The purpose of this study is to examine the obsession and drive represented in Suzan-Lori Parks's work, Venus. This paper focuses on Venus' troubled life, and explores her obsession with 'mint,' the pursuit of wealth. The main character in the play is based on a real person, Saartijie Baartman. Baartman was exhibited at sideshows in London and Paris; she was considered entertaining because of her 'exotic and large buttocks.' Venus' purpose in life is to make money in Europe and, eventually, to return home. However, over the course of the play her original purpose is forgotten, and instead she becomes obsessed with money. Her obsession and drive are shown as a form of escapism. She becomes caught up in the fantasy of wealth, in order to hide herself from the suffering. To add to her suffering, Venus was continuously displayed without any clothes on. She drank a lot and suffered from the cold European climate. Eventually, Venus was found dead on the streets of Paris. Her skeleton, preserved genitals, and brain were placed on display in Paris' Musée de l'Homme until 1974. Through Venus this paper examines the protagonist, Venus' obsession with money, and the fantasy of wealth as a way of hiding herself from her traumatic past.

팍스의 『승자/패자』에 나타난 트라우마와 섹슈얼리티

The purpose of this study is to examine the trauma and sexuality in one of two brothers, Booth, in Suzan-Lori Parks’s Topdog/Underdog. The paper focuses on Booth’s traumatic experiences and illuminates his struggle with the Oedipus complex within his past relationship with his mother. It also describes Booth’s fetishism in relation to his inheritances - $ 500 in a nylon stocking given to him by his mother before she abruptly abandoned her family. Since witnessing a scene of his mother’s extramarital affair with her “Thursday man,” her boyfriend, Booth was unable to have normal sexual relations with women. Therefore, he was mostly living in a fantasy world. Thus two brothers in Topdog/Underdog depict lives of failure as underdogs. Because Booth killed his brother, he was a murderer and he did not overcome his trauma, but rather created a much deeper traumatic depression in himself. In conclusion, the finding of this paper examines the sexuality of unconscious through Booth’s trauma.

활혈화어법(活血化瘀法)의 항종양(抗腫瘍) 및 혈행(血行) 전이(轉移)에 대(對)한 고찰(考察)

This study was analyzed the effects of blood-activating and stasis-eliminating herbs on anti-tumor and hematogenic metastasis. The metastasis and recurrence of tumor was the basis of yudok(yudu) on remained tumor cell and stagnation of blood, thermotoxo, phlegm, asthenia of healthy enerngy, stagnation of vital energy. Malignant tumor is caused by carcinogen and go through the progress of initiation, promotion, progression, it is closely related with Eohyul$(y{\grave{u}}xi {\breve{e}})$. Symptoms of blood stasis disease are purplish tongue, mass, fixed stabbing pain, ecchymosis of nail, hypodermic petechia, dermal thesaurismosis, melena, ecchymoma, disturbance of circulation. Effects on the therapy of activating blood circulation and congestion are anti-tumor, anti-coagulation, anti-hemolysis, anti-solution, anti-inflammation, anti-infection, control of blood circulations, control of connective tissue metabolism and control of immunity. They can directly kill the cancer cells entering the blood circulation, inhibit the formation of tumor embody and reduce the blood hyperviscosity. It is suggested that these herbs can be used to prevent and treat blood metastasis of cancer under the guidance of syndrome differentiation.

