This paper proposes a battery energy storage system using a photovoltaic generation system. The proposed system consists of a grid, battery and PV array. Considering a daily load profile, radiation and battery, operation modes are divided. An algorithm is presented based on modes. In the paper, operation modes and algorithms are verified through simulations.

우리나라의 문화재행정은 1961년도 문화재관리국이 설치되고 1962년도 문화재보호법이 제정됨으로써 본격적으로 시작되었다고 볼 수 있다. 이후 국민소득의 증가와 지식정보화 사회의 도래 등에 따라 문화재와 관련된 국민적 수요가 급증하고 문화재행정의 범위도 크게 확장되고 있다. 2009년 1월 현재 지정문화재는 10,375건, 문화재 예산은 4,544억원이다. 문화재정책의 기본은 `원형 보존`이며 또 다른 축은 `체계적 관리`와 `효율적 활용`이다. 이를 위해 문화재청은 문화재의 보수·정비·복원사업을 시행하고 유형에 따른 효율적·과학적 보존체계 구축과 활용, 문화재분야 국제교류, 조사연구 및 인력 양성 등 각종 시책을 수립, 시행하고 있다. 문화재행정의 과제로는 문화체육관광부와 문화재청으로 이원화되어 있는 문화재 관장 조직의 통합, 문화재보호법제의 재정비, 문화재 보호기금의 설치 및 문화재 콘텐츠 개발·보급 등을 들 수 있다. It can be seemed that the cultural heritage administraion in Korea began in earnest since 1961 when the Cultural Heritage Management Bureau was established and 1962 when the `Cultural Heritage Protection Act` was legislated. Since then, the national needs related to cultural heritage have been rising rapidly and the sphere of cultural heritage administration has been broadening largely according to the increase of national income and the advent of knowledge and information society, etc.. As of January 2009, there are 10.375 designated cultural heritages and 454.4 billion won of yearly cultural heritage budget in Korea. The fundamental principle of cultural heritage policy is to keep in the original form and other axes are systematic management and efficient application. For these purposes, The Cultural Heritage Administration is carrying out repair, maintenance and restoration of cultural heritages and diverse policies for systematic management and efficient application according to the types. Presently, the tasks of cultural heritage administration are to incorporate the dualized administrative institutions of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Cultural Heritage Administration, to legistrate several specific Cutural Heritage Acts, to establish a cultural heritage fund and to develop and spread the contents on cultural heritages.

This paper proposes a soft switching boost converter with an auxiliary circuit. This circuit helps a main switch operate as a soft switching. The main switch operates ZVS turn-on and ZVS turn-off. And the auxiliary switch operates ZCS turn-on and ZVS turn-off. In this paper, operation modes are analyzed and soft switching operation is verified through simulations.

The evolution of sinterability, microstructure and mechanical properties for the spark plasma sintered(SPS) Ti from commercial pure titanium(CP-Ti) was studied. The densification of titanium with 200 mesh and 400 mesh pass powder was achieved by SPS at $750{\sim}1100^{\circ}C$ under 10 MPa pressure and the flowing $H_2$+Ar mixed gas atmosphere. The microstructure of Ti sintered up to $800^{\circ}C$ consisted of equiaxed grains. In contrast, the growth of large elongated grains was shown in sintered bodies at $900^{\circ}C$ with the 400 mesh pass powder and the lamella grains microstructure had been developed by increasing sintering temperature. The Vickers hardness of 240~270 HV and biaxial strength of 320~340 MPa were found for the specimen prepared at $950^{\circ}C$.

In this paper, a bi-directional DC/DC converter using a LC series resonant circuit. A proposed converter consists of adding soft switching cell in a conventional bi-directional buck-boost DC/DC converter. The proposed converter perform zero voltage switching without an auxiliary switch, at both buck and boost operation. Also characteristics of the proposed topology are verified with experimental result. The feasibility of proposed topology is experimentally verified on a prototype 2[kW].

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of applied pressure and sintering temperature on the microstructure and mechanical properties for spark plasma sintering (SPS) from commercial pure titanium (CP-Ti) powders. Spark plasma sintering is a relatively new sintering technique in powder metallurgy which is capable of sintering metal and ceramic powers quickly to full density at a fairly low temperature due to its unique features. SPS of ?200 mesh or ?400 mesh CP-Ti powders was carried out in an Ar+H2 mixed gas flowing atmosphere between 650℃ and 750℃ under 10 to 80 MPa pressure. When SPS was carried out at relatively low temperatures (650℃ to 750℃), the high (>60 MPa) pressure had a marked effect on densification and grain growth suppression. The full density of titanium was achieved at temperatures and pressures above 700℃ and 60 MPa by spark plasma sintering. The crystalline phase and microstructure of titanium sintered up to 700℃ consisted of α-Ti and equiaxed grains. Vickers hardness ranging from 293 to 362 Hv and strength ranging from 304 to 410MPa were achieved for spark plasma sintered titanium.

This study describes the manufacturing method of antioxidant filter and evaluate the reduction of free radical and biological activity from mainstream smoke. When we used spray-brush for the application of antioxidant solution to the filter, cv(coefficient of variation) levels of antioxidant added to filter ranged within 3 %, which means stable and constant feeding process. 0.3~0.5mg per cigarette of antioxidant were sprayed to acetate and active carbon part in the filter plug, respectively. It was considered that the use of antioxidant added filter resulted in the reduction of the gaseous compounds of free radicals from 17 % to 19 % in the mainstream smoke. Variation for removal efficiency of free radical in antioxidant filter added to acetate part was more pronounced than that of filter added to active carbon part. Smoking deliveries of tar, nicotine for the antioxidant added filters were similar when comparing to the non-antioxidant added filter, but the delivering amounts of isoprene were significantly reduced. The estimation of consumed GSH(glutathion) showed that the gaseous toxicity of the antioxidant added filter was 14 % ~ 23 % lower than that of non-antioxidant added filter. No significant differences were observed for the total taste quality in sensory evaluation.

In this paper, bi-directional DC/DC converter using a LC series resonant converter is proposed. A proposed converter is consisted by adding LC series resonant tank into a conventional bi-directional DC/DC converter and performs soft-switching at both boost and buck mode. A LC series resonance occurs in whole operation mode and switching point is determined by specific condition. Through the theoretical analysis and simulation results, operation modes and characteristics of the proposed topology is verified.
