The integrated protection unit of CHEONGUNG is composed of chemical-biological equipment and air conditioner equiped heating element. The protection capabilities against chemical-biological agent were measured by using simulant agents such as n-Hexane, KM5 Screening Smokes and CS agent. The experimental test results with simulant agents verify the protective performance of the integrated protection unit.

For military training and course-of-action analysis, OneSAF Int'l version being used in ROK Army has a limited capability to simulate NBC(nuclear, biological, and chemical) damages. For high-fidelity NBC combat simulation, it is required to visualize NBC contamination dispersion in consideration of weather conditions and terrain characteristics. However, OneSAF itself handling interaction among thousands of combat entities cannot carry out a simulation of NBC contamination dispersion because it brings about an excess burden. To resolve this problem, this research aims to design simulation federation for analysis on NBC operational effects. After examining design consideration to connect OneSAF and a NBC contamination dispersion model, we design a federation architecture that facilitates the interaction between OneSAF and a NBC contamination dispersion model. Afterwards, we implement a federation interface to share simulation data by publish-subscribe pattern and to translate them into the proprietary format for each model. We prove the possibility of federation between both models, as showing that dispersion of NBC contaminated cloud and changes in concentration are reflected in OneSAF-based engagement simulation.

The study of model for velocity and turbulence within the urban canopy was carried out. To evaluate existing urban model we conducted wind tunnel experiment and large-eddy simulation (LES). Mean velocity profile and turbulence are measured within simple three different obstacle arrays. To obtain supplemental data and to verify morphological model large-eddy simulation was performed. Several methods have been used to achieve embodying the flow field in urban area. Recently, morphological method obtaining flow parameters from the statistical or physical representation of obstacle elements is a arising method. It was found that all morphological model, evaluated in this study, over predict the friction velocity, most sensitive one among the flow parameters. Velocity and turbulence in the urban canopy layer were improved by the correction using 'true' friction velocity.

This report describes an attempt to induce histologic change in the vaginal well by repeated infusion of sperm suspension into the rabbit vagina which was previously immunized with identical pooled human sperm suspension from blood group O. Experimental animals were divided into 4 groups. Group 1 and 2 were injected only phosphate buffered saline solution and Freund's complete adjuvant, respectively, being control groups. Group 3 were injected subcutaneously with pooled sperm suspension and group 4 were injected subcutaneously with sperm suspension mixed with Freund's complete adjuvant. After immunization schedule, sperm suspension was infused into the vagina, repeatedly, and histologic picture of the vaginal mucosa was compared. The results obtained are as followings: 1. By repeated infusion of sperm suspension into the vagina of rabbit which were previously immunized with sperm suspension, it was possible to induce histologic reaction in the vaginal mucosa. 2. The degree of histologic change was more marked in the group 4 animals which were immunized by sperm suspension mixed with Freund's complete adjuvant. 3. Histologic picture was that of chronic inflammatory change, mainly of lymphocytic infiltration, in various degree. 4. This chronic inflammatory reaction of the vaginal mucosa of experimental groups seems to be induced by cellular immune reaction.
