학부생 비교과 프로그램 개발 실행연구 : A 대학 교육정책연구 학습동아리 프로그램을 중심으로

본 연구는 비교과 활동 프로그램으로 진행된 학부생 교육정책연구 학습동아리 프로그램 개발과정을 실행연구를 통하여 반성적으로 성찰함으로써 학생들에게 도움이 되는 효과적 비교과 프로그램의 개발·운영에 필요한 실천적 시사점을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구자들은 A대 교육학과에서 2017년 1학기부터 2018년 1학기까지 3학기 동안 ‘우문현답 프로그램’을 대상으로 운영과정에서의 참여관찰, 면담, 협의회 개최 및 설문조사 시행 등을 통해 다양한 자료를 수집·분석하였다. 분석결과 우문현답과 같은 비교과 프로그램의 효과적 운영을 위해서는 (1) 학습동아리의 성격을 명확히 하고 적극적 관심을 가진 학생 선발, (2) 리더십 역할을 수행할 경험 있는 고학번 학생들을 일정 비율 포함, (3) 학습동아리 규모는 학생들이 친밀감을 느끼며 상호 비평을 할 수 있는 10명 정도(2개 팀)로 운영, (4) 방학기간 중심으로 운영하되, 학기 중 사전 선발하여 주제 선정과 친목을 형성할 수 있도록 배려, (5) 학생들 스스로는 쉽게 할 수 없지만 해 보고 싶었던 프로그램 중심으로 운영, (6) 지나친 자율보다는 지도교수의 적절한 개입이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 연구 과정을 통해 연구자들은 향후‘실행연구’가 교육자들의 성찰적 자기 개선을 위한 도구로서 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다는 점도 함께 제시하였다. The purpose of this study was to offer the practical recommendations for developing a meaningful extra-curricular program for undergraduate students by self-reflecting the process of ‘educational policy studies program developing process’ as extra-curricular study group activities. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the results of participant observation, interviews with participants and evaluation survey of students of ‘Umunhyundap’ study group program from the 1st semester of 2017 to the 1st of 2018. The findings are as follows: (1) clarifying the study group’s purpose and activities and selecting students who are interested in participating, (2) selecting some junior and the senior students who had experience in leadership roles in their community, (3) operating as a group of around 10 students with 2 tasks that can interact with each other, (4) encouraging students to carry out research projects in the vacation period but giving some time to select the topic and build friendships with co-worker before the project starts, (5) progressing activities that cannot be easily done by oneself(ex. education field focused project, visiting local Ministry of Education, participating in an academic seminar), (6) the role of advice-professor as appropriate involvement. Through this research process, it is suggested that ‘action research’ can form an important research tool for educators to achieve self-reformation through self reflection.

COVID-19 상황 하의 온라인 수업에서 나타나는 상호작용의 특징과 영향요인 분석

목적 본 연구의 목적은 대학 실시간 온라인 수업에서 효과적인 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하여 향후 온라인 수업의 효율성을 높이기 위해 상호작용을 극대화 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는데 있다. 방법 온라인 수업에서 이루어지는 상호작용의 양상과 영향요인을 파악하기 위해 사례연구 방법을 활용하였다. 수도권 A 대학 교육학과의 강좌 중 강의 만족도가 높은 4개의 강의를 선정하여 심층면담을 수행하고자 하였다. 의도적 표집에 의해 각 강의의 교수자 4명과 학습자 14명을 면담 대상으로 선정하였다. 수집된 자료는 기노시타 야스히토의 수정 근거이론 접근법을 활용해 분석함으로써 자료가 지닌 맥락성을 훼손하지 않고 심층적인 의미를 생성할 수 있었다. 결과 연구결과 온라인 수업에서 나타나는 교수자-학습자 간 상호작용의 양상은 교실 내 물리적 거리가 없어져 모든 학생에게 균등한 소통의 기회가 부여됨, 수업 중 에듀테크를 활용해 다양한 방식의 상호작용을 수행하는 등의 특징을 보였다. 학습자-학습자 간 상호작용의 양상과 특징은 수업 내용 외 학생들 간 사회적 교류와 상호작용이 감소하는 등 부정적인 측면도 있었으나, 온라인 환경의 모둠 구성 용이성으로 인해 다양한 학습자와 상호작용이 가능하는 등의 긍정적인 특징도 나타났다. 다음으로 교수자-학습자 간 상호작용에 영향을 미친 요인은 ① 교수자의 교육관, 학습자의 동기와 같은 개인적 요인, ② 소회의실, 다양한 소통 도구 등의 활용과 같은 수업⋅기술적 요인이 있었다. 학습자-학습자 간 상호작용에 영향을 미친 요인은 ① 교수자의 적극적 개입, 학습자의 동기와 같은 개인적 요인, ② 소회의실 활동, 컴퓨터 활용과 같은 수업⋅기술적 요인이 있었다. 온라인이라는 수업 환경의 특성상 기술적 요인의 영향력이 컸으나, 사람 대 사람 사이에서 이루어지는 교육이라는 본질적인 특성으로 인해 교수자와 학습자 개인적 요인이 가장 중요한 영향요인으로 드러났다. 결론 향후 온라인 수업에서 교수자-학습자, 학습자-학습자 간 의미있는 상호작용을 촉진하기 위한 방안을 제언하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교수자의 디지털 리터러시 향상을 위해 학교 차원의 워크숍 제공이 필요하다. 둘째, 온라인 수업 초기 단계에서 학습자들 간 인간적 친밀감 형성을 위한 온/오프라인 만남의 기회를 제공해야 한다. 셋째, 교수자-학습자 간 정서적 유대감을 형성하기 위한 온/오프라인 만남의 기회가 확대되어야 한다. Objectives This study aims to deeply understand the features of interaction in online classes and influence factors affecting that interaction. The purpose of this study is to identify the features of interaction in online classes and influence factors and to suggest how to lead effective online classes by maximizing the interaction. Methods Case study method was used to achieve the purpose of this study. Four classes of Department of Education in A university were selected as subjects which have high score of students’ satisfaction. Four lecturers and fourteen students were sampled by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed by Yasuhito Kinoshita’s Modified Grounded Theory Approach. Results The results show that features of online classes are as follows. First, regarding interaction between professor and students, all students can get equal chances to communicate with professor because the physical distance between them becomes equal. Also, they can interact more frequently and effectively by using various edu-technology. Second, regarding interaction among students, social interaction decreases, which is not related to classroom activity or contents. On the other hand, students can interact with various peers because online class platform enables divers grouping. Next, factors of online classes are categorized as personal factor and instructional technological factor. The former is professor’s educational viewpoints, students’ motivation. The latter is using private meeting rooms and various communication tools. Due to the innate property of online class, technological factors seem influential, but personal factors have the greatest effects because of the nature of education. Conclusions Based on these results, there are some suggestions for maximizing interaction in online class. First, university-level workshops on online class should be provided to improve professor’s digital competence. Second, various meeting through online or offline should be done at the beginning of the semester to build rapport among students and between professor and students.