러시아 아동문학 속의 성인과 아동의 이중적 텍스트구조

하름스는 1927년 마르샥의 권유로 아동문학에 참여하게 된다. 그는 『요쥐(Ежемесячный журнал)와 『치쥐(Чрезвычайно интересный журнал)』라는 잡지에서 일하게 되는데 이 두 잡지의 성격은 그 당시 다른 잡지들과 달리 자유롭고 교육보다는 아동이 즐길 수 있는 작품을 선호했다. 이런 잡지의 성격 때문에 이 두 잡지에는 그 당시 진취적이고 진보적이며 창의적인 젊은 예술가들이 참여했다. 그 중에 하름스도 포함되어 있었다. 그 이후 하름스는 성인작품의 가치를 제대로 평가 받기 전까지 아동작가로서 알려지게 된다. 그의 아동작품은 미래의 소비에트 국민인 아이들에게 환영을 받았다. 아이들은 오베리우 시인들이 비난받았던 특징들, 감정의 순수함, 리듬의 참신함, 기이한 조어적 경향, 전형적이지 않은 사고, 자움어, 형식에 대한 과도한 관심, 상상의 자유로움, 시공간의 해체 등을 있는 그대로 받아들이고 즐겼으며 이런 특징들은 당시 아동문학을 풍성하게 하는 역할을 했다. 비록 생계를 위해 선택하게 된 길이었지만 하름스의 아동작품은 여러 편에 이르며 그 시기 또한 하름스의 창작 활동시기와 맞물린다. 하름스의 아동작품은 그의 성인작품과의 연관성을 보이며 그 자체 내부에 성인과 아동이라는 두 의미층위를 포함한다. 성인인 하름스와 그의 현실, 그리고 독자인 아동은 그 안에서 조응하면서 텍스트를 만들어낸다. 하름스는 자기반영성을 통해 작품의 허구성을 드러내고 독자들을 작품창작에 적극적으로 끌어들이며 유희적인 작품을 창조한다. 또한 아동성이란 가면 아래에 그 당시의 현실과 자신의 처지를 표현해내기도 한다. 자기반영성은 포스트모더니즘에 와서 등장한 개념이지만 아방가르드 계열의 작가인 하름스에게서 나타나는 전통과 보편성, 일반성, 계획성, 정형성에 반역을 꾀하는 그의 철학과 맞닿아 있다. 최근에 하름스가 재평가 되면서 그의 작품들이 관심의 중심에 놓이게 되었으나 아동작품은 소외되고 있다. 비록 연구서에 언급이 되고 있지만 아동작품이라는 이유 때문에 간과되고 있는 것이다. 그러나 아동작품 역시 하름스의 작품이며 생계유지를 위해 쓸 수밖에 없던 글쓰기였지만 성인작품과는 다른 그의 형상과 문학적 기법들을 볼 수 있다는 점에서 가치가 충분하다. The life of Daniil Kharms was short and miserable. His literature had been prohibited during the Soviet era. After Perestroika, his work for adults has been published and admired by the readers and scholars. During the Soviet period he was known as the children's writer. Now nobody considers him as a writer of children's literature. His work of adult literature has become popular and studied by many scholars since Perestroika. However, the research on the children's literature of his is not active.. The children's literature of Kharms has been loved by the children because there is the imagination, freedom, simple rhythm, deconstruction of the boundary between time and space, the dissolution of the boundary between the reality and the imagination. There is no space for the message for the educational purpose which is a usual and necessary element in the children's literature. It is easy to notice the correlation between children's literature and adult text of Kharms. But the children's literature of his has several attributes distinct from his adult work because the readers of the children's literature are different from that of the adult literature. His adult work was the field for the ontological and epistemological experiments. Even though he wrote the children's texts for living, he exposed the harsh reality of life in Soviet through the children's literature.

신화 다시 쓰기: 부정과 메타모르포시스를 통한 자기동일성의 서사전략

Russian female writers had not draw attention until Perestroika. In post-Perestroika era, the collapse of the Soviet Union and subsequent social changes provide the foundation for them to bring spotlight to their existence. Female writers claim their existence into the world, from 1989 to 1995, with continuous publication of nine collections. The introductions of『A woman with no evil memory』and『New Amazones』 contain declaration which provide the definition of women' prose and proclaim the originality of female writers. Those introductions also clearly show the driving force of these cooperative works of female writers. They take action not because they would like to build arena for fighting between male and female as the logic of western feminism tells. They take action because they would like to get over with the long history of forbidden publications of female writers and to make their own voices heard. As a result, their works now receives great recognition from critics and readers. The emergence of Russian female writers have little thing to do with the debates of western feminism. It rather relates to their passion to examine self-identification, as a means to overcome the confusion of self-identification which followed the collapse of main ideology in the post Perestroika era. In fact, the late timing of their search for self-identification through publishing collections actually verifies the strongly deep-rooted patriarchal system of Russia. This paper would like to examine the "Narrative Strategy" that female writers employ in order to explore self-identification understrong patriarchal Russian society. First of all, among all those nine collections I will focus on『A woman with no evil memory』and 『New Amazones』, which are among the most important collections in earlier times. The title of the latter deserves our attention in that Russian female writers refer themselves as new Amazones. Also, their works consist of sub-themes and reveal their own definitions of female that are to lead the new era. These works are the results of modem reinterpretation and rewriting myth through negation and metamorphosis, which has been distorted by males. Russian female writers examine the physical time and space which has suppressed them so long, by textualizing the world of myth and fairy tale, or, the illusionary space and pre-historic times. Furthermore, they put one more step to create their own myth, while denying all existing ideologies. In other words, they attempt to recreate and redefine themselves through simulation, denying the image of Holy Mother, perfect woman, and even that of maternity which has been created by male writers and imposed on them. They attempt to bring symbolic and peripheral women into the main stage with redefining them through their own experiences and voices. Through those practices of redefining themselves, they establish themselves as Russians who share the pain of their times and the loss of self-identification with males, rather than as a "woman" or a "mother" whose definition is imposed and decided through the eyes of a male.

