This article aims to help physicians to make a differential diagnosis of food poisoning by introducing the incubation period, clinical symptoms of each causative agent according to the mode of manifestation. Etiologic agents for food poisoning are classified as bacterial, viral,natural toxin, and chemical toxin. Bacterial food poisoning is classified as infectious type, toxin type and other type according to the pathogenesis. Natural toxin food poisoning are classified as plant and animal food poisoning according to causative food. Many of the diagnoses are made clinically, without confirmative laboratory tests. However, some of food poisonings require the confirmative etiologic diagnoses, because they have rapid life-threatening courses and need proper speedy therapies. When incubation period is 1-6 hours, natural toxin type food poisoning should be suspected such as Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus vomiting type. When it is 7 to 12 hours, Clostridium perfringens and Bacillus cereus diarrheal type should be suspected. When it is 12 to 72 hours, Enterotoxigenic Echerichia coli, Salmonella spp., Vibrio parahemolyticus and Norovirus should be suspected. Before the result of confirmative laboratory test, a probable diagnosis for the etiology of food poisoning should be based upon the combination of their clinical manifestations, food histories, and pathogenic mechanisms.

Ball type CV joint is an automotive part transferring power of an automotive engine to a wheel. Among internal parts of CV joint a cage is easy to break by powerful torque of an automotive engine. In this paper the research for reducing contact forces on a cage is performed by the optimization analysis using the ADAMS multi-body dynamic model. In order to find influential main factors among design factors consisting of CV joint, effect analysis is performed using DOE with Minitab. And the optimization analysis is performed by selected main factors, design space and constraints using ARSM(Adaptive Response Surface Method) in HyperStudy.

<목적> 위암에 있어서 H. pylori 감염은 위암발생과정의 다단계 중 중요한 초기 단계에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있다. H. pylori 감염이 위암과 십이지장궤양을 유발되는 현상을 병동인자의 차이가 아닌 감염된 숙주의 유전적 소인의 차이로 설명하려는 시도가 되고 있다. Interleukin-1 유전자 다형성으로 인하여 강력한 위산분비 억제제인 Interleukin-1 β의 생성 촉진됨으로서 H. pylori 감염이 숙주의 반응에 중요한 역할을 한다

Constant velocity joints in automobiles have been used as important parts that transmit torque from a transmission to wheel. They are classified as plunge type and fixed type joints. The plunge type joints have two important phenomena called the GAF(Generated Axial Force) and the PR(Plunging Resistance) derived from axial force to cause NVH(Noise Vibration Harshness) problems of an automobile. Especially the PR is known as the basic cause of an idle booming phenomenon which generates automobile body vibrations and noise in a stopped automatic transmission vehicle with “D”(Drive) mode, which make worse the riding comfort of an automobile. Therefore many manufacturers producing constant velocity joints have researched the way to reduce the PR of their products. In this paper, the dynamic model including the kinematic, contact and friction model is used to simulate the PR of Cross Groove Joint(CGJ). The multi-body dynamic analysis of CGJ is conducted by using MSC.ADAMS. Consequently the developed dynamic model of CGJ is able to predict properly the PR and will be used to study design parameters.

Low vibration constant velocity joint has been developed for improvement of riding comfort. “Low vibration” means to reduce GAF(Generated Axial Force) at constant velocity joint. There are many problems for developing constant velocity joint to reduce GAF through tests of physical model. In this paper, dynamic analyses of tripod constant velocity joint using virtual model were performed by changing value of design variables which have possibility of affecting GAF. And GAF effect and interaction of design variables were studied by developed calculation method of GAF performance index. From the result of dynamic analyses suitable value and range of the design variables were suggested to reduce GAF.
