        팍스의 『비너스』에 나타난 강박관념과 욕동

        The purpose of this study is to examine the obsession and drive represented in Suzan-Lori Parks's work, Venus. This paper focuses on Venus' troubled life, and explores her obsession with 'mint,' the pursuit of wealth. The main character in the play is based on a real person, Saartijie Baartman. Baartman was exhibited at sideshows in London and Paris; she was considered entertaining because of her 'exotic and large buttocks.' Venus' purpose in life is to make money in Europe and, eventually, to return home. However, over the course of the play her original purpose is forgotten, and instead she becomes obsessed with money. Her obsession and drive are shown as a form of escapism. She becomes caught up in the fantasy of wealth, in order to hide herself from the suffering. To add to her suffering, Venus was continuously displayed without any clothes on. She drank a lot and suffered from the cold European climate. Eventually, Venus was found dead on the streets of Paris. Her skeleton, preserved genitals, and brain were placed on display in Paris' Musée de l'Homme until 1974. Through Venus this paper examines the protagonist, Venus' obsession with money, and the fantasy of wealth as a way of hiding herself from her traumatic past.

        팍스의 『승자/패자』에 나타난 트라우마와 섹슈얼리티

        The purpose of this study is to examine the trauma and sexuality in one of two brothers, Booth, in Suzan-Lori Parks’s Topdog/Underdog. The paper focuses on Booth’s traumatic experiences and illuminates his struggle with the Oedipus complex within his past relationship with his mother. It also describes Booth’s fetishism in relation to his inheritances - $ 500 in a nylon stocking given to him by his mother before she abruptly abandoned her family. Since witnessing a scene of his mother’s extramarital affair with her “Thursday man,” her boyfriend, Booth was unable to have normal sexual relations with women. Therefore, he was mostly living in a fantasy world. Thus two brothers in Topdog/Underdog depict lives of failure as underdogs. Because Booth killed his brother, he was a murderer and he did not overcome his trauma, but rather created a much deeper traumatic depression in himself. In conclusion, the finding of this paper examines the sexuality of unconscious through Booth’s trauma.

        활혈화어법(活血化瘀法)의 항종양(抗腫瘍) 및 혈행(血行) 전이(轉移)에 대(對)한 고찰(考察)

        This study was analyzed the effects of blood-activating and stasis-eliminating herbs on anti-tumor and hematogenic metastasis. The metastasis and recurrence of tumor was the basis of yudok(yudu) on remained tumor cell and stagnation of blood, thermotoxo, phlegm, asthenia of healthy enerngy, stagnation of vital energy. Malignant tumor is caused by carcinogen and go through the progress of initiation, promotion, progression, it is closely related with Eohyul$(y{\grave{u}}xi {\breve{e}})$. Symptoms of blood stasis disease are purplish tongue, mass, fixed stabbing pain, ecchymosis of nail, hypodermic petechia, dermal thesaurismosis, melena, ecchymoma, disturbance of circulation. Effects on the therapy of activating blood circulation and congestion are anti-tumor, anti-coagulation, anti-hemolysis, anti-solution, anti-inflammation, anti-infection, control of blood circulations, control of connective tissue metabolism and control of immunity. They can directly kill the cancer cells entering the blood circulation, inhibit the formation of tumor embody and reduce the blood hyperviscosity. It is suggested that these herbs can be used to prevent and treat blood metastasis of cancer under the guidance of syndrome differentiation.

        오베리우 시인과 여성 화가 베라 예르몰라예바의 그림책에 나타나는 다층적 서사(2) - 베덴스키의 『어부들』과 자볼로츠키의 『좋은 장화』를 중심으로 -

        The picturebooks of the 1920s and 1930s in Russia became a multi-layered polyphony of art forms-adult and child, female and male, drawing and writing-as the participation of avant-garde artists in publication. The Oberiu poets had no choice but to participate in children’s literature to make a living under the surveillance of Soviet government. Ermolaeva, a central figure in the avant-garde art of the 1920s and 1930s in Russia, had corroborated with the Oberiu poets for making the outstanding picturebooks artistically recognized today. She was a member of the Youth League including Malevich, Matyushin, Filonov, Tatlin and promoted Suprematism with Malevich. Vera Ermolaeva had drawed an illustration in Vvedensky’s The Fishermen and Zabolotsky’s The Good Boots. These outstanding picturebooks were written and illustrated by a author and a illustrator with the equal contribution. In other words, the reader has a narrative that can be completed with the combination of the words and the illustration. Ermolaeva reflects the artistic style of her time in The Fishermen and The Good Boots. The combination of the illustrated narrative by Ermolaeva and the written narrative of Vvedensky and Zabolotsky could create new narrative meaningful to the reader. Also, these books are the showcase of the avant-garde experiments and ideas ahead of their time by both poets and artists.

