic effects of anti-cancer activity of Soamsan, this study reconstituted the original components of Soamsan with a slight modification and produced a novel herbal remedy, namely Gamisoamsan. Extracts of Gamisoamsan inhibited the growth of cultured CT-26 cells, mouse colon adenocarcinoma, in a dose-dependent manner $(1\;to\;50{\mu}g/ml)$, and $ID_{50}$ was estimated approximately $16.7{\mu}g/ml$. Using tumor-bearing mouse model, in which was produced by subcutaneous injection of CT-26 cells ($1{\times}10^5$cells). the effects of Gamisoamsan on tumor growth and host survival were examined by evaluating tumor volume and increase in life span. When Gamisoamsan extracts in variable doses of 100, 200 and 500mg/kg body weight per day were orally administered to tumor-bearing mice, following results were obtained: Improvement in the hematological parameters following Gamisoamsan treatment such as hemoglobin contents, red blood cells and white blood cells of the tumor-bearing mice have been observed. Gamisoamsan treatment also showed a prolongation of life span and a reduction of tumor volume in the CT-26 tumor hosts. The results of the present study suggest that Gamisoamsan extracts has a potential anti-tumor activity and may be an useful remedy to prevent and/or treat cancer.

The purpose of this study was to figure out The relationship of GRIT, resilience, and exercise commitment of collegiate Taekwondo athletes was analyzed and specifically many qualities that Taekwondo athletes should possess were analyzed. totally 360 students were taken as well as 349 valid data were actually collected and analyzed by convenience sampling method. First, continuous attention and steady effort among the sub-factors of GRIT affected control and sociality among the sub-factors of resilience. Second, continuous interest and steady effort among the sub-factors of GRIT had a significant effect on both cognitive and behavioral commitment, which are two sub-factors of exercise commitment. Third, control and sociality, which are sub-factors of resilience, had an effect on cognitive commitment and behavioral commitment among sub-factors of exercise commitment, but positiveness had a significant positive effect on behavioral commitment only. In conclusion, this study is expected to contribute to expanding the research on sports GRIT and to investigate the relationship between GRIT, resilience, and exercise commitment of university Taekwondo athletes.

The Airship which uses light gases(Helium) can afford to be managed safely, and economically. In this paper, it executed Airship aerodynamic design using Theory of the Airship shape. With the change of main design factor, aerodynamic coefficients were investigated by FLUENT and the shape of the Airship which has low drag was chosen. For low drag coefficient of the Airship, the theory of traditional Airship shape was used. The structural analysis of the Airship is executed by ANSYS.

Forecasting cash flow is very important but is difficult to do in the real estate development project. And an expected value which was forecasted on the early stage is likely to fluctuate due to uncertainties around the project. Therefore it is better to forecast cash flow by using a probabilistic approach which reflects many risky uncertainties than a deterministic approach. Through such a probabilistic approach, SPC(Special Purpose Company) can cope with cash flow fluctuation and set up a financial plan.

The 1st development of "Human Powered Aircraft(HPA)" in Korea has been conducting by KAFA(Korea Air Force Academy) from Aug. 2008 to now. HPA is an aircraft powered by directly human energy. The thrust provided by the human power may be the only source and that is weak. Therefore, light weight and strong structure is first requirement. In this paper, treating a basic conceptual design of HPA and material property and material choice for HPA. Also analysing the structure and checking the safety of HPA.
마이크로 채널에서의 기울어진 그루브 주변의 작은 레이놀즈 수 유동 패턴

기울어진 그루브 위를 지나가는 압력 구배 유동은 주 유동 방향과 가로지르는 속도 성분을 유발한다. 수치 해석 상 유동 해석의 편의를 위해서 효과적인 슬립 모델이 도입되는데 이는 기울어진 그루브에 의해 발달된 속도를 대변하기 위해 사용되고 있다. 하지만 이 모델은 주기적으로 놓인 선형적인 그부브의 조합이기 때문에 그루브 모양에 따른 모델의 유효성에 대한 검토가 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 수치 해석을 통한 그루브 주위의 유동 패턴을 조사하였고 실험적으로 이를 검증하였다. 또한 수치 해석을 통해 슬립 모델이 유효한 그루브의 깊이와 너비를 결정하였다. A pressure driven flow over slanted grooves generates a transverse velocity component to the principal direction of flow. For simplicity of analysis, an effective slip velocity is applied to represent the transverse velocity developed by slanted grooves. However, since the slip model is based on a periodically placed infinite length of linear grooves, the validity of model is limited. In this work, we investigated flow patterns over grooves numerically, and the results are verified experimentally. Based on the numerical results, we determined the range of depth and width of the grooves in which the effective slip model can be applied.
