In this paper, a numerical study has been carried out to investigate the influence of design variables on the performance of a jet fan. In order to achieve an optimum jet fan design, three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics and the DOE(Design of Experiments) method have been applied. Several geometric variables of rotor, stator, bell-mouth and silencer were employed to improve the performance of the jet fan considering reversible performance. The objective functions are defined as the effective exit velocity and total efficiency at the operating condition. Based on the present results, the effects of various components of jet fan were analyzed in a point of view of forward and reverse performance.

The vegetation of Changs□n-do islet was ecologically investigated 2 times on September 9. 1990 and from April 30. 1991 to May 2. 1991 for 4 days. Vascular plants of this islet consists of 121 families, 473 genera, 685 species, 1 subspecies, 101 varieties, 10 forma and there were total 797 kinds, ever-green broad-leaved trees are 25 kinds. It is contained 21.2% ever-green broad-leaved trees of our country. And there appeared Eurya japonica, Machilus traurber gii var. obovata, Litsea japonica, Trachelospermum asiaticum var. intermedium etc. The coeffioient of natural vegetation show a high value of 1.07 and 22.7 respectively. This islet is more harmful than any other islands. And the life of the vegetation is similar with other islands. The vegetation of this islet consists of Pirus thunbergii in dominated speoies through secondary succession. The vegetation of this islet consists of Pirus thunbergii in dominated species through secondary succession. The average degree of green naturality is 4.48 comparatively. It is showed as a severe area for people interference to reclaim by drainage and cultivation. By the way studying of the soil factors pH showed a few acidity 4.90-5.89% a category. And moisture content showed almost the same sort Carpinus coreana group showed the highest coefficient to the 45.99-48.81%. Organic matter content measured at Pinus thunbergii group showed the lowest coefficient to 8.61%, Carpinus coreana group showed the highest coeffioient to 13.87%, and organic carbon almost showed Alnus japonica group. Pinus densifiora group. But we can see many different things according to Pinus thunbergii group 4.97%, Pinus densiflora group 8.01%. The total nitrogen measured at the lowest coeffioient to 0.01-0.05% of Pinus densifiora group and the highest coefficient to 0.21-0.50% of Corpinus coreana group. As we study the relation of the soil factors, we can know correlation between moisture content and organic carbon, moisture content and organic matter, organic matter and organic carbon.