한국(韓國)의 문화(文化) : 21세기 문학을 통한 한류문화의 비전과 문화외교

본 연구는 생명옹호, 상호문화에 대한 존중과 예찬 등에 관심을 두고 표현한 작품을 분석, 정리한 것이다. 21세기, 글로벌 시대의 작가 신경숙의 “엄마를 부탁해”는 전 세계인의 심금을 울려주고 행동까지 변화를 주고 있는 작품이다. 이는 한국적 덕목이 개인의 재능을 통하여 세계화의 지평을 열어주고 있는 것이다. 디아스포라 문학에서 역지사지할 수 있는 양심 여행이 절실한 시대를 조망하고, 동승과 밴드와 막춤에서 지구에 동승하고 있는 인류애를 통하여 전승되어 온 덕목을 확인, 정리하고 실천할 수 있는 경지를 요하는 시대의 비전을 정리하였다. 이와 같은 작품은 퇴계 이황의 “경”에 대한 이론, “양심 여행”, 그리고 “생태학” 등의 전승되어온 덕망을 표현하고 있는 작품을 선정한 것이다. 한국 문화의 원형은 경의 철학, 양심의 여행, 생태학적 자각에 의한 것임을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 과정에서 21세기 글로벌 시대의 관건은 장소감과 생태학적 자각과 덕망을 실천하는 비전, 그리고 절실한 모국애에 의하여 순조롭게 해결해 나아갈 수 있음을 확인하게 되었다. This study analyzed and summarized visions of playing a leading role of global literature , meter culturalite, guilt trip and spirit of mutual respect in the trend of a multi-cultural age. First, we can achieve the growth of ethos based on the stability of a society and the emotional luster by claiming analysis and summaries of literatures, which suggest a social virtue, which promotes the ability of individuals, who are capable of playing diplomatic roles in a multi-cultural society. As the work, "Please Look After Mom" of the world-famous author , Kyung-sook Shin`s . Second, this study summarizes how to set up and practice the virtue, which is required in the multi-cultural era in “ Share a Globe”, and “ The Band and liberal Dancing”. This suggests that Korean dramas and arts, which portray Korean`s chastity, have a potential that will contribute to advance the quality life of people around the world. By pointing out the ecological organism`s a base of life and the origin of energy, we put value on extending the horizon of expectations of history and thoughts. This shows us the capability of seeing those history and thoughts from a different angle. Third, this study stresses the necessity of performing a role as a leader in glocalism by constructing an economic cluster and a cultural placeness formation, The excellence of thoughts and emotional expressions which speaks of hopes, sorrows, waits, longings, love, conflicts, hopes, and frustrations of Koreans life. Finally, this study stresses the importance of reconstructing the original formation of traditional thoughts, fertile land and the culture in 21`C.

