Statement of problem : Magnesium oxide may increase pH of alginate, and supply magnesium ions to the polymerization reaction of alginate. Purpose : This study was designed to evaluate the influence of incorporation of magnesium oxide to alginate composition. Material and Method : Seven kinds of experimental alginates were prepared and used for the experiments. Components with unchanging concentrations were sodium alginate 15%, calcium sulfate 14%, sodium phosphate 2%, and zinc fluoride 3%. Contents of magnesium oxide were varied as 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%. Diatomaceous earth were added to each experimental groups as balance to be 100%. Control group was a MgO 0% group. Working time, setting time, elastic recovery strain in compression, compressive strength and tear resistance were measured were measured. Sample size for each groups were 10. Arithmetic means were used as each groups representative values. Regression test between MgO contents and results, Duncan's multiple range test, and One-way ANOVA test were done between groups at level of 0.05. Results : 1 Magnesium oxide made the working time and setting time as longer(p<0.0001). 2 Magnesium oxide did not alter the elastic recovery(p>0.05). 3. Magnesium oxide contents between 2% and 4% exhibited the lowest strain in compression on alginates(p<0.0001). 4. Magnesium oxide made the compressive strength and the tear resistance stronger(p<0.0001). Conclusion : These results mean that setting time of alginate maybe controlled and that mechanical properties maybe improved by the incorporation of magnesium oxide into alginate, without any reduction of elasticity.

The purpose of this study were to compare the condylar path and the anterior angle of glenoid fossae, and analyze the condylar path, and classify the patterns of condylar path. Thirty-three male and female dental students with normal occlusion and masticatory system ranging in age from 24 to 27, without present symptoms and any history of TM joint disturbance, were selected for this study. Then, sixty-six TM joint were examed. Transcranial radiographs of TM joint and Cephalometric radiographs under mandibular protrusive movement were obtained. They were taken at six positions on protrusive movement. The results obtained were as follows : 1. The sequence of the frequeny of condylar movement patterns were concave curve, "S"shape curve, convex curve, and reverse "S"shape. 2. The horizontal distance of the greatest changed position of condylar angle averaged 2.6mm. 3. The condylar path angle averaged 36.91 degree. 4. The angle of the anterior slope of glenoid fossae averaged 37.28 degree. 5. The distance fo condylar movement averaged 5.98mm and the distance of condylar horizontal movement averaged 4.71mm. 6. The slope of articular eminence was correlated to the condyalr path and three were no significant differences between right and left side of the anterior slope of articular eminence, and the condyalr path angle.
SCORM-ACAP 상호운용 기반의 T-Learning 콘텐츠 및 운용환경 개발

최근 IT를 포함한 모든 산업 및 기술 영역에서는 표준화 활동을 기반으로 하여 융복합화(Convergence) 면상이 두드러지고 있다. 이는 또한 e-Learning 산업 및 기술에서도 큰 화두이다. 현재 e-Learning 표준화에서 시장에서 주도권을 행사하고 있는 것은 ADL의 SCORM 규격이다. 데이터방송 영역에서는, 북미에서 지상파와 케이블TV간 콘텐츠 호환성 확보를 위해 ATSC 와 케이블랩(Cable Labs)이 공동 연구 중인 ACAP을 통해서 지상파-케이블 공통 표준화가 진행 중이다. 이에 본 논문은 e-Learning 산업 및 기술에서의 융복합화의 일 영역으로 그리고 방송통신융합서비스의 일환으로 인터넷기반 학습 환경과 TV 기반 학습 환경에서의 학습 콘텐츠 (및 코스웨어) 상호운용성에 대해 연구하였다. 이를 위하여 인터넷 기반의 e-Learning의 사실상의 표준으로 반아들여지고 있는 SCORM 규격과 DTV 환경 기반의 데이터방송 지상파-케이블 공통 규격인 ACAP간의 상호운용 API 개발을 통하여, SCORM 규격과 ACAP 규격의 상호운용성을 가능하게 하는 학습 콘텐츠 및 T-Learning 운용환경을 연구ㆍ개발하였다.
(Bi_xSb_1-x)NbO₄Ceramic System의 소결온도에 따른 Raman Spectrum

Raman spectra for the sintering temperature variation of BiNbO₄ceramics and SbNbO₄ceramics were investigated. As a result, Raman spectra of BiNbO₄ceramics were very stable in the range 900℃-1000℃ and 1100℃-1190℃, Raman spectra of SbNbO₄ceramics were stable in the range 975℃-1000℃. On the bases of the results, Raman spectra for the sintering temperature variation of (Bi_xSb_1-x)NbO₄ceramic systems (0.1≤x≤0.9) were examined.
