구조 형상에 따른 벤틸레이티드 디스크 브레이크 열 유동 해석 연구

The brake systems are composed of brake disc, brake pad and caliper and, these three parts play an important role for braking. In this study, heat fluid analysis is conducted for five different ventilated disc models, and two piece brake disc model separated in rotor and housing is used. In this case, each model has a different number of holes and vent shape. The basic heat flux and braking power equations are applied for the heat fluid analysis. The cooling performance with/without the braking operation is also analyzed for given five models where the material properties and boundary conditions are set to be identical. From our analysis results, it is found that the number of disc holes and ventilated pins strongly influences on the cooling performance.
우리말과 에스페란토의 대조 연구(Ⅰ) : 우리말의 토씨를 중심으로

에스페란토는 인공어이긴 하나, 인도-구라파 말의 여러 말들에서 개량된 것으로, 그 바탕은 라틴말이라 할 수 있다. 통어구조에 있어, 우리말은 〈임-부-풀〉, 에스페란토는 〈임-풀-부〉의 차례를 기본으로 하고 있으며, 우리말에는 토씨가 있는 반면 에스페란토에는 전치사가 있는 점이, 두 말의 큰 차이점이다. 우리말에서는 자리를 '임자ㆍ부림ㆍ견줌 위치ㆍ방편ㆍ부름'의 여섯 가지로 보고 있으나, 에스페란토에서는 임자자리와 부림자리의 두 가지로만 보고 있다. 에스페란토의 부림자리 표지 형태소 {-n}은 우리말의 부림자리 토씨와 여러 면에서 비슷한 점이 많아 우리의 관심을 끈다. 이 {-n}은 부림자리를 나타내 주는 기능밖에도 '이동의 방향'이나 '시간(동안)' 또는 '거리'를 나타내 주는 기능을 함께 가지고 있어, 우리말의 부림자리 토씨와 아주 흡사하다. 우리말에서는 자리토씨, 도움토씨, 이음토씨, 특수토씨 등 여러 토씨가 문법적ㆍ의미적으로 아주 중요한 역할을 담당하고 있으며, 에스페란토에서는 주로 전치사와 이음씨, 어찌씨 등이 우리말의 토씨와 같은 역할을 담당하고 있다.

The Dielectric Barrier micro-hollow cathode structure and it's upper pD limitation are investigated for determining of optimum hollow cathode discharge condition. In experiment, discharge is sustained by AC diriving and investigated gas is pure Xe. From Experiment, Optimum pD range is lower than 0.72 torr.cm at pure Xe and Cu cathode.
The Role of Elaboration Moderating the Effects of Temporal Construal on Evaluation

The Construal Level Theory posits that future events are differentially construed, and thus evaluated, as a function of whether they are to be experienced in the near or distant future. We explore the question of when temporal distance influences evaluation, testing three alternative hypotheses. The results demonstrate that temporal distance only influences evaluation under thoughtful conditions. Although temporal construal effects emerge either for individuals high in need for cognition (study 1) or when individuals carefully think (study 2), they do not emerge for individuals low in need for cognition, nor when individuals do not engage in effortful thinking.

마이크로 사이즈 공음극 플라즈마 전극에 대한 제작 및 방전 실험을 진행하였다. 방전 전극은 200~500 um의 hole 형상을 제작하였으며 70~850 torr He 분위기에서 방전 실험 하였다. 실험 샘플은 막힌 공음극 형상과, 관통된 공음극 두가지 형상을 실험하였다. 마이크로 공음극 플라즈마의 공음극 크기에 따른 결과에서 사이즈가 작을수록 총 전류 값은 낮아지나, 전류 밀도는 증가하였다. 막힌 공음극에서는 양저항 특성을, 관통된 공음극에서는 부저항 결과를 얻었다.

In this research, we examine whether and why temporal distance influences evaluations of two different types of brand extensions: concept-based extensions, defined as extensions primarily based on the importance or relevance of brand concepts to extension products; and similarity-based extensions, defined as extensions primarily based on the amount of feature similarity at the product-category level. In Study 1, we test the hypothesis that concept-based extensions are evaluated more favorably when they are framed to launch in the distant rather than in the near future, whereas similaritybased extensions are evaluated more favorably when they are framed to launch in the near rather than in the distant future. In Study 2, we confirm that this time-dependent differential evaluation is driven by the difference in construal level between the bases of the two types of extensions – i.e., brand-concept consistency and product-category feature similarity. As such, we find that conceptbased extensions are evaluated more favorably under the abstract than concrete mindset, whereas similarity-based extensions are evaluated more favorably under the concrete than abstract mindset. In Study 3, we extend to the case for a broad brand (i.e., brands that market products across multiple categories), finding that making accessible a specific product category of a broad parent brand influences evaluations of near-future, but not distant-future, brand extensions. Combined together, our findings suggest that temporal distance influences brand extension evaluation through its effect on the importance placed on brand concepts and feature similarity. That is, consumers rely on different bases to evaluate brand extensions, depending on their perception of when the extensions take place and on under what mindset they are placed. This research makes theoretical contributions to the brand extension research by identifying one important determinant to brand extension evaluation and also uncovering its underlying dynamics. It also contributes to expanding the scope of the construal level theory by putting forth a novel interpretation of two bases of perceived fit in terms of construal level. Marketers who are about to launch and advertise brand extensions may benefit by considering temporal-distance information in determining what content to deliver about extensions in their communication efforts. Conceptual relation of a parent brand to extensions needs to be emphasized in the distant future, whereas feature similarity should be highlighted in the near future.
