        듀이 종교론에 함의된 종교교육의 성격 : 삶에서 종교성 회복을 위한 교육 An educational endeavor to take religion back to the living world

        본 연구는 듀이의 종교론과 종교적 경험의 성격을 살펴봄으로써 종교교육에 대한함의를 이끌어 내는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 듀이는 초월적인 신이 존재하지는 않지만 인간의 경험에는 '종교적' 특징을 가지고 있다고 주장한다. 즉 경험 속에는 경험의 종교적 양태가 들어 있다. 그리고 사람들은 종교적 경험의 양태를 통해서 삶의 총체적이상을 형성하게 된다. 총체적 이상은 개인이 가지고 있는 최고로 가치로운 상태이기때문에 개인은 총체적 이상에 대해 헌신하는 마음을 갖게 된다. 또한 이상적으로 볼 때에 삶의 총체적 이상을 갖게 될 때 사람들은 심리적인 측면에서 신과 하나가 된다는 자아의 확대감과 신으로부터 털리 떨어져 있다는 자아의 빈곤감을 동시에 느끼게 된다. 또한 논리적인 측면에서 보면 총체적인 삶의 재구성은 계속해서 이루어지게 된다. 삶으로서 교육이라는 관점에서 보면 교육과 종교교육은 하나가 된다. 이때 교육은 특정 종교적 신념을 가르치는 것이 아니라 삶 자체의 종교화를 뜻한다. 즉 이상적으로 볼 때에 교육은 삶의 경험 속에 교육은 삶의 경험 속에 내재되어 있는 종교성을 드러내는 것이며 학습자에게 종교적 짧의 형식을 길러주는 것이다. The purpose of this study is to bring out Dewey's idea of religious education which is implied in his conception of religion. For Dewey, an empirical naturalist, there is no such thing as the divine reality or God. Therefore, he does not agree on the traditional view of religion-the identification of the divine and religious experience narrowly with the objects and practices of institutional religions. He makes a conceptual distinction between religion and religious. Religion, as a noun substantive, denotes a variety of religions which entail a special body of institutionalized beliefs, practices, and organization. In contrast, religious, as an adjective, refers to a quality of experience. Religious quality of experience can be characterized by four aspects. 1) With his denial to the reasonableness of traditional religion, Dewey acknowledges that religious quality of experience can be found in the ordinary course of human experience. Dewey's major intention is not to propose a new religion, but to emancipate human experience with religious quality from the control of outdated beliefs of religions. 2) Each experience has its own problem to solve and adjust. However, meaningful human experience has the tendency to adjust ourselves to the whole scope of experience or the whole world in which we live and to the world which is more inclusive and deepseated, This kind of experience is named religious experience. Religious experience enables us to make our lives consistent and systematic. Thus it is requisite to meaningful human life. 3) It is due to religious mode of experience or religious mode of thought to adjust ourselves to the whole. By utilizing religious mode, we can formulate the idea of God. God represents a unity of all ideals arousing us to desire and actions, or a unification of ideal possibilities and values. Also the mode presents us the emotion to devote ourselves to the unification. 4) The nature of religious life can be examined in two dimensions: psychological and logical. The psychological aspect of religious life can be analyzed in two ways: positive and negative. Positively, the life is described as 'the extending sense of self'-the sense that a self approaches very closely and identifies with God. Negatively, it is represented as 'the extreme sense of poverty'-the state of mind which integrate Socrates' with St. Francisco of Assisi's state of mind. From the logical dimension, the whole ideal can be continuously organized for the lifetime with the development of experience. Making a new whole ideal is equal to the process of education in the sense that it means to discover and enlarge a new meaning of life. Thus, religious quality of experience is an attribute to education by experience. In conclusion, Dewey's idea of religious education is generally identified with his conception of education by experience. Only, religious education put emphasis upon cultivating and applying to religious mode of thought in the process of education and upon developing the above-mentioned characteristics. Dewey's idea of religious education can be epitomized by recovery of religious quality of experience from the grip of traditional religions and taking religious life back to the living world.