        에코페미니즘으로 본 똘스또이의 『안나 까레니나 (Анна Каренина)』

        페미니스트들은 에코페미니스트들의 모성과 여성성의 부활에 대해 비난을 하지만 에코페미니즘이 페미니즘이 가진 남녀성의 대결과 투쟁이라는 극단적 방법에서 벗어나 타자문제를 새로운 시각에서 해결하려 했다는 점에서 긍정적이다. 에코페미니즘은 여성과 남성의 대립적인 상황을 극복하고 분열보다는 통합, 불균형보다는 균형과 조화를 이야기한다. 또한 여성과 남성이라는 차원을 넘어 인간보편의 조화와 통일성을 꾀한다. 그러므로 민족, 인종, 계급, 자연과 인간, 인간과 비인간적 생물체 등과의 조화와 화합을 지향하는 것이다. 에코페미니즘은 기존의 페미니즘보다는 여성적 원리를 중심으로 더 포괄적인 문제와 대안을 제시하고 있다는 점에서 가치를 인정받고 있다. 에코페미니즘은 인간중심주의에서 생명중심주의로, 서양 사상에서 동양사상으로, 이원론에서 일원론으로의 패러다임의 이동과 채식주의,금욕주의, 정신주의를 주장하는 ‘녹색윤리’의 생태학 이론이다. 이는 똘스또이가 주장하고 그 스스로 실천해왔던 사상들과 다르지 않다. 똘스 또이는 『안나 까레니나』를 쓸 시기부터 불교와 노자와 장자, 공자의 사상에 몰입했다. 똘스또이가 처음 동양사상과 접한 사실이 1844년에 쓴 자신의 논문 『나의 종교는 무엇인가?(В чём моя вера)』에 나타난다. 이후 그는 동양철학에서 자신의 고민에 대한 해답을 구하려고 했으며, 동양철학에 대한 영향은 그의 작품 곳곳에 드러난다. 똘스또이가 자신의 실존적인 근원에 대한 물음에 해답을 찾을 수 있다면 그 어떤 종교의 가르침에도 귀를 기울였다는 점에서 에코페미니즘과의 유사점을 찾을 수 있게 한다. 에코페미니스트들처럼 똘스또이는 그 당시 부정적이었던 동양의 이미지와 상관없이 열린 사고로 동양사상 등 다른 사상들을 폭넓게 받아들였다. 모든 사상에 대한 똘스또이의 유연한 태도는 여성과 자신과 신분이 다른 타자에게도 적용되었다. 에코페미니즘의 입장에서 보면, 똘스또이는 누구보다도 여성에 대해, 인간에 대해, 자연과 인간 간의 관계에 대해 진지하게 생각했던 작가이다. 그는 인간의 행복에 여성의 역할이 얼마나 중요한지를 진지하게 생각했던 작가이며, 자신의 이익이 아닌 공공의 삶이 얼마나 중요한지를 진지하게 고민했던 작가이다. 에코페미니스트들과 똘스또이의 공통점이라고 한다면, 그들은 모든 억압받는 것에 대한 배려와 대조되는 것, 주변과 중심의 조화, 소통을 통해서 ‘최선’을 구하려고 한다는 점이다. Ecofeminism is a branch of ecology insisting the transition of paradigm from the anthropocentrism to the biocentrism, from the western way of thinking to the eastern way of thinking, and from the dualism to the monism. Also it advocates the vegetarianism, the asceticism, and the spiritualism. This is very similar to the thought of Tolstoy. Tolstoy advocated the brotherhood as ecofeminists did the sisterhood. When he was writing Anna Karenina, he devoted himself to study Buddhism, Laotzu and Changtzu's philosophy, and Confucius's philosophy. The influence of the oriental philosophy and religion on Tolstoy is found from his novels including Anna Karenina and the thesis like What is my religion.Tolstoy tried to solve the puzzle of life with the open mind as the ecofeminists do. From the ecofeminits's point of view he is an ideal writer for the happiness of women and human, and the best relationships between human and nature. He considered the women's role for the happiness of human as very important. What Tolstoy and ecofeminists have in common is to do their best for the communion between the main and the marginal with the kind consideration for the suppressed.

