        한국무용의 교육내용은 무엇인가? - 기능의 차원과 정신의 차원-

        What is the content of Korean Dance Education? There are two aspects; the technical and the spiritual. However, it is primarily the technical aspect which is focused on as the main educational content. The spiritual aspect has an important value as well and is also the core essence of Korean Dance. Therefore the concentration in both Korean Dance and Korean Dance Education must extend beyond mere technique. The purpose of this study is to identify that the content of Korean Dance has two aspects. I stress the need of interest on the spiritual aspect in Korean Dance Education. First of all, I look into studies about the content of Korean Dance Education by and large. Second, I examine technique closely as the main content of Korean Dance Education and consider the problem. Third, I identify the technical and the spiritual aspects involved in Korean Dance Education content. Fourth, I explore the meaning of spirit as an educational content in detail. Finally, I emphasize that dance teacher is the key factor in teaching the spiritual aspect, and suggest various factors involved in the teaching method.

        사회과학연구 : 광고의 시각적 요소 표현방식에 따른 광고효과; 시각적 요소의 기대불일치를 중심으로

        Visual elements are one of the first elements that can make consumers give attention to an advertisement. In addition, visual elements also play the central role independently. However, visual elements have been considered as the secondary factor to verbal elements in advertising. In other words, advertising effects of visual elements were just considered in terms of its supporting role for processing the verbal elements in advertising. Therefore, this study tried to identify the advertising effects of visual elements to the exclusion of verbal elements. This study focused on incongruity in order to expand the expression method of visual elements. Previous studies explained incongruity effect based on the interaction between the two aspects, relevancy and expectancy. This study assumed that the advertising effect of visual elements could be verified by controlling relevancy and expectancy of visual elements. For this objective, this study conducted a series of experiments with relevancy and expectancy as the independent variables as well as the amount of cognition and attitude toward the advertisement as dependent variables. In this process, this study defined relevancy into the concept “brand-consumer relevancy” The results showed that the level of attitude toward the advertisement with incongruity was higher in case that the level of “brand-consumer relevancy” was high. This indicates that “brand-consumer relevancy” affects consumers for interpreting the incongruent visual images of the advertisement. Therefore this results imply that there can be differences in advertising effect according to relevancy and expectancy of the advertisement. This study identified the differences in advertising effects only focusing on relevancy and expectancy of visual elements. Furthermore, this study provided a new standard of incongruity by suggesting the concept of brand-consumer relevancy. Finally, the results of this study will contribute to expanding the roles of visual elements in various types of advertising media.

        문화예술교육, 어떻게 해야 하나요? - 링컨센터 인스티튜트의 교육방법론 탐색

        There is rising interest about Arts and Culture education. The outside demand for Arts and Culture education requests practical methodology. The inside, Arts and Culture education community, has reflected quantitative increase without substance, so they need methodology of Arts and Culture education desperately. For providing a high-quality Arts and Culture education, it is needed specific methodology including philosophy, contents, methods, and so on. Lincoln Center Institute(LCI) is a meaningful model because of its systematic framework. The purpose of this study is to explore the education of LCI as an specific methodology for Arts and Culture education. It will help us to make strong system of Korea Arts and Culture education, and develop high-quality programmes. First of all, I look into problems of Arts and Culture education. Second, I explore philosophical logic of LCI. Third, I analyze the methodology of LCI. Fourth, I explore applications for Korea Arts and Culture education. And lastly, I suggest some proposals for future direction of study.

