The purpose or this study was to compare body composition, circumferences, VO₂max, HRmax and lumbar bone mineral density(BMD) in Korean dancers, Modern dancers, Ballet and non-dancers. Twenty four females who are aged 16-17years participated in it. Measured items for this study were body composition, circumferences, VO₂max, HRmax and lumbar(L2, L3, L4) bone mineral density. All data were analyzed by One-way ANOVA of SPSS accepting level for all significances was above p<.05. In this study, there were no significant differences between groups on the body composition, circumference, HRrest, HRmax, and lumbar BMD were except VO₂max, On the other hand, Korean dancer group was the lowest level in BMD among groups but it has no significance.

Isokinetic evaluation of bilateral quadriceps and hamstrings at 60。, 180。, 240。/sec was performed using the isokinetic rehabilitation and testing system(Model No. Cybex 340) on 30 subjects composing 15 soccer players(Group 1) and 15 non-players(Group 2) with no significant differences in age, weight, height and percent body fat. The results were follows ; 1. There were signigficant differences in the mean peak torque of knee extensors and flexors in both gruops(dominant side). As the angular velocity increased, the peak torque was reduced, and there were no significant differences in the mean peak torque between right and left limbs. 2. In both groups, there were significant differences in the angle of extensors peak torque, however no significant differences in flexors. 3. There was significant difference between group 1 and 2 in the hamstrings to quadriceps ratio. As the angular velocity increased the hamstrings to quadriceps ratio was reduced. 4. In both groups, there were significant differences in average power, total work and endurance ratio at 240。/sec.