        환대서비스접점에서 문화간 의사소통 수용이 고객반응, 신뢰 및 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 환대서비스접점에서 이문화 고객과 서비스제공자 간의 의사소통 수용, 고객의 감정적 반응, 신뢰 및 재방문 의도 간의 인과관계를 살펴보는 것이었다. 실증연구를 위해 선행연구를 바탕으로 변수들 간의 관계에 대한 가설을 도출하였다. 표본 대상은 한국에서 호텔 이용 경험이 있는 이문화 고객이었다. 연구방법으로는 SPSS 23과 AMOS 24를 이용해 경로분석으로 가설을 검정하였다. 본 연구결과, 의사소통 수용은 감정적 반응에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 의사소통 수용은 신뢰에 정의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 감정적 반응은 신뢰에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며 감정적 반응과 신뢰 역시 재방문 의도에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 본 연구의 가설은 모두 지지되었다. 특히 본 연구에서 설정한 가설 중 신뢰가 재방문 의도에 가장 크게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고 다음으로는 의사소통 수용이 신뢰에 영향을 크게 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구결과는 근래에 K뷰티, K컬처 그리고 다문화의 상황에서 이문화 고객 대상의 환대서비스업체 운영에 유용한 통찰력을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 효율적인 마케팅 전략 계획을 수립하는데 유용한 자료가 된다. Under the influence of “K-Culture” and “K-Beauty”, hospitality service providers are serving more international customers from different cultural backgrounds. The purpose of this study is to examine how intercultural communication accommodations influence customer hospitality service encounters and examine the effectiveness of new strategies to motivate re-visitation by customers. This study, firstly, it reviews the nature of communication behaviors through the literature, and secondly, customer responses to different communication accommodation strategies in terms of affective responses, trust, and revisit intention, examining a number of previous studies. Thirdly, it presents the results of new research into this area, where the literature searches were used to form a hypothesized model; aiding the development of a methodology based upon a quantitative analysis, with a questionnaire made up of 21 items being given to a survey sample of 287 non-native Korean Hotel users in Seoul and Daegu·Gyeongbuk, recording their feelings towards a number of possible communication accommodation strategies. The results were then put through a Path analysis using AMOS 24, and showed that communication accommodation did indeed have an influence upon revisit intention, and more importantly, an overwhelming majority of customers displayed a positive affective response to the strategies presented, stating they would feel more trust towards Hotel employees and be more likely to return. In conclusion, this study finds evidence presents a range of effective new customer accommodations strategies supported by positive feedback from the fieldwork. A weakness is the lack of testing inside a hotel environment however, leaving room for further investigation.

      • 제3부 한국인의 효문화 : 이순신의 문학적 표현에 나타난 효와 경과 서정

        The appearance of interest and sites for education regarding filial duty varies. This filial duty has become not only the foundation of the education, but the virtue that is capable of building one`s personality both in the east or the west. Based on the record of Yi Sun-shin, a Korean naval commander in the Joseon Dynasty, thriving and the historical consciousness of the era, the society, and the culture can be expressed by the constant process of introspecting filial piety, loyalty, and respect. The commander achieved countless noteworthy tasks that go down in history based on his wise judgment and the ability of fostering situations that were formed by filial piety, loyalty, and love of the people. Furthermore, we can find out Yi Sun-shin`s proficiency in both literary and martial arts and his leadership in poetical literature and Nanjung Ilgi War Diary of Admiral Yi Sun-sin. His noble spirit and leading by example became the inevitable result of being praised by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) and being designated as a UNESCO World Heritage property. Yi Sun-shin is venerated even more in China and Japan than in Korea, and scholars in those countries study him continuously. Also, we cannot overlook the fact that the commander Yi is worshipped as a god of war in Japan. In these regards, it is necessary for us to research further on Nanjung Ilgi, War Diary, which has connotations of the commander`s introspection of leadership. By studying its literary value and understanding his fruitage of his character building, we will be able to reveal the reason that was being able to end up with contributing in the universal culture. Moreover, we should build a foundation that acts as an aid for presenting social, cultural, and spiritual contents so that we can inherit his spirit to the next generation.