        전 위장관을 침범하고 호산구성 복수를 동반한호산구성 위장염 1예

        호산구성 위장염은 말초혈액에서 호산구 증가와 위장관에 호산구의 병적 침윤이 특징인 원인 미상의 질환이다. 위장관 내 호산구 침윤 부위에 따라 점막형과 근층형, 장막형으로 분류된다. 장막층을 침범하는 경우는 드물며 복수의 발생이 특징적이다. 저자들은 복통을 주소로 내원한 34세 여자에서 호산구성 복수를 동반하고 식도부터 직장까지 위장관 전 범위에 걸쳐 호산구가 침윤된 호산구성 위장염을 경험하였기에 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

        Formocresol에 의한 치조골 괴사의 치험례 : CASE REPORT

        유치의 치수절단술에 사용되는 약제로는 formocresol, ferric sulfate, 수산화칼슘 등이 있다. 그 중에서 formocresol은 치수조직의 고정능력과 높은 임상적 성공을 보임으로써 아직까지 널리 사용되고 있으나 자체독성이 매우 강하여 영구 계승치 치배의 변위나 결손, 법랑질 형성부전, 전신 흡수로 인한 돌연변이 가능성과 암유발 가능성 역시 보고되고 있다. 최근에는 formocresol의 근관내 적용시 불완전한 임시충전에 의한 미세누출로 주위 치은과 치조골의 괴사를 야기한 보고가 있으며, 과잉의 formocresol을 적용하였을 경우에도 치조골의 괴사의 원인이 될 수 있다고 하였다. 본 증례는 개인치과에서 formocresol을 이용한 치수치료를 받은 후 지속되는 동통으로 인해 상악 좌측 제 2유구치를 발거하였으나. 증상이 개선되지 않아 본원에 의뢰되었다. 환아는 8세 남아로 심한 구취 및 계승 영구치 치관 주위로 환형의 치조골 괴사를 보여 부골절제술을 시행하고 1년 7개월간 관찰을 하였을 때. 정상적인 치근 성장은 이루어졌으나 결손된 치조골 및 부착치은의 완전한 조직재생 소견은 관찰되지 않았다. Formocresol에 의한 치주조직에 대한 부작용은 비가역적이므로 formocresol의 사용에 있어 적응증 여부를 잘 판단해야하며, 철저한 임시 가봉에 주의를 기울여야 할 것이다. Various chemotherapeutic agents have been recommended for pulpotomy of primary teeth, and there are formocresol, ferric sulfate, and calcium hydroxide. Of those, formocresol has fixation effect of pulp tissue and high clinical success rate, so it is most commonly used agent. But formocresol has strong cytotoxic effects, thus many articles reported displacement and loss of permanent successor, amelogenesis imperfecta, mutation by general absorption, possibility of cancer induction. Recently, it has been reported that leakage by imperfect temporary sealing when FC-soaked cotton was inserted into the root canal caused necrosis of surrounding tissues, and that necrosis of alveloar bone related to the use of excessive formocresol. In this case, 2nd primary molar of upper left jaw was treated using formocresol in local clinic, but extracted because of lasting pain, Furthermore, symptoms didn't disappear, so patient was refered to us. The patient was 8-year-old male, had foul oder from oral cavity and circular alveolar bone necrosis around the permanent successor crown. Thus sequestrectomy was operated and observed through 19 months after operation, we found normal root development of permanent successor but no complete regeneration of alveolar bone defect and attached gingiva. Lesion of periodontal tissues by formocresol is irrelversible, so we have to confirm the indication in using formocresol and pay attention to complete temporary sealing.

        Effects of Incubation Temperature on Egg Development, Hatching and Pigment Plug Evacuation in Farmed Siberian Sturgeon Acipenser baerii

        Early ontogenic development in Siberian sturgeon Acipenser baerii was documented and the effects of different temperatures on embryonic and prelarval development were examined. Photograph-assisted data on morphogenesis in Siberian sturgeon prolarvae agreed well with published descriptions of their ontogeny and ecological behaviors, although certain aspects of differentiation, such as gill covering and scute development, could be rearing condition-sensitive. The present study provides the first characterization of the transient development of teeth during early larval stages; the pattern was congruent with the transition of prolarvae to exogenous feeding. From examinations of embryonic and prelarval development under different temperature conditions (12–24°C),developmental speed was inversely related with temperature. Overall, hatchability was higher and hatching events were more synchronized at 20°C than at lower temperatures. After hatching, similar patterns of temperature-dependency were observed in yolk sac absorption and the evacuation of the pigment plug. Our results suggest that the incubation of Siberian sturgeon embryos and prolarvae at temperatures close to 20°C would be advantageous in hatcheries, based on reductions in the duration and uniformity of egg and prolarval developmental stages.

      • 개심술시 Nitroglycerin이 심혈관계에 미치는 영향

        개심술 후에 특히 허혈성 심장질환의 경우에 Nitroglycerin을 투여함으로써 혈압의 하강과 맥박 수의 증가 등의 심혈관계의 심한 변화없이 심근기능의 호전을 기대할 수 있다. Ten patients to undergo mitral valve replacement were compared with the hemodynamic effects of intravenous nitroglycerin(1 μg/kg/min). After a 20minutes infusion period mean arterial pressure, mean pulmonary arterial pressure, pulmonary capillary wedge pressure, central venous pressure, stroke index, and systemic vascular resistance index were significantly decreased by nitroglycerin. Intravenous nitroglycerin appeared to alter favorably the myocardial oxygen supply : demand ratio in patients with coronary heart disease.