번역문학이 러시아 아동문학에 끼친 영향 -알렉세이 톨스토이의 『황금 열쇠, 또는 부라티노의 모험』을 중심으로

The translated literature has affected the Russian literature in various ways and has become a driving force for its development especially, in the Soviet period, its foreign literary adaptation and modification occurred frequently. At first, the direction of children`s literature was not settled. To solve this problem, public discussions took place that almost resembled a war zone. In this process, two marked movements arose. One is the movement that defends the Soviet ideology and excludes the remnants of the past, and the other the movement to provide the children with freer imagination and enjoyment. The latter was in fact made possible by the enforcement of NEF which attempted the economic recovery after the Soviet revolution. Alexei Tolstoy`s “The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Burattino” is one of his works that were in the transitional process where the Soviet arranged the guidelines for the children`s literature, Tolstoy announced this piece in 1936 that was written with the original, “The Adventures of Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi. The conception of this work was done in Berlin when Tolstoy was translating Collodi`s works with the famous female writer of symbolism, Nina Petrovskaya. The translated version was released in Berlin in 1924 and was quite a bit shortened and russianized compared to its original. It reflected Tolstoy`s intention and bacame the foundation of this work, “The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Burattino.” Although he based his works on Collodi`s, he created his creative version of weitings that is clearly distinguished from Collodi`s, This book has the inter-textual relations with various Russian literatrure such as works by A.Blok and the Russian ckazka. These are all woven into Tolstoy`s book “The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Buratino” and have corresponded to the needs of the Russian readers and dominated their childhood. As for the characters and content till the turtle, Tortila, gave a golden key to Buratino, it follows Collodi`s identity search and the social initiation for a child to become a member of a society in his work, Tolstoy`s story shows children`s ways to callaborate with others to find their ideal world and make that dream come true. Thus, the main theme of this book is not the growth of one character, Buratino, but this cooperation of friends to overcome difficulties and make the ideal works possible. The Soviet had constantly make and effort to implant the idea of collective proletarian utopia into children`s literature, and this book by Tolstoy accomplished that.

한국 현대 서정시의 시간의 전환과 공간의 확장

본 연구에서는 현대인의 소통에 있어서 중차대한 지평의 열림과 확장에 대한 가능성을 주도해 온 시인의 문학적 업적과 자리매김을 분석,정리하여 그 가치를 재평가 할 수 있는 기회를 마련할 것이다. “ 흥어시, 입어례, 성어음 “이라 하신 공자의 언급에서도 현대인의 삶에 소통하는 사회, 인간다운 삶을 창조하게 하는 시적 가능성을 간과할 수 없을 것이다.민족시인, 김소월의 작품의 시간의 전환과 공간의 확장은 현재 우리 삶 속에 어우러져 있음을 볼 수 있다. 시어의 함축성과 시행의 배려,그리고 예술적인 시연의 배치로 인한 리듬의 생성과 발현 등의 미적 표현에 대한 변화와 전환은 시의 전통과 가치에 대한 재평가를 요구하게 된 것이다. 김우창 교수는 소월을 한국시에서의 자연시 전통을 변혁시키는 첫 출발을 알리는 시인이라 하였다. 소월의 시적 전통의 혁신은 오늘날 우리가 생활하는 중에도 소월의 시를 읊조리고, 노래하듯이 대화 속에 인용하고, 삶을 성찰하며, 동감하고 즐기고 있는 현장에서 확인할 수 있다. 소월의 산유화에 나타나는 확장된 시공의식과 정서적 순환은 우리의 삶을 예술적 경지에서 치유하는 기능을 함축하고 있음을 볼 수 있다.시적 언어의 탁마와 삶의 풍요를 예견하게 하는 김영랑 시인의 순수시는 한국 현대시의 절창을 보게 하는 기치로서 그 역할을 다하고 있음을 볼 수 있다 영랑의 시적 전환은 극적 전개를 통하여 나타나는 생명의 전환이며, 우주적 전개의 지평을 보여주고 있는 것으로 그 음악성과 함께 극서정시의 절창으로 볼 수 있다. 김영랑과 박용철이 주도한 시문학지는 단 세 권, 3호까지 발행된 것이다. 그러나 그 짧은 기간에도 불구하고 문학사적 전환은 중차대한 것이었다. 한국의 시문학사의 사적(史的) 전거(典據)를 가릴 때, 1930년대 시문학 이전과 이후로 나누어 생각하게 됨은 시문학파의 문학사적 위치를 충분히 입증하고 있는 것이다.오세영 교수의 ‘시문학파 기념문학관’을 설립한 기념식에서 시문학파(詩文學派)의 중요성을 거듭 강조하고 있음에서도 영랑의 시적 사명을 확인할 수 있다.황동규 시인의 극서정시는 시간적 전환과 공간의 확장에 주목해야 한다. 특히 시에서 극의 구조를 형성하여 시적 작업을 “삶을 극으로 바꾸는 장치”로 전환시켜 가고자 하는 시인의 의지에 관심을 두어야 한다.극서정시는 극화 즉 인간화시켜서 삶에 되돌려주는 장치로서, 극을 지닌 노래와 이야기와 몸짓으로 전환시켜 가는 것은 공간의 확장과 시간의 전환을 가시화 하는 장치인 것이다.서정시의 시공(時空)에 대한 한국 현대시의 기대 지평과 시적 전거는 시간적 전환과 공간적 확장을 창출함에 그 문학사적 가치를 재천명해야 할 것이다. Literature is a treasure of energy to open the novel vision and the practice of our life.Specially, it is very important toward the role of the poetic expression which is formed a bond of sympathy into the horizon of a new life through the poetic turning points. In particular, the poetic expression plays an important role in lyrical genre is described the boundary of the dramatic turning points. Dramatic lyric poetry shows a genre that can find and observe the vision of space that the human community life to be conscious of the universe, continue toward change in eternity and progress on the way to the ultimate creation. Universal tendency in the expression of time and space of the lyric genre can be able to confirm impact on each other dynamically in terms of the stream of time and change, that is, time and space reflect mutual penetration, futhermore, mutual influence dynamically and then it becomes to lead the universal life. The consciousness of time and space is to be express that it must be equal and engage each other and turn dynamically. In a point of view of modern physics and oriental thoughts we can identify their vision having the equality. The turning points of time and space is that excellent expression to reach the top level of the insight meditation is due to the mature works of a poet. The expressions of poems of Sowol, Youngrang and Hwang Donggyu should reinforced their worth of literature history according to the establishment of poetic literature history for a new horizon by the turning point of time and extension of space. For my article, I might offer this key words “ Creation of a mature character type” to solve the current social issues in adapting to the change and transcendence positively.

