태권도학과 외국인 유학생들을 위한 개선방안 연구

이 연구는 태권도학과 외국인 유학생들을 위한 개선방안을 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있었다. 이를 위해 수도권 내 대학의 태권도학과에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생 5인을 선정하여 심층면담을 실시하였고, 다음과 같은 결론을 도출하였 다. 첫째, 태권도학과 외국인 유학생들을 위한 교과 및 학업에 관련된 개선방안에는 외국인 유학생들의 지속적인 한국어 실력 향상을 위한 프로그램 개발과 외국인 유학생들의 원활한 한국생활 및 학교적응을 위한 전담 조교가 배정되어야 할 것이다. 둘째, 태권도학과 외국인 유학생들을 위한 진로 및 취업에 관련된 개선방안에는 외국인 유학생들에게 태권도 관련 진로 및 취업 현황에 대한 상세한 설명과 외국인 유학생들이 태권도학과 재학 중에 많은 태권도 관련 행사에 참여 하면서 다양한 경험을 하도록 유도해야 할 것이다. 먼 타지에서 대한민국의 태권도를 전공하기 위해 태권도학과에 입학 한 외국인 유학생들은 앞으로 태권도 외교에 큰 기여를 하게 될 잠재적 인재들인 것이다. The purpose of this study was to investigate improvement measures for foreign students in the Taekwondo Department in South Korea. For this purpose, the investigator selected five foreign students attending a university in the Seoul metropolitan region in the Taekwondo Department and conducted an in-depth interview with them. The findings led to the following conclusions: first, improvement measures for foreign students in the Taekwondo Department in terms of subjects and studies include the development of programs to help them improve their Korean skills on an ongoing basis and the allocation of teaching assistants devoted to their smooth life and adjustment to school in South Korea; and secondly, one of improvement measures for foreign students in the Taekwondo Department in terms of career and employment is to provide them with detailed explanations about the current state of career and employment options related to Taekwondo. It is also required to encourage them to participate in many events related to Taekwondo and have various experiences while attending the Taekwondo Department. Foreign students that are from a distant country and have entered the Taekwondo Department in South Korea to specialize in Taekwondo are potential talents that will make huge contributions to the nation's Taekwondo diplomacy.

일반화 다각형 환경에서 운동 계획 알고리즘 연구

평면상에서 로봇의 운동을 계획하기 위해 널리 이용되는 알고리즘들의 대부분은 작업 환경내에 있는 장애물들을 다각형으로 가정한다. 로봇은 다각형이나 원형으로 모델링되고 로봇의 운동을 계획하는 일은 움직이는 로봇을 점으로 환산한 환경인 형상공간(configuration space, C-공간)에서 이루어지는 것이 일반적이다. 이와 같은 운동계획 알고리즘 중, 로드 맵 방식인 가시화 그래프(visibility graph, Vgraph)와 셀-분할 방식인 사다리꼴 분할(trapezoidal decomposition) 방식도 다각형 로봇과 장애물을 가정하여 만들어진 알고리즘이다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 다각형 환경에서 정의된 이두가지 알고리즘을 원과 다각형 환경으로 정의된 일반화 다각형(generalized polygon)으로 확장하는 방법을 소개하고 확장된 알고리즘들의 시간복잡도가 저하되지 않음을 보여준다.

일반화 가시화 그래프 생성을 위한 효율적인 알고리즘

가시화 그래프(visibility graph)는 로봇의 경로를 계획할 때, 최적의 경로를 구하기 일해 널리 이용되는 지도접근 방식중의 하나이다. 원래 가시화 그래프는 다각형으로 모델링된 로봇이 다각형 환경의 평면상에서 움직일때 움직이는 로봇을 점으로 환산한 환경인 형상공간(configuration space, C-공간)에서 정의되었는데 이를 원형 로봇 혹은 일반화 다각형(generalized polygon,) 환경으로 확장한 것이 일반화 가지화 그래프이다. 가시화 그래프는 로봇 운동 계획 분야 뿐 아니라 VLSI등, 많은 분야에서 이용되는 도구로서 빠르게 실행시키기 위한 여러 가지 알고리즘이 연구되었는데 본 논문에서는 기존의 다각형 환경에서 개발된 효율적인 가시화 그래프 알고리즘과 동일한 시간복잡도로 일반화 가시화 그래프를 구현할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

