Photovoltaic power generation systems are expected to be widely used becase of their cleanness in the environment. But one of their disadvantages is the unexprected fluctuation of photovoltaic power generated by the weather conditions.<br/> This paper proposes to predict the output fluctuation of photovoltaic power by analyzing clouds through the image processing technique. First, the velocity of the cloud in the image is calculated by the comparison between two sequential images of the cloud, and then, the weather conditions are forecasted by examining the color values of the image along the direction of the cloud movement. Experimental results, the weather forecast 60, 90 and 120 seconds ahead and the estimation of the time required for the solar radiation to fluctuate on a large scale, show the possibility of the prediction of the output fluctuation of photovoltaic power generation system.<br/>
KCCH-50 MeV 싸이클로트론의 진공계통에 관한 연구

본 논문에서는 원자력병원에 설치된 50MeV-proton싸이클로트론의 진공계통에 관한 일반적인 특성과 측정된 진공결과를 기술하고 있다. 진공장치는 5개의 그룹으로 구성되어 있으며, 동작순서는 EPROM-PC장치에 의해 자동제어된다. 정상가동중의 도달 진공도는 각각 $5{\times}10^{-6}mbar(I,\;II),\;2{\times}10^{-6}mbar(III),\;1.2{\times}10^{-5}mbar(IV),\;1.5{\times}10^{-6}mbar(V)$였으며 이 진공도는 50MeV-proton빔을 가속하기에 충분함을 보여 주었다. In this paper, general features and measured results of vacuum pressure on the vacuum system of 50 MeV proton KCCH-cyclotron which was installed in Korea Cancer Center Hospital are described. The vacuum system comprises five subgroups and the operating sequences are automatically controlled by EPROM-programmable controller. In normal operation, the obtained ultimate pressures of vacuum groups were $5{\times}10^{-6}mbar(I,\;II),\;2{\times}10^{-6}mbar(III),\;1.2{\times}10^{-5}mbar(IV),\;1.5{\times}10^{-6}mbar(V)$, respectively. It was confirmed that these pressures was enough to accelerate the 50 MeV-proton beam.

The main components of the KSTAR helium refrigeration system (HRS) can be classified into the warm compression system (WCS) and the cryogenic devices according to the operating temperature levels. The WCS itself consists of the compressor station (C/S) and the oil removal system (ORS). The process helium is compressed from 1 bar to 22 bar maximum in the C/S and downstream, the ORS removes the oil mixed in the helium to less than 10 ppbw as per the operation criteria of the cryogenic devices of the KSTAR HRS. After the installation, the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities were started on July, 2007. Before the start-up of the C/S, vibration measurement and the skid reinforcement jobs were performed for stable operation of the C/S. The results of the WCS performance tests met the requirements of the KSTAR HRS but satisfied the vibration level criteria only at the compressors’ full load condition.

This study performed the comparison of continuous and recovery capacity following to endurance capapcity through the analysis of heart rate and blood lactate responses in graded maximal testing of long distance runners and nonathletes. In graded maximal testing, VO₂max, exercise duration to all-out, and lactate threshold showed a significant(P<0.05) differences between two groups. Absolute values of heart rate and blood lactate concentration of long distance runners group showed a significant(P<0.05) lower values than nonathletes group at 15 mins of recovery phase after graded maximal exercise, but recovery rate of heart rate and blood lactate showed no significant differences between two groups. These results could be suggested that the detailed physiological parameters must be considered for the analysis of recovery function of exercise-induced fatigue.

KSTAR cryostat is a 8.8 m diameter vacuum vessel that provides the necessary thermal barrier between the ambient temperature test cell and the supercritical helium cooled superconducting magnet providing the base pressure of 1 x 10-3 Pa. The cryostat is a single walled vessel consisting of central cylindrical section and two end closures, a flat base structure with external reinforcements and a dome-shaped lid structure. The base structure has 8 equally spaced support legs anchored on the concrete base. The cryostat vessel design was executed to satisfy the performance and operation requirements. The major loads considered in the structural analysis were vacuum pressure, dead weight, electromagnetic load driven by plasma disruption, and seismic load. Based on the fabrication and inspection procedures for the vessel, cryostat vessel was fabricated and inspected. It was confirmed that the inspection results were acceptable.

The toroidal field magnet power supply (TF MPS) for the KSTAR was constructed in August, 2007 and started the operation for the commissioning in March, 2008. The main role of the TF MPS is to supply the electric power to the TF magnet of the KSTAR. The water cooling components of the TF MPS are 16 stacks, busbar of 70 meters. For the cooling of the TF MPS, the D·I water cooling system was designed and installed. The water cooling system consists of several pumps, heat exchangers, D·I water polishing system and so on. The water cooling system for the TF MPS was tested under the 15 ㎄ current charging condition. In this paper be discussed about the system performance and other parameters.
