초등학생의 Molar Incisor Hypomineralization 유병률과 제1대구치 치아우식증 및 수복상태 조사

Molar Incisor Hypomineralization(MIH) have recently gained intensive research interests and various clinical trials. Most prevalence, etiology, treatment studies in MIH were carried out in the European countries, and data from the Korean were seldom. This study aimed to investigate the prevalence of MIH and the status of dental caries and treatment on the first permanent molars in primary school children. For this study, 1.344 primary school students in Busan and Ulsan cities were examined directly the permanent incisors and first molars. The results of the survey were as follows: 81 MIH cases were identified among 1.344 cases. The prevalence of MIH in this group of children was 6.0%. Children with MIH showed a significantly higher DMFT value for permanent teeth than children without MIH. The mean number of decayed, missed, and filled in 1st permanent molars(DMFT index) was 1.17. The rate of children with restoration on 1st permanent molar was 13.6% and the sequence of restoration materials was as follows: composite resin, amalgam, gold inlay. Molar Incisor Hypomineralization(MIH)에 관하여 최근 많은 연구적 관심이 집중되고 여러 임상적 대처방법들이 제시되고 있다. 이미 세계적으로는 MIH의 빈도, 병인, 치료 등에 관한 많은 연구보고가 있었으나, 우리나라에서는 이에 대한 관심이 아직 미미한 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 초등학생의 MIH 유병률과 제1대구치 우식 및 치료 실태에 대하여 조사할 목적으로 시도되었다. 부산 및 울산광역시에 거주하는 1,344명의 초등학생을 대상으로, 상하 제1대구치와 전치부를 직접 시진하여, MIH 유병률, 제1대구치 우식경험지수와 치료 상태를 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 총 1,344명 의 조사 대상 중 81명에서 MIH가 나타나, 유병률은 6.0%를 보였으며, MIH에 이환왼 어린이의 제1대구치 우식경험지수는 비이환군에 비해 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다(P<0.05) 한편, 제1대구치 우식경험지수는 1.17개로 나타났다. 조사 대상 제1대구치의 13.6%가 수복되어 있었고, 수복재 별로는 복합 레진, 아말감, gold inlay의 순이었다.
해안 방재림 조성으로 인한 바람에너지 감소 효과의 정량적 분석 - 임분밀도 대비 소산률 상관식 -

The objective of this study is to establish a quantitative method for analyzing wind energy dissipation rate for the assessment of compositioneffect in the Coastal forest for damage prevention. The dissipation rate is defined as a ratio of the decreased power at thewake to the total incident kinetic energy per unit time for incident air particles. From the field data of East, West, and South sea coastsfrom Korean peninsula, the three-dimensional shape of tree is modeled with computer-aided design (CAD) technique, and the consecutivenumerical analysis is accomplished using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Numerical results are compared with those ofwind tunnel experiment with an aerodynamic test model, reduced but similar, output with a 3-D printer. Consequently, the correlationsbetween tree density and dissipation rate are obtained for the reference fields of each coasts, which was found to regress in thegraph of a logarithmic form. 본 연구의 목표는 해안 방재림의 조성 효과를 평가하기 위하여 정량적인 인자로서 바람에너지 소산율을 분석하는 방법을 적립하는 데있다. 소산율은 입구 공기 입자가 가진 단위 시간당 총 입사 운동에너지 대비 후류에서 감쇠된 동력의 비로 정의 하였다. 한국 동, 서남해안의 대표지로부터 취득한 야장 데이터를 바탕으로 수목들의 3차원 형상을 전산설계 기법으로 모델링 하였으며, 전산유체역학 기법을 이용하여 수치해석을 수행하였다. 수치 모델과 동일한 형태로 3차원 프린터로 출력한 공력 시험 축소 모델을 사용하여 얻은 풍동실험 결과와 비교되었다. 연구 결과로서 각 해안의 임분밀도 대비 소산율의 상관관계를 구하였으며, 로그 형태의 그래프로 회귀하는것을 알 수 있었다.
Prevalence and Clinical Features of Molar-Incisor Hypomineralization in Adolescents in Yangsan

This study aimed to investigate the prevalence and distribution of enamel hypomineralization, including molar-incisor hypomineralization (MIH), among adolescents and assess their correlation with esthetic satisfaction. A total of 1371 adolescents between the ages of 14 and 16 years in Yangsan city were evaluated for enamel hypomineralization, including MIH, according to the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (EAPD) criteria. In a parallel survey, esthetic satisfaction about anterior teeth and its correlation with incisor enamel hypomineralization were analyzed. The prevalence of MIH was 13.8% (n = 189), while that of hypomineralization in any permanent tooth was 23.2% (n = 318), which was substantially greater compared to the national prevalence of MIH. Mandibular first molars exhibited the highest prevalence of hypomineralization, followed by maxillary central incisors and mandibular second molars. Among anterior teeth, the most frequently affected site was the incisal edge of maxillary central incisors. A high degree of hypomineralization in anterior teeth was associated with a high demand for esthetic treatment.

The authors studied and analyzed microsccopically structure, length and diameter of each part of Willis circle in 264 cerebral hemespheres of 182 autopsied patients in the Taegu area from 1984 to 1990. The mean length of each A1 was 14.1mm and diameter at distal A1 was 2.25mm. The most common anatomical anomaly of the ACA part was A1 that of hypoplasia which appeared in 7.5% of the cases. The origin of the Heubner a. was accounted for the highest incidence of AcoA(82.5%). The length of AcoA, noted 3.5mm with the incidence of duplication and triplication in 38.6%. The inner diameter of ICA noted 3.9mm at the communicating segment in ICA, and the average length of C4 was 12.5mm. Except 5 hemispheres of undetectable origin at ICA, all the anterior choroidal a. originated from ICA, and the double stump of which noted 15.5%. Fetal type PcoA. showed 16.6% of all and average legnth of the a. was 13.5mm. The inner diameter of MCA was 3.1mm and the mean length of M1 noted 15.5mm. The length of each P1 noted 6.95mm and the inner diameter of basilar a. at 1cm below the bifurcation was 3.3mm. The mean circumference of willis circle including both side of A1, P1, PcoA. AcoA. and choroidal and communicating segment of ICA was 88.6mm. Incidental finding of unruptured aneurysm noted 5.3% and junctional dilatation of PcoA. showed 11.4% of all the cases.