태권도 자유 품새 창작에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the creation of taekwondo freestyle poomsae. Semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with trainers and players who had been creating freestyle poomsae, and the following results were derived: First, music for freestyle poomsae was mostly selected using media on TV or mobile phones, and the original sound tracks of Marvel movies were preferred to express dynamic movement. New technical moves were developed and unique introduction was applied to secure creativity and originality of freestyle poomsae, and music pieces were composed and edited considering the characteristics and flow of completed freestyle poomsae moves. Second, as for the composition of freestyle poomsae moves, major technical kicks were firstly arranged, and it was preferred to express the mandatory move, stance, in a modest way. Focuses were placed on height for flying side kicks and flying front kicks, spin angle for spinning kicks, and having good pacing and securing jump distance for acrobatic moves for stable performance and landing. Third, the entire creation process and completion of freestyle poomsae were based on individual philosophy of taekwondo poomsae, understanding of the principle of moves, application of evaluation standards, etc. 이 연구는 태권도 자유 품새 창작에 관한 내용을 살펴보는데 그 목적이 있으며, 자유 품새 지도자 및 선수를 대상으로 반 구조화된 심층면담을 실시하였다. 첫째, 음악 선정 및 창의성에 관련된 내용으로 음악 선정은 주로 TV 또는 핸드폰 등의 미디어를 활용하고 있었으며, 역동적인 움직임을 표현하기 위해 마블 영화 OST를 선호하였다. 창의성을 확보하기 위해 새로운 기술 동작의 개발과 독특한 도입부를 창작하였으며, 완성된 자유 품새 동작의 특징과 흐름을 고려한 음악 작곡 및 편집이 이루어졌다. 둘째, 동작 구성 및 배치에 관련된 내용으로 동작 구성은 주요 기술 발차기인 뛰어 옆차기, 뛰어 앞차기, 회전 발차기, 연속 발차기, 아크로바틱 동작을 우선적으로 배치하였으며, 의무 동작인 범서기, 학다리서기, 뒷굽이는 절도 있게 표현하는 것을 선호하였다. 그리고 뛰어 옆차기와 뛰어 앞차기는 높이, 회전 발차기는 회전각, 아크로바틱 동작은 안정적인 동작의 수행과 착지를 위해 체력의 안배 및 도약거리 확보에 주안점을 두고 있었다. 셋째, 전체적인 창작 과정 및 완성에 관련된 내용은 현재 자유 품새 전문가들은 각 개인마다 지닌 태권도 품새의 철학, 동작 원리의 이해, 채점 기준의 적용 등에 따라 다양하게 이루어지고 있었다.

외국선수들의 관점에서 바라본 태권도 품새경기의 가치와 발전방향

이 연구는 외국선수들의 새로운 관점에서 품새경기의 가치를 탐색하고, 앞으로 품새경기의 발전방향을 제시함으로써 국내는 물론 전 세계인들에게 존재의 가치를 인정받는 태권도 품새경기로 발전할 수 있도록 하는데 연구의 목적이 있으며, 그에 따른 결과는 다음과 같이 도출할 수 있었다. 첫 번째로 외국인들은 품새경기의 가치는 품새수련을 통해서 인내심, 겸손함, 또한 균형 있는 신체발달과 태권도 품새가 담고 있는 정신적 가치, 특히 품새경기에서는 입장하는 자세, 인사법, 도복차림, 띠의 길이 등 예의와 관련된 항목들이 평가되어지기 때문에 태권도예의에 대해 알게 되었다고 말하고 있다. 또한, 국내선수들은 지나친 경쟁으로 인해 경기에 대한 즐거움보다는 승부에 집착하는 모습들을 볼 수 있는데 그 반면에 외국선수들은 경기에 출전하는 자체를 즐긴다는 것이다. 이는 국내선수들이 본받아야 할 만한 정신일 것이다. 두 번째로 품새경기의 발전방향으로는 다양한 연령층을 위한 태권도 품새가 개발되어야 할 것이며, 이를 통해 품새에 대한 관심과 지지가 곧 수련인구의 증가로 나타날 것이다. 또한 각 대륙별 품새경기 활성화를 위해 경기횟수를 늘려야할 것이고, 각종 매스미디어를 통해 태권도 품새에 대한 전반적인 내용을 홍보해야 할 것이다. 또한 외국인들이 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 경기규칙과 경기품새가 빠른 시일 내에 개발되어 태권도의 화려한 기술들을 추가시켜야 세계적으로 영향력이 있는 품새경기로 발전할 수 있을 것이다. This study focused on the value of poomsae competition from the foreign athlete by the in depth interview method and suggested the way to development for all the citizen of the world to recognize the value of the existence of poomsae competition. The result is as followed. First, foreign athlete said that they could understand the value of spirit included in poomsae and the courtesy of taekwondo by the evaluation at the poomsae competition about entering attitude, greeting way, outfit of uniform, length of the belt, etc. It is sorry for the internal athlete more to be focused on competition and victory but, for the foreign athlete to enjoy the competition itself. Second, it is necessary to develop poomsae for the all the age to enlarge the training population. And it is important to increase the matching time to revitalize the continental poomsae competition and promote the overall content of poomsae on the massmedia. It is also needed to develop easy game rule for the foreigner's well understanding and various technique to develop to be a globally influential game. So to speak, it is important to make effort to make global cizizen to understand taewondo poomsae competition easily and gathering various opinions of developing suggestion to make taewondo real global sport.