        심성교육을 위한 한국무용 교육내용의 구조화

        우리 사회는 ‘마음(心)’과 관련된 다양한 문제로 얼룩져 있으며, 이는 교과교육을 통한 심성교육을 요청한다. 본 연구는 심성교육을 위한 한국무용 교육내용을 탐색하고 구조화함으로써, 한국무용을 통한 심성교육을 실현하는데 궁극적인 목적이 있다. 질적연구방법에 근거하여, 궁중·종교·민속무용 영역의 교수자 9명과 학습자 9명을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 자료 수집을 위해 문헌분석, 심층면담, 비참여관찰의 방법을 활용하였다. 그 결과 심성교육을 위한 한국무용의 교육내용은 크게 지성, 감성, 덕성, 영성적 차원으로 범주화되며,각 차원에는 2가지 내용요소, 그리고 이를 이루는 세부내용요소가 포함되는 것으로 나타났다. 첫째, 지성적차원은 ‘춤을 관통하는 사상관과 심미관을 이해하고, 나아가 이러한 관점으로 다양한 현상을 이해하고 판단하는 것’으로, ‘사상관(思想觀)’과 ‘심미관(審美觀)’의 교육내용으로 세분화된다. 둘째, 감성적 차원은 ‘춤을 출때 자신의 감정을 감지하고 다스리며, 나아가 삶에서 자신의 감정을 감지하고 다스릴 수 있는 것’으로, ‘유정(有情)’과 ‘무정(無情)’의 교육내용으로 세분화된다. 셋째, 덕성적 차원은 ‘춤에서 지향하는 사덕과 공덕을 내면화하고, 나아가 인간적인 삶의 문제에서 이러한 태도를 견지하는 것’으로 ‘사덕(私德)’과 ‘공덕(公德)’의 교육내용으로 세분화된다. 넷째, 영성적 차원은 ‘모든 것을 초월하고 자신만의 춤을 추며, 나아가 삶에서 자유를 만끽하고 자신의 참 모습을 드러내는 것’으로 ‘초월(超越)’과 ‘실현(實現)’의 교육내용으로 세분화된다. 이는 한국무용을 통한 심성교육의 구체적인 방향성을 제공하며, 장르와 작품에 따라서 교육내용이 선정되어야 함을 시사한다. 나아가 한국무용을 통한 심성교육의 가능성을 엿볼 수 있게 해준다. These days, our society has many problems resulted from ‘spirit’ of human beings. It requires spirit education through subject matter education. The primary purpose of this study is to explore and structuralize the educational contents of Korean Dance for spirit education. Based qualitative research method, I implemented the study with participants, 9 teachers and 9 students of three genres(Court Dance, Religion Dance, Folk Dance). For data collection, I conducted literature analysis, in-depth interview, non-participant observation. As a result, educational contents of Korean Dance for spirit education are divided into four dimensions, and each dimension is included two educational contents. First, the intellectual dimension means understanding the perspective of philosophy and beauty of Korean Dance, moreover,understanding and judging various phenomenon of life by this perspective. Second, the emotional dimension means sensing and controling own emotion through Korean Dance, moreover, sensing and controling own emotion in their life. Third, the moral dimension means internalizing the private and public virtues expressed Korean Dance, moreover, keeping this attitude about problem of life. Fourth, the spiritual dimension means transcending everything and dancing own style, moreover, enjoying freedom fully and exposing who they really are in life.

        한국무용 잘 가르치기

        최근 한국문화에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 한국의 다양한 문화를 재조명하고, 그 가치를 발견할 때이다. 한국무용은 우리민족의 깊은 정신이 담긴 문화유산임에도 불구하고, 겉으로 보이는 측면만이 부각되어 왔다. 한국무용에 내재된 핵심적이며 본질적 측면인, ``한국무용정신``에 관심을 가지고 이를 잘 가르치기 위해 노력을 기울여야 한다. 본 연구는 한국무용정신을 핵심적 교육내용으로 바라보고, 이를 위한 교수방법을 탐색하고자 한다. 질적연구방법에 근거하여, 학교·전문·생활 무용 영역의 교수자 8인과 학습자 6인을 대상으로 연구를 실시하였다. 자료 수집을 위해 문헌분석, 예비조사, 심층면담, 설문조사의 방법을 활용하였다. 연구 참여자들이 활용하는 한국무용정신 교수방법을 분석한 결과, 첫째, 한국무용정신을 가르치기 위해 직접교수방법과 간접교수방법이 혼용되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 직접교수방법에는 직접교정, 문답설명, 상상유도, 적극시범, 집중연습의 방법이 있으며, 간접교수방법에는 체험권유, 음악감지, 성찰자극, 환경조성, 인성전이의 방법이 있다. 둘째, 한국무용정신의 각 차원, 즉 신체적, 인지적, 감성적, 영성적 차원에 따라 독특하게 발견되는 교수방법이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 신체적 차원에는 직접교정, 인지적 차원에는 문답설명, 감성적 차원에는 음악감지, 영성적 차원에는 환경조성과 인성전이의 방법이 활용되고 있다. 셋째, 각 차원에 따라 교수방법의 비중이 다소 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 신체적, 인지적, 감성적 차원의 교수를 위해서는 문답설명의 방법이 많이 활용되며, 영성적 차원의 교수를 위해서는 적극시범의 방법이 주로 활용되고 있다. 마지막으로 한국무용정신의 교수방법에 대한 비판적 검토와 성찰, 다양한 교육 프로그램의 개발, 양질의 교사교육 프로그램의 마련이 필요함을 제언한다. The interest about Korean culture has been rising recently. It is the time to shed new light on various culture of Korea, and discover real value. Although Korean Dance is a cultural heritage having deep spirit of Korean, the superficial aspect has been only focused. We have to get interested in Korean Dance Spirit(KDS), the essence, and make efforts to teach it. We considered KDS as the essence content, and explored teaching methods for it. Based qualitative research method, We implemented the study with participants, the teachers and students of various dance education fields. For data collection, We conducted literature analysis, pilot test, interview, and survey. As a result, first, they used not only direct teaching but indirect teaching methods. There are ``correcting directly``, ``explaining with dialogue``, ``leading imagination``, ``demonstrating actively``, ``practice intensively`` in direct teaching methods, and ``recommending indirect experiences``, ``sensing music``, ``stimulating introspection``, ``making environment``, ``showing character`` in indirect teaching methods. Second, the unique method is discovered according to each dimension. It is ``correcting directly`` in Physical dimension, ``explaining with dialogue`` in Cognitive dimension, ``sensing music`` in Emotional dimension, ``making environment`` and ``showing character`` in Spiritual dimension. Third, the portion of method has difference between each dimension. They used mainly ``explaining with dialogue`` for physical, intellectual, emotional dimension, but ``demonstrating actively`` for spiritual dimension. Lastly, We suggest critical examination of teaching methods for KDS, developing educational programmes, and providing teacher education programmes.

