Because the torsional rigidity of the steel box girder is larger than that of any section of the steel girder, the steel box girders are used widely on the curved guideway in city bridge. In this papers, the computer program, that is able to analyze the stress of the steel box girder automatically, is developed. More easier stress check method for the steel box girder section is proposed by this study.

Three model on three subgrade below the foundation is analyized about frequencies, periods and mode shapes to determine vibrating characteristics on mat-type foundation for machine. In the case of mode 1, the more the modulus of subgrade reaction is large, the larger frequencies increase and periods become constant. In the case of model 2, frequencies increase, period decrease. And in the case of model 3, the modulus of subgrade reaction is large, frequencies are the smallest in the medium dence sand, the largest in clay soil, periods are the largest in clay soil, the smallest in the medium dense sand.

본 연구는 법주사의 영역형성 과정에 작용하는 다양한 요인 중 당시 불교의 신앙체계로서 미륵신앙이 사찰 영역형성에 어떻게 반영되고 표현되는가를 살펴보고, 이를 토대로 법주사가 현재와 같은 영역구조를 가지게 된 배경과 원인을 고찰하여 그 특성을 밝혀내는 것을 본 연구의 목적으로 한다. 그 결과로서 법주사의 영역형성과정에 불교의 신앙체계의 변화가 지대한 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. This study has something of my object that among various reasons which worked on the process of forming territory of Bopchusa, observes how Maitreya's thought, as a system of Buddistic faith then, was reflected and expressed the formation of temple territory On the basis of that, this study also considers the background and reason 'how Bopchusa could be taken such a structure of territory as the present time' and makes clear its peculiarity. As a result I can find that the change of a system of Buddistic belief exerts a great influence on the course of making territory of Bopchusa.

우리 나라는 산업의 지속적인 발달로 용수수요는 점차 증가하고 있으나 용수원의 한정과 수질오염에 따라 가용용수가 감소하는 추세에 있다. 이러한 문제는 전력사업에도 예외일 수 없이 겪고 있으며 최근의 전력수요 증가에 따른 발전소 건설부지 확보와 아울러 당면환 과제로 직면하고 있다. 또한 기존의 용수원도 주변 환경오염등으로 점차 악화되어 지금까지 주로 적용하여온 이온교환수지기술에 한계가 오고 있다. 이러한 현상은 현재의 발전단지중 서울, 인천의 수도권 지역과 낙동강을 용수원으로 하는 영남지역 등에서 뚜렷이 나타나고 있다.

한국인과 싱가포르인의 이메일 아이디(ID) 작명에 대한 사회언어학적 연구

이 글의 목적은 한국인과 싱가포르인이 사용하는 이메일 아이디(ID) 작명의 양상을 사회적 변수(성별, 연령별, 직업별, 종교별, 교육별)에 의한 사회언어학적인 방법으로 대조 분석하는 것이다. 그런데 현대 사회에서 이메일은 중요한 의사소통 수단으로 널리 사용되고 있음에도 불구하고 지금까지 이메일 아이디 및 이메일 주소 작명의 양상에 대한 논의가 많지 않다. 게다가 먼저 설문조사를 한 후 인터넷 설문조사의 결과로 이메일 아이디 작명의 양상을 분석한 연구는 아직 많지 않은 실정이다. 분석 결과, 이메일 아이디 작명 양상의 공통점은 빈도 순위는 다르지만 거의 비슷한 결합 방식의 이메일 아이디를 선호한다는 것이다. 다른 점은 한국인은 영어 이름+좋아하는 숫자(21.1%)를 선호하는 반면, 싱가포르인은 성명(38.9%)을 사용한다는 점이다. 다시 말해 한국인은 다양한 이메일 아이디를 선호하는 반면 싱가포르인은 성명(38.9%)을 주로 사용하는 것이다. The purpose of this study is to compare and analyze the patterns of naming e-mail ID of Koreans and Singaporeans according to social variables (sex, age, occupation, religion, education) in sociolinguistic way. In conclusion, when naming an e-mail ID, the two countries have a common point that they prefer almost the same combination of e-mail addresses, provided that the rankings to the top 5 were different. The difference is that Koreans prefer English name + favorite number (21.1%), while Singaporeans prefer full name (38.9%). As a result, Koreans (21.1%) were found to use more diverse e-mail addresses than those Singaporeans (38.9%) use.

낮은 포물선(抛物線) 아치의 동적(動的) 안정영역(安定領域)에 관한 연구(硏究)

동하중(動荷重)을 받는 양단(兩端) 힌 지 포물선(抛物線) 아치의 연동방정식(連動方程式)을 Runge-Kutta 방법(方法)으로 수치해석(數値解析)하므로써 동적(動的) 임계하중(臨界荷重)을 구했다. 낮은 양단(兩端) 힌 지 포물선(抛物線) 아치에 step하중(荷重)과 impulse하중(荷重))이 작용(作用)하는 경우에 관해 Budiansky-Roth criterion을 적용하여 동적(動的) 임계하중(臨界荷重)을 정의(定義)하고, 이를 상관곡선(相關曲線)으로써 동적(動的) 안정영역(安定領域)을 제안하였다. 포물선(抛物線) 아치에 대하여 얻어진 결과를 정현(正弦) 아치의 경우와 비교(比較)하여 아치의 기하학적(幾何學的) 형상(形狀)이 동적(動的) 안정영역(安定領域)에 미치는 영향을 밝혔고, 동적(動的) 안정영역(安定領域)은 아치의 높이에 큰 영향을 받는다는 것을 밝혔다. Dynamic stability of parabolic shallow arches, which are supported by hinges at both ends, is investigated. The Runge-Kutta method is used to perform time integrations of the differential equations of motion with proper boundary conditions. Based on Budiansky-Roth criterion, dynamic critical load combinations are evaluated numerically for cases of step loads of infinite duration and impulse loads, individually. The results are plotted to get interaction curves. The loci of the dynamic critical loads, which are obtained in this study, are proposed as boundaries between the dynamic stability and instability regions for the parabolic shallow arches. The results for the parabolic shallow arches are also compared with those for sinusoidal arches of the same arch rises. According to the investigation, the dynamic stability regions for the parabolic arches are larger than those for the sinusoidal arches. However, it is shown that the arch rise is the more governing factor than the shape.