항공 및 우주 수송의 안전성 확보를 위한 통합화 노력

최근의 우주 활동과 민간 항공은 실제로 도전과 기회를 불러일으키고 있다. 이러한 인식을 바탕으로 미래 항공우주 운송에 대한 일반 개념 및 특성을 정의내리기 위해 UNOOSA(UN Office of Outer Space Affairs)와 ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization)가 전례 없이 독특한 공동의 노력을 기울이기 시작했다. 지난 3월 ICAO/UNOOSA AeroSpace Symposium을 개최한 것이다. 심포지엄은 우리가 가고 싶어 하는 곳까지의 궤적에 필요한 기술과 규제를 종합적으로 논의해야 할 필요성을 전제로 한다. 항공과 우주 분야 사이의 공통부분에 놓여 있는 성공의 핵심은 매우 분명하다. 두 분야 모두 매우 성숙하고 오랜 시간 증명된 국제 프레임워크를 가지고 있다. 즉, UNOOSA와 ICAO가 새로운 지평에 접근하는 우리의 노력을 통합하고자 하는 데 그 정신이 담겨있다. 첫 번째 스텝은 안전관리 및 시스템 엔지니어링 방법들을 포함한 기존의 규정 및 권고사항에 대한 공통적인 이해를 다지는 것이다. 이러한 노력은 결과적으로 최근의 우주활동과 관련된 도전과 기회들을 정의 및 설명하고, 모든 사회의 이익을 고려하며, 모두에게 접근가능하고 열려 있음을 보장하면서 모든 국가에 광대한 이익을 가져다 줄 것을 확실케 하는 견고한 토대가 되어줄 것이다. 둘째로 기술적 요소가 앞으로도 주된 중심을 이루겠지만, 차세대 항공우주 인력 및 전문가를 준비하고 양성하는 것도 동일하게 중요할 것이다. 이는 오늘날 젊은이들에게, 나아가 인류의 미래의 삶을 변화시킬 목표와 영감을 부어줄 것이다. 마지막으로 안전성(Safety)은 우주 및 항공 분야 모두에게 근본적이고 인도적인 원칙이다. 따라서 UNOOSA와 ICAO는 정보를 통해 안전성에 관하여 지속적으로 공동의 노력을 이어갈 것이다. The first step is to establish a common understanding of existing regulations and practices, including safety management and systems engineering methods. This will, in turn, provide a solid foundation for identifying and addressing challenges and opportunities related to emerging space activities, taking into account the interest of all society, and ensuring that it is accessible and open to all, and certain that it will bring far-reaching benefits to all States. While the technical elements are our primary focus, equally important is the preparation and enlistment of the next generation of aerospace workers and professionals, which starts with providing the youth of today with goals and aspirations that will transform their lives, and by extension, the future of humankind. Safety remains the fundamental and guiding principle of both the space and air domains, so we encourage all participants to take advantage of the wealth of information and stay connected to our joint effort.

하계유니버시아드 태권도 품새경기의 문제점과 개선방안

The purposes of this study were to identify problems with the Taekwondo Poomsae competitions in previous instalments of Summer Universiade and propose improvement measures to solve them. For those purposes, the investigator conducted an in-depth interview with the Poomsae players that represented South Korea in the 25th, 26th, and 28th Summer Universiade and collected their opinions about the problems and improvement measures of Taekwondo Poomsae competitions. The findings led to the following conclusions: first, as for the problems and improvement measures related to training, there should be enough room in the appointment of professional Poomsae instructors and the selection of players to represent the nation so that they can have enough training for group and pair competitions. The interested persons of Taekwondo need to improve their complacent attitude toward the performance of Poomsae players to represent the nation in international competitions. Secondly, as for the problems and improvement measures related to the game formats, the stage facilities of a stadium should not hinder the performance of Poomsae players; the cutoff method should be combined with the tournament one; and the stadium mats should be appropriate for the performance of Poomsae movements. Finally, as for problems and improvement measures related to scoring, there should be a clear set of criteria for Poomsae kicking in Taekwondo; a specialized curriculum should be introduced for overseas judges in each continent for regular sessions of Poomsae education and scoring practice; and the game rules should be applied with consistency to national and international Poomsae competitions.
