Although the tasks are being mechanized or automated today, many tasks are still performed manually in several indeustrial settings and low back pain has been a social and economic problem. In this study, five machine repair tasks are selected from one manufacturing company in Pohang, which are accountable for relatively high complaints of low back pain. The purpose of this study is to quantitatively evaluate the hazards of the tasks, and finally to recommend the improved methods and guidelines for safe work practices. For most of the tasks under study, workers were found to be exposed to relatively high stresses in low back, mainly due to the heavy objects handled and the improper working postures.

최근 정부 공사를 중심으로 기술경쟁이 가능한 설계시공일괄 입찰방식이 확대 적용되고 있는 추세이며 이러한 시장의 변화에 따라서 그 중요성이 더욱 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 일반적으로 설계시공일괄방식의 단위 건설사업 생애주기는 기획, 기본 설계, 입찰, 계약, 상세설계, 착공, 시공, 준공, 평가의 진행단계를 가지게 된다. 계약자의 측면에서 주무부서의 잦은 변화로 효율적인 프로젝트 관리와 일관성 있는 정보의 공유가 어려워지는 문제점이 드러나고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 기존의 주무부서에 따른 기능 중심의 관리 체계에서, 프로젝트 중심의 관리 프로세스 체계로의 전환이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 필요성에 따라 단위 프로젝트의 진행단계별 관리 프로세스 모델 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해서 설계시공일괄방식의 진행단계별 주요 관리 쟁점과 의사결정 사항, 업무 분석을 하였고, 진행단계별 관리 주제의 책임 및 권한과 주요 관리 포인트의 변화를 분석하여 체계화 하였다. 프로젝트 특성별 및 진행단계별 연결고리가 되는 핵심 정보를 정의 하고 정보의 흐름을 분석하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 최종적으로 발주계획 수립 단계부터 실시설계 심의 단계까지의 업무 프로세스를 모델링하고 각 수행 주체별 업무프로세스를 모델링 하여 단위 프로젝트의 진행단계별 관리 프로세스 모델을 개발하였다. In public project market, design-build projects have been increased because of market trend change which enables technical competition. In this condition, its importance is also getting important. Generally, life cycle of design-build project consists of planning, preliminary design, procurement, contract, detail design, start of construction, construction, end of construction, and evaluation. From contractor's viewpoint, it has problems such as difficulties in project management and information sharing because of frequent change of charged division. To solve these problems, it is desirable to change from function-based management system to process-based management system. The purpose of this study is to develop management process model for design-build project by progress phases. This study analyzed main conflicts and decision making factors of each stage in design-build projects, then systemized management subjects' responsibilities and management points' change. And also this study defined the key information that is the key point by project characteristics and progress phases. Based on this analysis, this study did business process modeling from planning stage to construction design check stage. At last, we proposed the way to manage business process by design-build project progress.

Manual materials handling tasks are the main risk factors for the work-related musculoskeletal disorders. Many assistant tools for manual materials handling are being used in various kind of industries. One of them is a 4-wheeled cart which is widely used in manufacturing factories, hospitals, etc. The major force required to control the 4-wheeled cart is pushing and pulling. There are two types of handles being used for the 4-wheeled cart : vertical type (two vertical handles), and horizontal type (one horizontal handle). This study tried to investigate the pushing forces and subjective discomforts (hand/writst, shoulder, low back, and overall) of the two handle types with different handle height and distance conditions. Twelve healthy male students (mean age = 23.4 years) participated in the experiment. The independent variables were handle angle (horizontal, vertical), handle height (low, medium, high), and handle distance (narrow, medium, wide). The full factorial design was used for the experiment and the maximum pushing forces were measured in 18 different conditions (2×3×3). Analysis of variance (ANOVA) procedure was conducted to test the effects of the independent variables on the pushing force and discomfort levels. Handle height and angle were found to be the critical design factors that affect the maximal pushing forces and subjective discomfort. In the middle height, subjects exerted higher pushing forces, and experience lower discomfort levels compared to the high, and low height. There was no statistical influence of the handle distance to the pushing forces and subjective discomfort levels. It was found out that the effects of the handle angle (horizontal and vertical) on both pushing force and subjective discomfort were statistically significant (p < 0.05). The vertical handle revealed higher pushing force and lower discomfort level than the horizontal handle. The reason for that was thought to be the different postures of the hand when grasping the handles. The horizontal handle induced pronaton of the hand and made hand posture more deviated from the neutral position.

The systematic material management of curtain wall should be established on accomplished EVM data. The matrix method of integrated cost and schedule was used with common category concept according to the construction project control system. The material management was suggested through analyzing curtain wall process and data model using integrated cost, schedule and material. In this study, the material management of curtain wall based on historical data to the related EVM is proposed. This Material management of curtain wall model can provide a standard process and data which are related to the integrated cost, schedule data.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the causal relationship between the variables related to media sports violence viewing experience, negative emotion, aggression and violent imitation behavior of middle school students and high school students. The subjects of 240 middle school students and 240 high school students were surveyed for 2 months. Among the collected data, 64 samples judged to have low reliability were excluded from the analysis, and the final 416 data were used. The questionnaire used in this study consisted of four potential variables including experience of watching media sports violence, negative emotion, aggression, and violent imitation behavior. Among the sub-variables of experience of watching media sports violence, exogenous potential variables except frequency, period and time and questions that are endogenous potential variables were composed of a questionnaire of 5-point Likert scale. results of this study were analyzed using the AMOS statistical program, which was used to identify the causal relationship between watching media sports violence and negative emotion, aggression, and violent imitation behavior. There was no significant difference in violent imitation behavior according to school grade. The causal models for media sports violence viewing experience, negative emotions, aggression and violent imitation behavior were found to be appropriate. It was found that there was a significant causal relationship between the viewing experience of sports violence and the violent imitation behavior. Therefore, in order to reduce the imitation behavior of adolescents, it is necessary to be more careful about the production and viewing of sports violence programs at the institutions and homes that produce media.