      • 교육적 경험의 원리로서 계속성의 의미 : 종교적 경험양태의 작용방식을 중심으로 with respect to religious mode of experience

        The purpose of this essay is to put forward and elucidate the new meaning of continuity with regard to operation of religious mode of experience. Dewey defines education as a process of continuous reconstruction or reorganization of experience. Also he refers to interaction and contituity as the two criteria of educational experience. So, the meaning of continuity should be clarified in order to understand significantly Dewey's idea of educational experience. However, there is no clear allusion to the elaborate character and structure of the continuity, except a few simple words that there is continuity between antecedent and following experience. In any case, the continuity can be found and explained in an ongoing experience in ordinary life. The essay takes advantage of the concept of consummatory experience as a model of educative experience. Consummatory experience consists of three stages and is carried out by integrative working of modes of experience. Religious mode of experience is a mode of experience by which an whole ideal is consistutied in consummatory stage of an experience. It is obvious that very experience proceeds on background of whole results-a whole ideal of life-which all of previous experiences have attained. Thus, an ongoing experience can be continuous with previous experience by functioning religious mode of experience. Besides, the religious mode in the late stage of consummatory experience gives birth to a new ideal of whole life by integrating the results of an ongoing experience with all the results of foregoing experiences, or a preexistent whole ideal. The whole ideal is inseparably connected with future and coordinates the real with the ideal which he who performs the ongoing experience strives to achieve in future. In conclusion, the continuity can be effectively and systematically explained with religious mode working in consummatory experience. The significance of the continuity can be summed up as follows : 1) the continuity means an integrated past-present-future in an ongoing present experience: 2) it integrates the real with the ideal.

        광학적 치아우식활성 검사법의 신뢰도에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the specificity, sensitivity, and diagnostic power of caries activity test using LED fluorescence. The subjects of this study were 55 children of 6{sim}7 years old. LED light were irradiated to labial or buccal surface of all teeth. Fluorescence from initial carious lesion of teeth illuminated by an LED light was observed through barrier filter and the number of teeth showing lesion, size and position of lesion were counted. Streptococcus mutans colony counting and dDfFtT rate test were also done and their correlation was compared. And then specificity, sensitivity, diagnostic power of optical caries activity test using LED light were evaluated. 1. There was positive correlation({gamma}=0.43) between LED fluorescence test and Streptococcus mutans count(P<0.05). 2. When visual examination was defined to standard testing method, the specificity, sensitivity, diagnostic power of LED fluorescence test were 100%, 76.1%, and 100%. 3. When dDfFtT rate was defined to standard testing method, the specificity, sensitivity, diagnostic power of LED fluorescence test were 88.9%, 47.8%, and 95.7%. 4. When S. mutans colony counting was defined to standard testing method, the specificity, sensitivity, diagnostic power of LED fluorescence test were 100%, 58.7%, and 100%. Considering the above results, optical caries activity test using LED light could be regarded as a practical method because of its close relationship with microbiological caries activity test. 본 연구는 LED 형광법을 이용하여 각 개인의 우식활성도를 측정할 수 있는지를 규명하기 위해 6{sim}7세의 아동 55명을 대상으로 치아의 순면과 협면에 LED 광을 조사하고 특수 필터를 사용하여 초기 치아우식증이 관찰되는 치아의 수와 우식의 크기, 위치 등을 기록하고, 이와 같은 초기 치아우식증의 수를 측정하는 우식활성검사법과 기존의 우식활성도 측정방법인 dDfFtT rate, Streptococcus mutans colony count와 상관성을 비교, 평가하고, LED 형광법을 이용한 우식활성검사의 특이도, 민감도, 진단력을 평가하였다. 1. LED 형광법을 이용한 우식활성도 측정법은 기존의 Streptococcus mutans colony count 검사법과 비교적 높은 상관관계를 보였다({gamma}=0.43,;P<0.05). 2. 육안검사를 기준검사법으로 하였을 때, LED의 특이도, 민감도, 진단력은 각각 100%, 76.1%, 100%이었다. 3. dDfFtT를 기준검사법으로 하였을 때, LED의 특이도, 민감도, 진단력은 각각 88.9%, 47.8%, 95.7%이었다. 4. S. mutans 측정법을 기준검사법으로 하였을 때, LED의 특이도, 민감도, 진단력은 각각 100%, 58.7%, 100%이었다. 이상의 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 LED광중합기를 이용한 광학적 치아우식활성 검사법은 미생물학적 치아우식활성 검사법과 비교하여 유의한 상관관계를 보여 임상에서 활용 가능성이 클 것으로 사료된다.
