변화출현확률이 시각단기기억 기반 변화탐지 수행에 미치는 영향

짧은 시차를 두고 출현하는 기억과 검사배열 사이에 차이 항목의 유무를 찾아내는 변화탐지 원리는 검사 배열 출현 시 기억항목들과 견주어 차이가 있는 한 항목을 탐색한다는 점에서 시각탐색 원리와 닮아있다. 본 연구는 두 과제 사이의 이러한 유사성을 배경으로, 시각단기기억 기반 변화탐지 과제에서 변화의 출현 가능성 증감이 변화탐지 반응의사결정에 미치는 영향 즉 변화출현확률 효과의 양상을 조사했다. 이를 위해 네 개의 색상 사각형에 뒤이어 출현한 또 다른 네 개의 색상 사각형 사이의 색상들을 비교해 색상 변화 항목의 유무를 판단하는 단순세부특징 변화탐지 과제를 실시했다. 변화 항목의 출현 가능성은 전체 시행 대비 20, 50 및 80% 확률로 처치되었으며 그에 따른 변화탐지 수행 오류와 탐지민감도 및 반응시간을 분석했다. 그 결과 변화 항목의 출현 가능성이 증가할수록 오경보는 증가하고 실수 반응은 감소했으며 정기각 반응시간 또한 지연된 것이 관찰되었다. 이 변화출현확률 효과는 시각탐색 과제에서 표적의 출현 가능성 증감에 따라 관찰되는 표적출현확률 효과와 매우 유사했으며 이는 두 효과를 초래하는 배경 원리가 서로 닮아있을 가능성을 시사한다. The way of change detection in which presence of a different item is determined between memory and test arrays with a brief in-between time interval resembles how visual search is done considering that the different item is searched upon the onset of a test array being compared against the items in memory. According to the resemblance, the present study examined whether varying the probability of change occurrence in a visual short-term memory-based change detection task can influence the aspect of response-decision making (i.e., change prevalence effect). The simple-feature change detection task in the study consisted of a set of four colored boxes followed by another set of four colored boxes between which the participants determined presence or absence of a color change from one box to the other. The change prevalence was varied to 20, 50, or 80% in terms of change occurrences in total trials, and their change detection errors, detection sensitivity, and their subsequent RTs were analyzed. The analyses revealed that as the change prevalence increased, false alarms became more frequent while misses became less frequent, along with delayed correct-rejection responses. The observed change prevalence effect looks very similar to the target prevalence effect varying according to probability of target occurrence in visual search tasks, indicating that the background principles deriving these two effects may resemble each other.

외국인 유학생의 비대면 교양수업 운영에 따른 인식조사 연구

목적 본 연구의 목적은 코로나 19 확산으로 인해 불가피하게 온라인 강의로 시행된 외국인 유학생의 비대면 교양수업에 대한 전반적인 인식을 조사하는데 있다. 방법 이를 위해 경기도에 소재한 A대학에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생을 대상으로 교양교육 만족도, 학습 환경, 수업 내용, 교수자와의 교류 및 평가의 적절성 간의 관계를 분석하였다. 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 결과 첫째, 연구변인의 평균분포가 평균 이상으로, 교양교육 만족도, 학습 환경, 수업 내용, 교수자와의 교류 및 평가의 적절성에 대해 보통 이상으로 만족하고 있었다. 둘째, 연구변인들 간에 높은 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 셋째, 외국인 유학생의 비대면 교양수업의 만족도에 미치는 상대적 영향을 살펴보기 위해 중다회귀분석을 실시한 결과 학습 환경과 평가의 적절성이 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 외국인 유학생의 교양수업에 대한 인식에 대해 개방형 설문을 통해 보다 심층적으로 분석하였다. 결론 본 연구결과가 외국인 유학생의 비대면 교양교육의 설계와 운영 개선을 위한 기초자료나 관련 정책의 참고자료로 활용되기를 기대한다. Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of foreign students’ general education courses conducted as online due to the spread of Coronavirus 19. Methods For this purpose, the relationship between satisfaction with general education, learning environment, class contents, professor-student relationships and appropriateness of evaluation was analyzed. Results The primary findings of this study were as follows. First, the average of the variables was above average, satisfaction with general education courses, learning environment, class contents, professor-student relationships and appropriateness of evaluation were above average. Second, there was a high positive correlation between the variables. Third, the results of multiple regression analysis were conducted to examine the relative effects of foreign students’ on satisfaction of online general education, the learning environment and appropriateness of evaluation had a significant effect. Fourth, an in-depth analysis was conducted on foreign students’ perceptions of online general education through an open questionnaire. Conclusions The results of this stud will be used as sources of establishing related polices and programs to promote for foreign students’ online general education.

외국인 유학생의 교양교육 만족도, 개인 정서, 수업 환경에 대한 인식 : A 대학을 중심으로

본 연구는 A대학에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생들의 교양교육에 대한 만족도, 개인 정서 및 수업 환경에 대한 인식에 대해 살펴봄으로써 교양교육 과정에 대한 실제적 요구를 파악하고 개선점을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 주요 연구 결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 교양교육의 만족도는 보통 이상 수준으로 나타났고, 교수자에 대한 만족도가 가장 높았다. 둘째, 개인 정서와 관련하여 수업에 대한 긴장감 및 부담감은 중간 이하로 그리 높지 않았으며, 수업 참여에 대한 적극성은 중간 이상으로 나타났다. 셋째, 수업 환경에 대한 인식에 대한 만족도는 중간 이상의 만족도를 보였다. 넷째, 모든 변인 간의 상관관계는 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 교양교육 만족도에 개인 정서 및 수업 환경에 대한 인식이 유의미하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과가 외국인 유학생의 교양교육 운영 개선을 대한 논의와 관련 정책의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다. This study aimed to identify practical needs and areas of improvement concerning the general education curriculum by examining the satisfaction, affective factors, and classroom environment regarding the general education of international students enrolled in A University. The primary findings of this study were as follows. First, overall satisfaction with general education was above average, and satisfaction with professors was high. Second, regarding affective factors, tension and burden related to the class as well as class participation were above average. Third, satisfaction with the classroom environment was above average. Fourth, the correlation between all the variables was relatively high, and affective factors and classroom environment had a significant influence on the satisfaction with general education. The results of this study can be used as sources for discussion and related policies to improve the operation of general education for international students.
