최근 1인 가구가 급증함에 따라 1인 가구에서 애완동물을 기르는 가정도 증가하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 두 가지 MCU를 사용하여 1인 가구와 애완동물 중 가장 비중이 많은 애완견의 초점을 두고 음성과 IoT를 결합하여 사용자가 더 편리하고 효과적으로 관리할 수 있는 스마트 펫 하우스를 제안하였다. 제안한 시스템은 라즈베이파이는 Google Assistant API를 사용하여 사용자의 음성을 음성인식 모듈인 Voice Bonnet에서 Speech to text로 데이터를 전송받아 음성인식으로 센서들을 제어하고, 아두이노에서는 라즈베리파이에서 직렬 Serial 통신으로 데이터를 전송받아서 LED, 서보 모터, 파이 캠, 온 · 습도센서, 수위 센서들을 제어하여 애완견에 맞는 스마트 펫 하우스를 구현하였다. With the recent surge in single-person households, the number of single-person households is also increasing. n this paper, we proposed a smart pet house where users can manage more conveniently and effectively by combining voice and IoT with the focus of single-person households and pets, especially dog, using two MCUs. The proposed system used the Google Assistant API to send data from Voice Bonnet, the voice recognition module, to Speech to Text to control the sensors, while Arduino received data from Raspberry Pi via serial communication to implement the smart pet house that fit the LEDs, servo motors, pie cams, on- and humidity sensors.

지리산국립공원 반달가슴곰은 2004년부터 러시아 연해주, 북한, 중국 동북부 일대와 서식지외 보전기관인 서울대공원에서의 재도입을 통해 복원사업을 진행하고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 배설물을 통해 식이물을 분석하여 반달가슴곰의 먹이습성, 지리산국립공원에서의 먹이 자원 환경을 파악하기 위함이다. 2005년부터 2013년 사이에 무선 위치 모니터링이 가능한 반달가슴곰 배설물 78점을 채집하여 먹이원을 분석한 결과 상대출현빈도는 식물이 77%로 가장 높게 나타났고, 곤충 12.8%, 포유류 5.6%, 기타 3.6%, 조류 0.5%, 절지동물문 0.5%의 순이었다. 또한 수집한 배설물 중 건중량을 측정한 52점 대상으로 먹이 비(ratio)를 분석한 결과 식물이 91.2%로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 포유류 3.6%, 곤충류1.0%, 기타 4.2%의 순이었다. 배설물을 통한 먹이원 분석 연구 결과 지리산에 서식하는 반달가슴곰은 잡식성이며, 동물성 먹이보다 식물성 먹이가 주 먹이원인 것으로 확인할 수 있었다. Since 2004, Asiatic Black Bear of the Jirisan National Park is subjected to the restoration project through the re-introduction by the Maritime Province of Siberia in Russia, North Korea, Northeastern part of China and Seoul Grand Park. The purpose of this study is to analyze diets with scat to identify Asiatic Black Bear`s feeding habit and eating resources environment in the Jirisan National Park. 78 scats of Asiatic Black Bears were observed during the field studies of radio telemetry-marked bears and by chance in the Jrisan National Park, from 2005 to 2013. The relative frequency of occurrence demonstrated that the plants comprised the highest with 77%, followed by insects with 12.8%, mammals with 5.6%, birds with 0.5%, arthropoda with 0.5%, and others with 3.6%. Also, 52 scats among the collected scats that were measured for the ratio of food were subjected to dry weight, and plants were the highest with 91.2%, followed by mammals with 3.6%, insects with 1.0% and others with 4.2% in the order mentioned. Asiatic Black Bear`s feed research demonstrated that the Asiatic Black Bear at Jirisan is omnivorous and that the vegetable food is the main feed instead of animal feed.
국립공원 반달가슴곰 복원사업의 사회생태시스템 동태성 분석 및 관리계획

Jirisan National Park is a habitat for Asiatic black bears, but it is also a place for local residents and hikers to enjoy nature. Therefore, understanding of the social-ecological system formed by the interaction of nature and humans is becoming an important topic of the Asiatic black bear restoration project. Now, in addition to securing a quantitative population of bears, realizing the harmonious coexistence of wildlife and humans and restoring the health of the whole ecosystem and biological members, the setting of a new goal and a management plan should be established to manage the habitat environment of Asiatic black bears in consideration of the social-ecological system. In this study, we established a management plan based on the analysis of the social-ecological system of the Asiatic black bear restoration project at Mt. Jiri, using systematic thinking. The results of the study can be used to improve current management plans and establish new plans at the Species Restoration Center in the Korea National Park Service.
국내 산양(Naemorhedus caudatus) 암컷의 출산시기 행동 특성에 따른 분석 및 관리 방안

국제적 멸종위기종인 산양 암컷(n=6)의 출산시기 행동권 분석을 위해 2007년 3월부터 2014년 5월까지 설악산국립공원, 월악산국립공원 2지역에서 GPS collar 발신기를 이용하여 연구 수행하였다. 분석결과 출산시기에 따라 행동권의 변화를 확인하였다. MCP 95%에서 봄 1.00±1.00㎢ > 가을 0.66±0.30㎢ > 여름 0.61±0.40㎢ > 겨울 0.50±0.10㎢(F=4.240, p<0.05)로 분석되었으며, 월별분석은 5, 6, 7월에 급격이 행동권이 작아지는 특징을 보였으며, 통계적으로 유의적인 차이를 보였다(F=24.261, p<0.01). 이렇듯 행동권의 급격한 변화를 보인개체들은 새끼를 출산한 개체로 확인 되었고, 행동권이 급격히 작아지는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 평균 이용고도는 615.77±173.508m이며 출산개체와 비출산 개체 모두 큰 차이는 없었다. 이러한 분석을 통하여 출산 시기 등을 고려한 개체관리 및 복원에 적용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. To analyze the behavioral characteristics of Korea endangered species female gorals (n=6) during the period of birth, using GPS collar attached on their necks, we carried out this study in two areas (Seoraksan and Woraksan National park) from March 2007 to May 2014. According to our analysis there was a change in their home range during the period of birth. The home range of females (n=6) in MCP 95% was Spring (1.00±1.00㎢) > Autumn (0.66±0.30㎢) > Summer (0.61±0.40㎢) > Winter (0.50±0.10㎢) (F=4.198, p<0.05). In the monthly analysis, their home ranges were dramatically reduced in May, June and July. It showed a statistically significant difference (F=24.261, p<0.01). These gorals showing a drastic change in home ranges were identified as gorals having offspring individual and their home ranges were decreased. The average altitude was 615.77±173.508m and there was no significant difference in major change between parous and nonparous female gorals. Through this analysis, we expect that it can be applied to the goral management and restoration project considering the time of birth.

Carcinoid tumors of the rectum are relatively uncommon and comprise only about one percent of all rectal neoplasms. Typically, rectal carcinoids present as small, solitary submucosal nodules and have benign course. But, multicentricity is rare. The frequency of an associated second malignancy is about 13%. The explanation of the high frequency of other neoplasms associated with carcinoid tumors is still unclear. We have experienced two cases of multiple carcinoid tumors of the rectum, one was coexisted with adenocarcinoma of the sigmoid colon. They presented with mass on the right inguinal area and hematochezia. Carcnoids was found incidentally. Because the tumors measured 15 mm or less in diameter, did not infiltrate beyond the submucosal layer and had no histological atypia, carcinoids was treated by endoscopic polypectomy and mucosal resection. Thereafter, one underwent surgery for adenocarcinoma of the sigmoid colon. Herein we present our experience with reviewed literatures.
