칼라 영상의 분할을 위한 Mean Field Annealing EM 알고리즘

In this paper we present a statistical model-based approach to the color image segmentation. A novel deterministic annealing EM and mean field theory are used to estimate the posterior probability of each pixel and the parameters of the Gaussian mixture model which represents the multi-colored objects statistically. Image segmentation is carried out by clustering each pixel into the most probable component Gaussian. The experimental results show that the mean field annealing EM provides a global optimal solution for the ML parameter estimation and the real images are segmented efficiently using the estimates computed by the maximum entropy principle and mean field theory.

Foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) is a severe vesicular disease of cloven-hoofed animals including domesticated ruminants and pigs. Acute clinical signs may be mild in sheep and goats but are associated with lameness in pigs and mouth lesions with vesicles in cattle. The required condition for a successful pathogen appears to be the ability to counteract both the host innate and adaptive immune response. FMD virus (FMDV) inhibits the induction of antiviral molecules and interferes with the secretory pathway in the infected cell. The surface expression of Major Histocompatibility Complex (MHC) class I molecules is reduced in infected cells. Thus, the ability of the host to recognize and eliminate virus infected cells is decreased. Furthermore, FMDV infection results in a rapid, but transient lymphopenia,reducing the number of T and B cells, and affecting T cell function. The virus appears to premature apoptosis-mediated cell death because it has a very short replication cycle and is able to rapidly produce large amounts of virus. FMDV engages the host protective response at multiple steps to ensure its effective replication and pathogenesis. This review describes the recent pathological and immunological studies to overcome the powerful abilities of FMDV to counteract defense mechanism of host.

This paper examined the criticism of management theories based on Chicago economics, such as agency theory and transaction cost theory, that began in the mid-1990s. It also investigated the characteristics and practical applicability of stewardship theory as a representative alternative to these theories. This study may contribute to the management of cooperatives that value intrinsic motivation or autonomous participation by elaborating on the psychological and organizational characteristics that facilitate managers and employees to commit to achieving the organizational goals as stewards. 이 논문은 1990년대 중반을 기점으로 본격화되었던 대리인이론과 거래비용이론 등 시카고학파 경제학에 기반을 둔 경영이론에 대한 비판을 살펴보고 이들 이론에 대한 대표적인 대안이었던 청지기이론의 특징과 현실적용 가능성을 검토하였다. 이 연구는 특히 경영자나 직원이 조직의 목표 달성을 중시하는 청지기로서의 정체성을 발휘할 심리적 특성 및 조직적 특성을 상세하게 확인함으로써 조합원들의 내재적 동기나 주체적 참여를 중시하는 협동조합 경영에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Abstract - Recently the occurrence of earthquakes has been increasing all over the world. Even in Korea the number of the occurrence has been rising. A bridge built before induction of an aseismatic design would damage human's lives and property if there were an earthquakes. Therefore, urgently, aseimatic retrofit should be executed to improve aseismatic capacity of existing piers. The purpose of this project is to suggest the most suitable design condition, which is through Finite Element Method and that is established by evaluation of strength and ductility of a restraining steel pipe whose height, thickness, and expansive pressure are very important variable factors when applying Expansive Concrete -Filled Cross-Restraining Steel Pipe Reinforce Method to real structure.
