This paper presents the study of equivalent material properties with visco-elastic material properties.. The goal of the study is anticipation of equivalent material properties (natural frequency, loss factor, and Young's modulus) in damping materials treatment. Through the equivalent material properties, we must design FEM model with constrained layer damping material. And equivalent material properties saved solving time in FEM model. We could acquire the visco-elastic material properties (shear modulus, loss factor) to experiment the oberst test using modified ASTM. And we can anticipate resonance of constrained beam with shift ratio between bare beam and constrained beam. Equivalent material properties of constrained beam is obtained from shear parameters (g is made of shear modulus of visco-elastic material, length, and wave number) at resonance of constrained beam. FEM model of visco-elastic material must be designed solid model. We didn't design solid FEM model but equivalent shell FEM model. So we saved solving time and convenience of FEM model mesh.

This paper deals with the characteristics of idle vibration due to the type of constant velocity joints. Based on the kinematics model of constant velocity joints, a offset between the tripod center and tullip center plays a important role in generating unwelcome forces. Moreover, it induced additional forces in lateral direction of a vehicle movement according to the angle of the spider in idle vibration. The difference of mass for each constant velocity joint types affect the natural frequency of the driveshaft and the powertrain. When the static torque is applied to the constant velocity joints, the natural frequencies of the driveshaft are reduced nearby 50㎐. There will be a big opportunity that the dirveshaft and constant velocity joints would be a transfer path of idle vibration at D or R gear range. Experiments indicate that TJ type is better than SFJ and DOJ in idle vibration.
증례보고 : 척추 경막외 병용마취 후 발생한 간대성 근경련

Two cases showed intermittent myoclonic movements in the lower extremities after receiving combined spinal-epidural anesthesia (CSE). Case 1: A 73-year-old female patient, underwent CSE, for a total knee replacement of right leg. Anesthesia was performed at L3/4 interspace with 2.0 ml of 0.5% tetracaine, mixed with normal saline and patient`s own cerebrospinal fluid and epinephrine 1:200,000. Epidural catheter was inserted 3 cm-cephalad. Patient-controlled analgesia regimen was made with sufentanil 100 ug, 0.75% ropivacaine 30 ml, and naloxone 0.55 mg, with normal saline. The infusion regimen began at the end of the surgery, finished uneventfully after one and half hours. After 3 hours, the patient developed symmetric hip adductions of large amplitude and extensions of both legs for 2 to 3 seconds. Until valproate 800 mg was given, the movements repeated at 1 to 2 minute intervals for 3 hours. Case 2: The anesthesia and analgesia for 74-year-old female patient was done in similar fashion. Three hours after the end of operation, the patient showed myoclonic movements on right leg for about 30 seconds. The movements occurred at 2-3 minute intervals for the subsequent 2 hours and resolved spontaneously. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2007; 52: 95~8)