한국사상(韓國思想) 문학(文學) : 다문화시대의 문학과 문화경제

본 연구에서는 다문화시대의 새로운 동향에 있어 문학이 문화다양성협약과 상호문화성, 그리고 문화경제의 선구적 역할을 수행할 수 있는 비전을분석하고 정리하였다. 첫째, 다문화사회 구성원 개개인이 문화의 다양성을 수용하고, 민간 외교적 역할과 그 기능을 발휘할 수 있는 사회적 덕목의 신장과 생성의 장을 문학작품의 분석과 정리를 원용하여 제시하였다. 이것은 사회의 안정과 경제적 윤택함은 물론이고, 생태학적 자각을 수용하고 발현 할 수 있는 첩경이 되기 때문이다. 둘째, 김동환의 시, “국경의 밤”에서 다문화시대가 요구하는 상호문화성에 대한 자각과 덕목의 전환, 그리고 성숙한‘인성’의 함양에 대한 지평을 정리하였다. 일제하의 긴박한 상황의 국경 근방에서 디아스포라의 애환과 역사적 상흔, 그리고 민중의 사랑과 갈등, 그리고 덕목의 조화가 표현되어 애송되고 있는 작품이기 때문이다. 이 작품은 현재 역지사지의 견지에서 다문화사회의 인물형을 창조함에 긴요한 역할을 할 것이다. 셋째, 경제적 단지와 문화적 장소성이 조화된 지구지역성(글로컬 리즘)의 선구적 역할을 수행할 당위성을 확인하였다. 삶은 이야기를 풍요롭게, 이야기는 삶을 풍요롭게 하는 것을 확인하고 한류 문화의 전승과 표현 의 가치를 문화경제학적 관점을 활용해야 하는 연유를 정리하였다. 한류문화가 드라마나 영화, 각종 문학을 통한 이야기 전개에서 세계인들의 삶에 즐거움과 풍요를 가져다주고 있기 때문이다. 끝으로, 전통 사상과 문화의 원형이 잠재된 장소감(senses of place)과 문화다양성을 실천하는 터전의 설정이 시급함을 강조하였다. 다양한 장르의 작품을 통해 전 지구인들이 방문하고 싶은 곳, 작품에 대한 기억 속의 장소에 방문하여 삶에 대한 기대의 지평을 확장해 나아갈 수 있는 장소에 대한 기대 때문이다. 전 세계인들이 방문하기를 염원하는 장소, 방문 시에는 누구나 환영받고 대화를 지속해 나아갈수 있는 장소에서 한국적 정서를 공유할 수 있는 “인물형”과의 만남을 가능하게 할 때 한류문화의 비전을 구현할 수 있음을 확인한 것이다.