        노인 하지불안증후군에서의 인지기능 저하

        Objectives: Cognitive impairment in restless legs syndrome (RLS) patients can be affected by sleep deprivation, anxiety and depression, which are common in RLS. The objective of this study is to investigate relationship between cognitive impairment and RLS in the non-medicated Korean elderly with controlling for psychiatric conditions. Method: The study sample for this study comprised 25 non-medicated Korean elderly RLS patients and 50 age-, sex-, and education- matched controls. All subjects were evaluated with comprehensive cognitive function assessment tools- including the Korean version of Consortium to Establish a Registry for Alzheimer's Disease Assessment Packet (CERAD-K), severe cognitive impairment rating scale (SCIRS), frontal assessment battery (FAB), and clock drawing test (CLOX). Sleep quality and depression were also assessed with Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) and geriatric depression scale (GDS). Results: PSQI and GDS score showed no difference between RLS and control group. There was no significant difference between two groups in nearly all the cognitive function except in constructional recognition test, in which subjects with RLS showed lower performance than control group (t=-2.384, p=0.02). Subjects with depression ($GDS{\geq}10$) showed significant cognitive impairment compared to control in verbal fluency, Korean version of Mini Mental Status Examination in the CERAD-K (MMSE-KC), word list memory, trail making test, and frontal assessment battery (FAB). In contrast, no difference was observed between subjects who have low sleep quality (PSQI>5) and control group. Conclusions: At the exclusion of the impact of insomnia and depression, cognitive function was found to be relatively preserved in RLS patients compared to control. Impairment of visual recognition in RLS patients can be explained in terms of dopaminergic dysfunction in RLS.

        껍데기와 알맹이 -교육내용으로서 한국무용정신의 구성요소 탐색

        There is rising interest about the core of Korean Dance Education. Many people have pointed that teaching and learning are focused on the technical. We have to get out of movement education focusing the technical to be dance education as art education. It can be first step to identify the character of educational content and method for teaching Korean Dance as art education. The purpose of this study is to explore the components of dance spirit as core educational content of Korean Dance Education. We chose the qualitative research method. Based on reputational sampling selection, 9 people were chosen having knowledge, experiences, and sight about Korean Dance and education. Results are that Korean Dance Spirit as core educational content are composed of Physical, Cognitive, Emotional, Spiritual dimensions. First, ``hysical dimension``is related to the technique and the bodily, anatomical knowledge to movement contained. Second, ``Cognitive dimension``is related to the understanding of history, philosophy, religion, art, and literature on Korean Dance. Third, ``Emotional dimension``is related to a dancer `expression of their feelings and emotions interpreted through movement and music. Fourth, ``Spiritual dimension``is related to ``enlightenment``that a dancer could achieve. Finally, we suggest study detail about how the components of Korean Dance Spirit are taught and learned. Also, it is necessary to study methods teaching right Korean Dance Spirit, and integrative programmes.
