Polymer solar cells have attracted great attention for their potential utility in the production of large-area, low-cost, and flexible photovoltaic devices via solution processing. To achieve high power conversion efficiencies, electron-donor polymers should have the following desirable characteristics: good absorption spectral overlap with the solar spectrum, optimal energy level alignment with respect to electron-acceptor fullerene derivatives to facilitate efficient exciton separation, formation of a nanoscale interpenetrating network of the polymer and fullerene domains inside the photoactive layer, and provision of effective charge transport carriers toward the electrodes. Herein, we report synthesis and characterization of polymers. This work demonstrates that the newly designed materials moiety is a promising building block for high performance PSCs.
Organic semiconductor based on phenylethynyl end-capped anthracene for OTFT

Organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) based on molecular and polymeric organic semiconductors have attracted considerable interest due to their lower cost deposition processes and higher compatibility with plastic substrates compared to silicon-based thin film transistors (TFT). In this study, a new molecular having anthracene core and phenylethynyl end groups is designed and synthesized. This molecular was expected to have deep highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) level, leading to higher stability than that of pentacene. Moreover, rigid rod structure with a high aspect ratio due to triple bond, leads to a higher long range ordering and a higher intermolecular π-π stacking compared to that of pentacene. Thus, the device incorporating this molecular shows a high charge mobility, stability and device reproducibility.

Objective : This study is designed in order to evaluate the therapeutic effect of venesection on acute low back pain. Methods : From Nov. 1st 2003 to Apr. 30th 2004, 40 cases of low back pain patients at acute stage were divided into 2 groups; one group(control group) took only acupuncture therapy, and the other group(test group) took acupuncture and venesection therapy. Pain rating score(PRS) was used to assess the pain for its intensity, frequency, duration, and aggravating factors. And visual analog scale(VAS) was used, too. PRS and VAS was checked twice, before the treatment and after the treatment. Treatment was done twice a day. Rusults : Both acupuncture therapy and acupuncture with venesection therapy showed good effect on low back pain of acute stage. And the latter group showed better effect on decreasing pain than former. It was proved by the difference between PRS and VAS checked before treatment and what checked after treatment. But it was not proved statistically. Conclusion : Only acupuncture and acupuncture with venesection can be recommended as a useful therapy to treat low back pain of acute stage.
모바일 어플리케이션 업데이트 분석 : 사용자 반응과 의도하지 않은 결과를 중심으로

모바일 어플리케이션 시장에서 업데이트는 (i) 어플리케이션의 가시성을 높이기 위해서, (ii) 기존 사용자들의 충성도를 높이고 어플리케이션의 가치를 제고하기 위해서, 그리고 (iii) 기능 추가를 통해 시장을 확대하는 등의 목적을 가지고 전략적 마케팅 도구로 빈번하게 활용되어 왔으며, 많은 사례와 연구들이 이러한 업데이트의 중요성을 뒷받침해왔다. 그러나, 업데이트가 항상 이와 같이 의도했던 결과만을 가져오지는 않았으며 사용자들의 반발과 이탈을 가져오기도 했다는 것을 보여주는 사례가 존재한다. 많은 경우 업데이트는 기존의 기능을 개선하거나 새로운 기능을 추가하고, 기존의 기능을 삭제하는 경우는 많지 않다는 점을 고려할 때, 이러한 사용자들의 부정적인 반응은 어쩌면 놀라운 일일지도 모른다. 본 연구는 모바일 어플리케이션의 실제 사용량 데이터를 통해 어플리케이션의 이용 목적과 시장경쟁환경 등에 따라 업데이트가 사용자들의 어플리케이션 이용패턴에 사용자수 측면에서, 이용빈도수 측면에서, 그리고 이용시간 측면에서 어떠한 영향을 주었는지를 분석해보았다.
