박소미,송희영,허혜경,김기경 한국간호시뮬레이션학회 2020 한국간호시뮬레이션학회지 Vol.8 No.1
Purpose: Simulation-based education combined with mastery learning is more effective than simulation-based education alone. This study aimed to evaluate its effectiveness with regard to both technical and non-technical skills of simulation-based mastery learning (SBML) in blood transfusion training among undergraduate nursing students. Method: A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. Fifty-one second-year students at a college of nursing in W city, South Korea, who had not started clinical practice were selected by convenience sampling and allocated to either the experimental or control group using the zigzag method. SBML program was consisted of a diagnostic test, repeated learning and formative assessments for non-passers. All outcome variables were measured before and after completion of the program. Results: The experimental group showed significantly increased performance scores of blood transfusion as compared to the control group (z=29.50, p<.001), with better outcomes in number of students achieving minimum passing score (χ2 =20.07, p<.001), self-confidence (F=17.68, p<.001), and communication skills (z=166.00, p=.003). Conclusion: This program was effective for undergraduate students to better improvement in performance, self-confidence, and communication skills, which can ensure greater safety in the transfusion. The results suggest that SBML ensures skill acquisition for clinical practice through improved performances in both technical and non-technical skills.

Recently, adolescents in Korea are exposed to the risk of postural imbalance due to overuse of smartphones and lack of physical activity due to the amount of learning. In addition, the need for effective non-face-to-face exercise services is increasing due to Corona 19. With this in mind, this study proposes an exercise service using an EMG sensor to overcome the limitations of non-face-to-face services while providing the effect of improving round shoulders for adolescents. An exercise program that can improve round shoulders was constructed, and an application in conjunction with an EMG sensor was implemented to exercise effectively. The exercise program was configured to alternately exercise the target muscle area for 4 weeks, and the function to provide feedback was added by measuring the EMG values that change accordingly. Through this study, we intend to provide the basis for exercise-based posture correction digital service, and improve the unbalanced body through this, thereby promoting the possibility of health promotion.

Objective: This study was undertaken to assess the potential users' needs for a tele-health surveillance system and to develop a program that reflects the clients' needs. Methods: A descriptive study was conducted using interviews with a questionnaire during home visitations. Four hundred subjects from residences two affluent areas of Korea were selected by convenience sampling. Results: Through the tele-health surveillance system, they wanted to manage diseases such as heart disease(23.0%), cancers(20.5%) and endocrine diseases(17.5%). The highest score for areas of the tele-health surveillance system was cancer screening. The most highly preferred reporting system was immediate reporting of the screening results by a personal digital assistant with a tailored health management system that reflects their own bio-signals. Conclusion: Potential users want to manage their health in disease prevention and health promotion as well as treating diseases. These aspects should be considered in the development and utilization of a tele-health surveillance system.

Purpose: Fatigue and stress are known to affect the safety of workers, and female workers are particularly vulnerable to fatigue and stress. In the construction industry, it is known construction workers are more tired and stressed than other industries for various reasons. In addition, the number of female workers has recently increased at construction sites. Accordingly, we tried to find the causes and solutions of subjective fatigue and stress according to gender of construction workers. Method: The causes, symptoms, and solutions of fatigue and stress felt by male and female workers in the construction industry were investigated using the Delphi-AHP technique. Delphi 1st found various causes, symptoms, and solutions of subjective fatigue and stress felt by construction workers through the open questionnaire. By summarizing these results, the Delphi 2nd closed questionnaire was developed and repeatedly questioned. In addition, the AHP technique was used to understand the reliability and relative priorities of the survey results. Results: The causes of fatigue and stress according to gender were different, and female workers responded sensitively to fatigue. In addition, among the causes of fatigue and stress, female workers showed higher conflict with colleagues than male workers. The evaluation of the effects of fatigue and stress on safety was found to be the same regardless of gender, but female workers responded that fatigue had a greater impact on safety than male workers. Conclusion: Female workers in the construction industry were found to be more vulnerable to fatigue and stress than male workers, and in particular, conflicts with colleagues related to human relationships were higher than those of men, so management of this is considered necessary for safety.
